"Hello, I'm Anna and this is my husband. Dwayne and our little angel Marie." The neighbor next door introduced and I grinned.
"I'm Brielle and this is my…" my words faltered as I stared at Kaius, unable to tell if I should call him my mate or husband.
"I'm Kaius." He announced, stretching his hand forth and Anna smiled, nodding softly as she walked into the house.
"This house is so beautiful." She muttered and I grinned, leading her to the dinning room.
We all sat for dinner.
"So tell us more about yourself? You said something about leaving a bad neighborhood, what was it like?"
I chuckled softly as images flashed in my head. I had been trying very hard to push out thoughts of Ryker and Thor from my head but my mind drifted to them instantly.
"Choking… Terrifying, it was hell." I replied, staring distantly into space.
