Chapter 84 - 84

Ever since Spencer rejected his promotion to Executive Director with the G-Virus, William knew that Umbrella didn't trust him. He might as well rely on the federal military, but he didn't have time to contact them; those bastards were watching him too closely.

William strode out of the laboratory, while Eddie looked at the document, which happened to contain some photos of the test subjects. "Wait, I think these two women are quite good. Give them to me; I just want to try them out."

Daniel frowned, "What do you want them for? They'll leak secrets, company secrets."

"Hmph! Just two women, who would believe them? Raccoon City is ours to control. I've already paid off a famous reporter; I can have her spread rumors for me. I don't care, I want these two!" Eddie was completely unreasonable.

"Give them to you? Hmph, fine, but on one condition: they must pass my experiment. If they can, I'll hand them over to you." Daniel sneered, secretly disdainful. This man in front of him seemed like he hadn't seen a beautiful woman in eight lifetimes, like a pervert, a madman!

This was the disguise Eddie needed. A successful man wouldn't take emotions too seriously, nor would he waste too much time on women. For them, women were just a transitional product, not strictly necessary.

And Eddie's disguise was very successful. Always revolving around women, what kind of future could such a person have? Even with talent, he wasn't to be feared. Such an obvious weakness, any pretty woman could deal with him!

"Hmph! Are you crazy? Look at what you've set up! Lickers, Raging Zombies, Hunter Alpha, Hunter Beta models, plus so many traps! Even the Marine Corps might not be able to get through! Are you messing with me? I'm telling you, my status is higher than yours. Spencer is my uncle. Are you challenging my authority?" Eddie roared.

Daniel frowned. If the other party was determined to speak ill of him in front of Spencer, it would always affect his position. Moreover, Eddie wasn't just an ordinary connected person; he was a talented connected person!

"Alright, you can send bodyguards to protect them, provided you're willing. This is my biggest concession. The company needs experiments, and these two test subjects cannot be easily released. I always need some data to report. Do you understand?" Daniel took a step back, but the conditions were still excessive.

"Alright, it seems you don't know how deeply Ms. Alex cares for me. Let me show you Ms. Alex's latest achievement. Jessica, you go participate in the experiment. Don't be polite along the way; rescue those two women!" Eddie said with a crazy look in his eyes.

"Yes, Master!" Jessica nodded indifferently. With her special high heels, she looked even taller; most men could only look up to her.

Daniel's expression changed. If it was Ms. Alex's latest research achievement, it must be something extraordinary. At the same time, he was a little curious: what exactly was that woman with the very cold expression?

Chapter 137: The Power of the Tyrantess

January and Becca were in the preparation room. They were confused, not knowing what they were about to experience, nor what the future held. After Umbrella captured them, they did nothing but eat and sleep, except for a recent injection. Perhaps they were going to be used as guinea pigs.

Click, the alloy door opened, and a woman with snow-white skin and long, golden, choppy hair walked in, wearing special strapped high heels, with a tactical dagger at her calf. Her height was over 1.8 meters, almost 1.9 meters, thanks to the high heels.

Seeing another woman enter, both women remained silent. The newcomer didn't look like a staff member either.

"You two follow me later. Don't talk nonsense, just don't die." Jessica spoke in a calm tone, her cold expression like an ice queen, only showing a woman's unique gentle side in the specific presence of Eddie.

Eddie was not surprised. Jessica, along with the Alpha variant of the Progenitor Virus, was deemed unable to fuse after entering dormant sleep and was discarded, left in a small cabin. After prolonged virus fusion, losing some human sensation was normal.

On a planet called Krypton, weren't its people also born without excess emotions, treated as tools of predetermined fate?

January and Becca exchanged glances. They didn't know who this woman was. If she was saving them, why didn't she just take them out directly?

"Are you here to save us?" Becca asked doubtfully.

Jessica nodded, "Don't talk nonsense. Get your weapons. If you die, you won't survive!"

Her voice was still incredibly cold, but it possessed basic reason. Jessica could perfectly handle simple and intermediate tasks, even warming a memory foam mattress. But asking her to build a rocket would be asking too much.

Eddie looked at Jessica's expression on the monitor and said arrogantly, "Daniel, a bet?"

"What bet?" Daniel frowned.

"I bet all your placed bio-weapons will be completely killed by my bodyguard. Do you want to bet? If I win, give me ten million. If I lose, I'll give you ten million, the kind you pay immediately!" Eddie instantly turned into a money-grubber.

"What do you need so much money for?" Daniel asked doubtfully. He wasn't short on money; ten or twenty million wouldn't bother him. If it were one or two hundred million, he would need to consider it carefully.

"Doesn't eating and chasing girls cost money? Tsk, I really don't know what's so good about you all staying in cold laboratories all day. How much money will I need to marry Ms. Alex in the future? What a headache!" Eddie's eyes were a little fanatic.

Daniel shook his head. Another poor soul who succumbed to Ms. Alex's charm. "Alright, I'll bet with you."

As soon as the time came, the door immediately opened. Jessica's high heel kicked off the steel plate, and she rushed out, the tactical dagger on her calf appearing in her hand at some unknown moment.

By the time Becca and January cautiously walked out with their pistols, they found a large number of headless corpses lying on the ground, seemingly freshly slaughtered.

If a common Zombie's neck isn't twisted or its head hit, the T-Virus has a chance to re-gather energy in the body and undergo a second, complete mutation.

Experiments showed that these reconstructed Zombies usually mutated after multiple feedings, with excess energy. Further mutation could lead to creatures like Tyrants or the infamous Lickers!

"What's going on? Did that woman do this?" Becca found it hard to believe. She vaguely recalled seeing rotting Zombie Dogs and Zombies attacking travelers, tearing and gnawing at them.

January's expression was very calm. As a top hacker, she was very interested in all of this. Although the scene was disgusting, it didn't hinder her desire to continue exploring.

Eddie and Daniel stood in front of the display screen, watching Jessica, who was like a cheat-code woman, equivalent to a super-weapon like a Tyrant. Five Zombie Dogs attacked her simultaneously, but Jessica used a spinning kick with speed too fast for the eyes to follow, her high heels directly kicking off the heads of these Zombie Dogs!

Her pristine hands, at extreme speed, transformed into hand-blades, effortlessly severing the Zombies' heads! Jessica's eyes were incredibly calm, as if she had just swatted a fly, and she thoroughly enjoyed this feeling; the release of violence was so wonderful.

A side effect of the serum was berserker rage, which could manifest in two ways.

After slaughtering the monsters in the first area, Jessica stopped. Some bloodstains clung to her clothes, making her look like a Valkyrie returned from hell.

As soon as Becca and January arrived, they heard a voice, "You're so slow!"

Jessica pressed a button on the wall with her hand, and the door to the second area opened. She had a stable earpiece that received voice messages.

At the same time, Suzuki Yoko, who had also arrived in Raccoon City, was controlling a computer in the large truck, checking surveillance and reporting to Jessica, informing her of the enemy's situation.

The second area contained various models of Hunters and abandoned bio-weapons, such as Chimera fly-men and giant spiders.

Facing a Hunter nearly two meters tall, a controllable weapon blending lizard and human genes, Jessica showed no hesitation. Her hand directly grabbed the head of a charging Hunter that was leaping and clawing in mid-air, and she squeezed it forcefully.

Splat! The Hunter was instantly headshotted and killed. Jessica, performing such a cruel act, didn't even change her expression.

Witnessing Jessica's ferocity up close, Becca and January were both incredibly shocked. How could a woman possess such formidable strength? This power must exceed a ton!

Even Daniel in front of the camera was astonished. "Did you invent this?"

Eddie wagged his index finger. "No, no, no, this is a test subject given to me by the great Ms. Alex. Hehe, it's really useful. You'd better prepare ten million; you've lost!"

Jessica, whose combat power was already comparable to a Tyrant, displayed immense strength and combat skills against these bio-weapons. Not a single monster could land an effective attack on her; this was truly a case where there wasn't a single one that could fight!

Chapter 138: What is Playing for Real?

Jessica's formidable combat power was now truly put into practice. Eddie was very satisfied. With such a super bodyguard, even in a Raccoon City overrun by Zombies, he would be very safe. Moreover, Jessica's loyalty was extremely high, so there was no need to worry about betrayal, and she might even be able to do some unexpected things.

Daniel felt it necessary to report this matter to the board of directors. He wasn't sure if this woman named Jessica was a bio-weapon. If not, why did she possess superhuman strength?

No one would suspect that Jessica was the test subject from when the Mansion was first built. How could someone declared dead thirty-three years ago be resurrected?

"I told you long ago, just give me the money." Eddie held out his hand for money, his expression triumphant, a typical smug villain, looking very punchable.

Svetlana behind him was trying hard to suppress her laughter. She knew Eddie too well; he was especially good at acting in front of outsiders. But in front of her, he seemed to have never lied.

"Hmph, I'll give it to you." Daniel took out his phone to transfer the money. Losing ten million stung a little.

Jessica, still in the experimental area, cleared out all the monsters in her path. Not a single monster was left alive by Jessica. Any places that required finding key fragments to open doors were simply kicked open by her, without any hesitation.

This Tyrant-like strength, rampaging unchecked, was indeed astonishing and incredibly fierce!
