Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: Light Spear

Roy's figure reappeared high in the sky.

"Just as I thought, the Flame-Flame Fruit really is something no one wants."

Roy suddenly recalled a certain meme and quietly complained to himself.

Although it was called the Flame-Flame Fruit, in the world of One Piece, many people possessed abilities that involved flames.

That made the Flame-Flame Fruit seem almost laughable.

After making that quip, Roy turned his attention to the Big Mom Pirates below.

"If I've calculated the time correctly, that woman Big Mom should be arriving here soon," he muttered to himself, knowing that the real main event was still to come, and the clash with Big Mom would be a tough battle.

Meanwhile, within the mysterious space of the chat group, members from different worlds gathered together, collectively witnessing Roy's dazzling battle.

On the screen, Roy single-handedly and effortlessly handled numerous powerful members of the Charlotte family, leaving everyone in awe.

[Awesome, 666!]

[So mighty! This is absolutely godlike!]

Uchiha Sasuke and Tanjiro had become the most devoted fans, spamming the chat group with fervent words expressing their admiration for Roy.

Far away in the Marvel world, Iron Man Tony Stark sat in his high-tech laboratory, his eyes fixed intently on the battle playing out on the screen.

His heart surged with excitement, ignited by the passion of Roy's fight.

In his thrill, Tony made a surprising move—he actually used Stark Industries to launch a rocket into space as a tribute to Roy's spectacular performance.

[Oh, a rocket for the big guy.]

Tony left a message in the chat group, his words carrying a hint of pride and satisfaction.

This rocket was not only his recognition of Roy's strength but also his unique way, as a tech enthusiast, of honoring the battle.

Roy, his gaze locked onto the continuously climbing points, felt joy within.

"It seems that after this fierce battle, I can finally start preparing to head to the Naruto world."

Roy pondered inwardly. He looked up gently, his gaze piercing through the layers of clouds as if already penetrating the boundaries of time and space, gazing upon the Naruto world.

At the same time, his gaze slowly descended, landing on the Big Mom Pirates below, who were standing ready.

"This game with you all has gone on too long; it's time to put an end to it."

The smile on Roy's lips gradually faded, replaced by a cold and stern expression.

Though his voice was soft, it exploded like thunder in everyone's hearts, sending a chill through the members of the Big Mom Pirates.

"Arrogant!" the pirates below roared repeatedly, their faces a mix of anger and resentment.

Amidst all the clamor, Katakuri remained exceptionally calm.

He frowned deeply, his Observation Haki fully activated as if trying to grasp every detail of the future.

As the second-in-command of the Big Mom Pirates, he understood the gap between himself and true Admiral-level combatants, yet deep down, he still held a sliver of hope—Roy was, after all, young; perhaps if they gave it their all, this group could buy some precious time.

After all, a first-mate-level combatant, with the right timing and strategy, could indeed hold off an Admiral-level opponent for a considerable time.

Marco was the prime example.

Thus, Katakuri once again pushed his Observation Haki to its limit, trying to peer into the hazy future.

However, when he finally caught a glimpse of the future, his face instantly turned as pale as paper.

High above the sky, Roy was surrounded by a brilliant golden light, as if the sun itself had descended upon the world. Endless particles of light gathered and danced around him, making him appear like a divine being.

His aura, at this moment, reached an unprecedented height. Even the sky changed color, the clouds parting as if pulled away by some invisible force.

"This is bad!" Katakuri's heart jolted, and he immediately awakened his awakened state.

Terrifying power surged within him; his Devil Fruit ability was pushed to its absolute limit. The entire pirate ship transformed under his will into a massive mochi fortress, coated in impenetrable Armament Haki.

In the next instant, countless tendrils of mochi rose from the ground like bamboo shoots after rain, rapidly growing and eventually coalescing into numerous massive mochi spears that hurtled through the air with howling winds, aiming directly at Roy in the sky, attempting to overwhelm him with sheer numbers.

Yet, facing this overwhelming onslaught, Roy merely smiled slightly.

Roy gently raised his hand, and the golden light enveloping him instantly became even more dazzling and intense, exuding a terrifying presence.

As his words fell, Roy chanted softly, his voice carrying immense power despite its quietness: "Light Shield."

The originally unstoppable mochi spears, upon contact with the golden light surrounding him, seemed to encounter an invisible barrier. They were deflected, some even exploding mid-air, scattering into fragments.

This sight made everyone present turn pale.

Katakuri's expression also turned grim. He had given it his all, yet his opponent seemed to have sustained not even a scratch.

This made him begin to doubt whether he truly had the ability to contend with such an opponent.

However, just as Katakuri was pondering his next move, Roy had already completed his preparations.

He shouted: "Light Spear!"

As his voice faded, the golden light around Roy instantly condensed into a massive beam, like a meteor streaking across the sky, carrying an unstoppable force as it shot straight towards Katakuri.

Wherever this beam passed, space itself seemed to tear, leaving behind traces that testified to its terrifying destructive power.

Amidst the fierce battle, Katakuri roared. His Devil Fruit ability was pushed to an unprecedented extreme.

In the void, countless donuts materialized out of thin air. They were not merely tangible constructs but carried devastating power, wildly emerging from them.

A golden light instantly engulfed the entire pirate ship. The light was so dazzling it was nearly impossible to look at directly.

Accompanied by this light was an unending series of explosions, one after another, deafening, as if trying to completely tear this stretch of sea apart.

After a long while, when the golden light finally faded, everything settled.

Through the smoke of battle, Katakuri could be seen breathing heavily. His body was covered in wounds, blood constantly seeping from the cuts and staining his clothes.

However, behind him, the officers of the Charlotte family were spared from the calamity, as he had promptly wrapped them tightly in mochi.

They looked at Katakuri with complex emotions, a mix of fear and gratitude in their eyes.
