Chapter 223 - 223

"Letting an outsider handle these matters while your Federal Bio-Terrorism Commission remains inactive—do you find that interesting? I'm afraid Kaplan's intention is to usurp your position." Simmons began to sow discord.

This made General Morgan's eyes flash with a hint of displeasure, both at Simmons's nonsense and his concern about the situation. "Tell me your specific plan, don't talk too much useless stuff."

Sienna heard explosive news in the restroom: Simmons and General Morgan had teamed up. It seemed they were preparing to deal with the family's second-in-command, Kaplan, and her soon-to-be boss, Eddie.

"How interesting! I was just hoping to catch a few fish, but I never expected to land a big one!" A hint of triumph flashed in Sienna's beautiful eyes; it seemed she still had it.

The perimeters of three interconnected cities were controlled by the National Guard, while local branches were responsible for appeasing residents. Any suspicious individuals found were to be immediately arrested, and if necessary, shot to death.

Under the highest order of strict vigilance, no one dared to cause trouble. The hooligans who had planned to take advantage of the chaos immediately backed down; no one dared to stir up trouble at this time.

During this special period, gunshots could be heard almost constantly, and wherever there were gunshots, someone was sure to die.

Meanwhile, in the WilPharma restaurant, Eddie and Senator David were enjoying a celebratory dinner.

"Thank you, Dr. Eddie, for your help. We were able to earn so much money this time, all thanks to you. Come, I'll toast you." David raised his glass and said.

"You'd best keep an eye on whether the Senate will provide the money, otherwise, if we lose money, it's not my problem. As for my share, not a single cent can be less. If it is, I'll show you what cruelty is." Eddie picked up his glass and sneered.

David recalled Simmons's subordinates, each of whom looked as if they had seen a ghost, exploding and dying. Forensic examinations all indicated ruptured internal organs, with no clear cause of death, possibly due to vibrations.

Killed by vibrations? This explanation was somewhat comical and absurd, yet also terrifying.

"Understood, understood, I'll keep an eye on it. Doctor, I've already prepared a party for tonight. Come join us, there are many beautiful women, very enthusiastic, who will let you enjoy the warm hospitality of Havverville City girls." David winked, a look only men understood.

Angela was a bit unhappy, glaring at the Senator. Although she knew that playing along at work was necessary, no one was like her brother, who maintained restraint even as an executive CEO.

Eddie, however, waved his hand, "I've already experienced the enthusiasm of Havverville City girls. Tonight, I'm going to watch a movie with Angela. I appreciate your kind offer."

Senator David slapped his forehead and said apologetically, "Haha, no problem, next time, you must come next time."

He understood what Eddie meant: that man didn't like playing along, he just hadn't had the opportunity. With a beauty present, it was certainly impossible to agree directly. Although somewhat hypocritical, he was also a charming person.

After eating and drinking to their fill, Eddie really did take Angela to the cinema to watch a movie, which surprised Angela a little, and she felt a small thrill in her heart.

The movie was a good romance film, seemingly hinting at something.

"Why didn't you go to the party, but came to watch a movie with me instead? Wait, I never even said I wanted to watch a movie." Angela felt she had been tricked.

"Why so many questions? You already know many of my secrets, you can't escape. Do you know the two ways I deal with women who know my secrets?" Eddie said with a wicked smile.

Angela felt a bit embarrassed by his gaze, lowering her head; the queen of special police was shy. "I don't know."

"One is to kill you! Of course, I wouldn't do that, and I couldn't bear to. So there's only the second way: make you one of us, join my gang, and help me do things." Eddie explained earnestly, though the atmosphere made it hard to be serious.

Angela bit her silver teeth. She had indeed learned many secrets by coming along today, and she hadn't wanted to know them. If she had known this would happen, she wouldn't have chosen to come. "So, what do you want?"

"It's simple. You brought your ID, right? After the movie, we'll grab a late-night snack, and after that, don't go home tonight." Eddie said in an unrefusable tone.

Angela blinked, a bit self-mockingly, "You planned all this, didn't you? I can feel it; you had ill intentions from the start."

"You guessed right. I just dug a pit, and you jumped right in. Congratulations, you've won the prize." Eddie smirked.

On Inglan Island in Europe, the Tricell headquarters is located here. Countless nobles have emerged from the long and rich history of this nation. Spencer, Travis, Ashford, and so on, are all well-known noble families.

Chris brought his former teammates from Raccoon City to Inglan Island. They were greeted by a steady middle-aged man with an ordinary appearance but an intelligent aura.

"Hello, I'm O'Brien, and welcome. I hear you are also anti-bioterrorism fighters, and I'm very happy to meet you." O'Brien extended his hand.

Chris shook his hand, "Hello, I hear you are forming a new global organization?"

"That's right, its proper name is the Bio-terrorism Security Assessment Alliance, or BSAA for short. We will all be among its founders. This organization is funded by the Pharmaceutical Association and is dedicated to combating bio-terrorism and destroying biological weapons. This is a very dangerous job, and death is common. Are you sure you want to join?" O'Brien asked.

"Of course, I have sworn to fight Umbrella to the end. The biological weapons they produce must be destroyed; these are anti-human things." Chris said indignantly, his sense of justice not allowing him to forget the tragedy of Raccoon City.

Chapter 371: Is Simmons Crazy?

This is a global organization, unlike the FBC, which is exclusive to the Federation.

At its inception, some mercenaries were assigned to Chris for training. He would serve as the captain of the assault team, executing missions to eliminate biological weapons.

Angela also woke up, her beautiful eyes scanning Eddie with a complex expression. She had no preparation at all when she was taken, and the speed of it left her unable to react. "Darling, what are you looking at?"

"Watching the news. Didn't I join the Pharmaceutical Association? Although those people are dirty, after the Raccoon City incident, they had some ties to Umbrella, so they funded the creation of an organization to combat bio-terrorism, equipped with firearms, essentially a public service force." Eddie turned his head and said.

"So what should I do now? Follow you or continue working here?" Angela blinked her beautiful eyes, a little tentatively.

"It's up to you. I won't force women; you can do whatever you like. The premise is that you cannot have intimate contact or relationships with other men. That is not allowed." Eddie said lightly.

Jessica and Lisa were also in the room. They generally didn't stray far from Eddie; they were his 24-hour personal bodyguards. They were currently cooking in the kitchen, capable both in the living room and the kitchen—perfect marriage material.

"You men really are a bit overbearing." Angela playfully rolled her eyes. "I'd like to continue working here for a while, if that's okay?"

"Of course, no problem. When I go back, you'll come with me. I have a gift for you. Actually, my goal isn't to make money; making money is just to fulfill my dream." Eddie's expression was somewhat playful.

"What dream?" Angela felt very curious. It seemed she hadn't really gotten to know him much before she was taken so confusedly. Was she being led by the nose a bit?

"Immortality! To live a very long life while staying eternally young. How about that, isn't it ridiculous?" Eddie laughed.

Angela shook her head, placing her delicate hand on the man's face, her expression sincere. "No, it's not funny at all. What others can't do, my husband definitely can. Husband, I believe in you."

"Thank you. I already have a direction. Come back with me in a few days, and you'll know what's going on. See if I was wrong. You'll be proud of your foresight, I guarantee it." Eddie said confidently. He wasn't bragging; none of the women who had witnessed his abilities had ever been willing to leave, not even the aloof Aunt Wang couldn't escape.

"I'm very much looking forward to it, husband." Angela smiled sweetly. After their conversation, she could feel the distance between them had significantly closed.

Jessica quickly walked in with a large pile of food, and Lisa was holding a thermos with goji berry water inside, for the man's kidney nourishment.

At noon, Eddie sent Angela back home. She had no immediate tasks, so she could rest for a while before undergoing further enhancement.

In Kunka Tela City, Rachel looked at the already unconscious residents in the isolation camp. "They will mutate very soon. They are already critically ill, and even a vaccine would be difficult to treat."

Sheva felt a pang of sadness. "Instructor, do we have no other options?"

Rachel shook her head. "We can only wait for the vaccine to arrive. Sheva, you'd best put away your compassion. We are warriors fighting bio-attacks; before us are only enemies, not humans. Do you know where your parents worked? It was a laboratory. When the virus spread, it was directly blown up."

At the mention of her lost parents, Sheva's eyes turned red.

Rachel curved a smile, picked up a gun, and handed it over. "Go, kill those mutated zombies. Only through slaughter can you quickly grow."

Sheva held the gun, aiming at the pale-skinned zombies that were already swaying to their feet. As a zombie approached, her eyes became incredibly firm, and she resolutely pulled the trigger, firing the bullet.

Rachel looked at the fallen zombie and nodded with satisfaction. She was no longer the beautiful agent who panicked when encountering a Leaker on the ship, but a nimble and seasoned agent.

After Sheva shot the mutated zombie, Rachel received a call. "Yes, I understand. I will do it."

After hanging up, Rachel waved her hand. "Let's go. A Senator is trapped in a university. The area has been sealed off, and there are mutated zombies inside. This time, we're going to rescue people."
