Chapter 4 - Superhuman Strength

[Basic Wind Style (White): Your perception of Wind Style Chakra is more acute, and your control is smoother. Efficiency and success rate are slightly improved when learning and executing Basic Wind Style Ninjutsu.]

"Basic Wind Style..."

Shinichi silently took a white Litmus Paper from the drawer, and a moment later, the Litmus Paper burned.

"Oh..."

Looking at the burnt remains of the Litmus Paper in his hand, Shinichi fell silent again, then suddenly laughed.

People can actually laugh when they're speechless.

Fire attribute.

His Chakra nature is pure Fire Style.

This system panel is an aggregator of external perceptions and enhancements.

The talent solidified through public perception provides him with various boosts: [Intelligent] increases thinking speed and comprehension; [Diligent] strengthens focus and reduces fatigue; [Strong] enhances physical attributes...

His original talents are not displayed in his system panel.

For example, he can refine chakra and possesses fire nature chakra, but there are no talents like Ninja talent or fire nature chakra on his system panel.

The system panel is essentially an external equipment bar formed by external perceptions, and the talents on it are all equipment.

He was considered to be Intelligent, so an item called wisdom was created for him to increase his intelligence, which had no direct relation to his actual intelligence level.

Therefore, the equipment [Basic Wind Style (White)] is currently something that he, as a pure Fire Style character, cannot wear or activate for the time being.

"It's not entirely useless."

Shinichi shook his head, consoling himself with this thought.

Generally speaking, acquiring a new Chakra nature transformation requires the strength and understanding of a Jonin, as well as a long and arduous period of effort.

Having the Basic Wind Style talent will save him a lot of trouble, at least someday in the future, when he starts trying to master the wind attribute.

But now... It's just a useless decoration.

Shinichi walked to the window and looked out at the quiet village. The outline of the Hokage Rock was faintly visible in the starlight in the distance. He was about to close the panel.

But suddenly, the panel changed again!

The talent, Strong (White), suddenly emitted a bright green light, then shattered with a crash, and a new green text was generated.

[Superhuman Strength (Green): You possess superhuman physical strength, with enhanced muscle strength, endurance, and explosive power, allowing you to easily accomplish loads and acts of destruction that are beyond the reach of ordinary people.]

Shinichi was stunned for a moment and then felt his heart pound heavily.

Immediately afterward, a strong, powerful, thick, mercury-like warm current of blood started from his heart and spread rapidly through his blood vessels, bones, and tendons to his waist, arms, legs, and other major parts of his body.

This was followed by an unprecedented feeling of fullness and strength.

"Heh... Hehehe..."

Feeling the surging, real power within him, Shinichi lowered his head, his shoulders twitched slightly, and a laugh finally escaped from the depths of his throat.

Kakashi!!!

... ... …

Meanwhile, in the Hokage's office.

The lighting was soft, and documents were piled up like a mountain. The third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, was smoking a pipe and reviewing a report.

Every year at the start of the school year, things are always a bit more complicated than usual, so he has to invite two old partners, Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, to work overtime with him.

In the somewhat quiet office, Koharu Utatane seemed to remember something, her tone carrying her usual conservative and critical tone: "Speaking of which, I did hear something interesting. Today, a freshman, not very old, acted quite wildly. He actually carried a rather conspicuous big rock to the school to register, attracting quite a crowd at the entrance. Kids these days are really a handful. A ninja should be calm and composed."

Homura Mitokado looked up from the document, smiled, and said in a relatively relaxed tone, "Oh? Sounds like the kid is quite strong. Koharu, it's harmless for the kid to show off their energy, as long as it doesn't disrupt order."

Hiruzen Sarutobi paused, holding his pipe, and slowly exhaled a smoke.

The image he had glimpsed by chance with the crystal ball during the day flashed through his mind: A small figure carrying a boulder disproportionate to its size, moving with heavy but steady steps.

"I have a vague impression of this child. His name should be Shinichi, right?"

The third Hokage nodded and slowly said, "He is indeed quite strong. The weight of that stone would be very difficult for a child of his age, even with the aid of Chakra. But he... Seems to have carried it purely with his physical strength."

"Relying solely on physical strength?"

Homura Mitokado adjusted his glasses, a hint of surprise in his smile. "Hiruzen, it seems this little guy named Shinichi has a good physique; he should be a good candidate for training in Taijutsu."

After a moment, the third Hokage nodded: "He is indeed a good prospect."

Koharu, upon hearing this, said nothing, but she did form a slight impression of the child named Shinichi.

The Hokage's office returned to calm, with only the rustling of documents turning and the faint sound of burning tobacco.

Two days later, after two days of registration and supplementary enrollment, the Ninja Academy officially opened.

Shinichi has maintained his habit of going out for morning exercise at four in the morning, just like he has for years.

As dawn broke, he finished his training, washed up, and arrived at school on time, fifteen minutes before class.

He walked across the still quiet playground and entered the teaching building.

The door to class 2, grade 1, was wide open, and the children's unique, energetic chatter could be heard from inside.

Stepping into the classroom, Shinichi's gaze calmly swept over the seats, which were already mostly occupied.

Kakashi Hatake, Might Guy, Kurenai Yuhi, Asuma Sarutobi, Obito Uchiha, Rin Nohara... Those familiar names that corresponded to his memories.

Not a single one appeared in this classroom.

This is a good thing!

Shinichi could only console himself, but then he thought about it again and realized that this was not so bad after all.

Although Kakashi has been in the spotlight since birth and has enjoyed the reputation of being a genius since childhood, this reputation is somewhat superficial.

Only through his undeniable classroom performances, masterful Ninjutsu techniques, and overwhelming victories in real combat, especially defeating equally prominent peers like the Hokage's son, can his reputation as a genius be solidified from a mere rumor into a universally acknowledged fact.

"For me, achieving victory at his most dazzling moment, on the stage where his reputation is most solid, will yield the best results."

Moreover, even though they are in different classes, the two classes will inevitably clash during the Ninja Academy's practical training classes and regular assessments, not to mention the mid-term and final exams for the entire grade.

'It was just a slight adjustment of the spotlight angle.'

Shinichi's mind raced, his gaze sweeping across the classroom once more.

The seats were now mostly full, but his eyes finally settled on the upper right corner by the window, a three-person table where only a girl was sitting.
