Chapter 250 - 250

"Is this Morpheus?" Eddie asked, a little confused.

Oriana shook her head. "No, it's not like him. If it were him, he couldn't have turned into this."

"A clone! Do you remember William, the one you mentioned? Didn't he use clones to escape?" Alexia, however, immediately saw through the monster's secret.

"Another clone? Don't these people fear shortening their lifespan?" Eddie tossed his cigarette butt away, a streak of light in the air as it turned to ash, a little speechless.

Cloning someone requires certain standards, and a complete clone needs many materials, including the most important bone marrow, and so on.

Extracting bone marrow can cause the body to age rapidly, and to a certain extent, getting older is equivalent to shortening one's lifespan. Someone who could have lived for fifty years might only live for forty-five.

Furthermore, cloning technology carries risks and can fail. High risk, low reward—that's why cloning technology hasn't developed rapidly. Even a genius doctor like William wouldn't casually clone himself to be a biochemical weapon; that's not madness, that's consciously seeking death.

"You or me?" Eddie asked with a smile.

"You go. You're full of energy; young people should exercise more. If anything goes wrong, Jessica will help you, don't worry." Alexia blew smoke rings, her jade fingers painted with mysterious dark purple nail polish, like a noblewoman from a wealthy family.

"Can't you do it?" Jessica, who had been silent, suddenly spoke.

Alexia looked at the blonde beauty with some surprise. "Because I'm not ready yet. Aren't you willing?"

"I am more than willing." Jessica's beautiful eyes flashed with a hint of anticipation and excitement. For Eddie, she could do anything, including dying. This was her resolve after first seeing Eddie in her long period of darkness.

Eddie twisted his neck, stomped his right foot on the ground, and quickly rushed out, a faint, almost imperceptible electric glow flashing from his right hand. It collided with the monster Tyrant's claws, seemingly insignificant, like an egg hitting a rock, a suicidal act.

Fong Ling, watching from behind, had a hint of worry in her beautiful eyes, while Oriana showed a flicker of curiosity, also wanting to see what formidable combat power the man possessed.

Eddie's eyes flashed with immense confidence. Having been strengthened three times, and with Lisa and Jessica's help, could he still not defeat a monster Tyrant?

Bang! The monster Tyrant's arm was directly broken. Eddie immediately followed with a spinning kick, sending the monster Tyrant flying. Electrical energy protected his shoes, even breaking hard bone spurs.

The flying monster Tyrant crashed violently into a large rock, shattering half of it, its body embedded in the stone.

If gaining power isn't for beating these monsters, then what's the point of strengthening? It's just a strengthened kidney, no need for wolfberry water!

Chapter 415: Leon S Kennedy Captured

Only Oriana's beautiful eyes showed an 'as expected' look, sparkling with brilliance. She could deduce that Eddie had definitely been strengthened with a virus. And the result of the strengthening far exceeded her expectations; no wonder a twenty-year-old young man didn't even have acne. This kind of upkeep would make even women jealous.

Only Alexia remained unmoved, neither endorsing nor denying her boyfriend's show-off performance, still calmly smoking her cigarette. Unless it was one of those mutated monsters from the seabed, which might be a bit tricky to deal with, she wasn't afraid of a one-on-one fight.

Eddie retracted his fist and slowly walked over. The monster Tyrant was still struggling to stand up, but the trace amount of G-Virus was not enough for it to evolve into a large meat mountain like William. He raised his foot, and with a flicker of electric energy, he intended to crush its head, completely ending the monster's life.

"Don't attack him at close range. He's accumulating electrical energy, and there will be a magnetic storm. You won't be able to withstand it." Alexia, however, reminded him in time. Play is play, but don't joke with life.

Eddie retreated very quickly, withdrawing in an instant, taking Fong Ling and Oriana to a distant place. They headed in another direction on the island, trying to avoid the magnetic storm's attack range.

A helicopter came to provide support, but the monster Tyrant suddenly exploded, and a wave of magnetic storm current spread out. The helicopter's instruments instantly failed, and it spun and crashed somewhere on the island, followed by an explosion.

Eddie looked at this magnetic storm current, his eyelids twitching. "Shouldn't we figure out a way to defend against this kind of attack when we get back?"

Alexia also had some lingering fears. Even she might feel uncomfortable with such an attack, especially since it could cause disfigurement. A solution must be found; being hit by magnetic resonance could cause certain mutations and unimaginable injuries. "We really need to think carefully about how to deal with it."

"Let's worry about future things later. For now, let's think about how to leave this island first." Eddie frowned; solving one Tyrant was not worth celebrating.

Such Tyrants cannot be mass-produced; genetic matching is an issue, even rarer than Sergei's physique.

Soon, a huge explosion also occurred in the distant seabed. The waves were lifted almost sixty meters by the blast. The entire Kazakhstan Island experienced a tremor. This kind of explosive shockwave only happens with nuclear bombs!

The sea surface quickly showed many animal severed limbs, seemingly like octopus tentacles, all burned section by section. The high-temperature scorching, even without flames in the ocean, would still cook them.

Two more huge tremors came, and two more nuclear missiles exploded in the ocean. These micro nuclear missiles have great power. The pollution is relatively small. It seems that because a warship was sunk, the fleet commander could no longer hold back, and various powerful weapons began to be deployed in rotation.

Soon another helicopter flew over, coming to pick up Eddie and the others.

"You go up first, I'll cover the rear." Eddie waved his hand, letting the women go first. This was a risk-free show-off act. It did, however, move Fong Ling and the others a little; someone who gives way to you at a critical moment must be someone worth cherishing.

Leon and the others on the other side were not so lucky and were sent flying by Morpheus.

The participating special forces surrounded him, trying to eliminate this strange Tyrant. However, Morpheus blocked the bullets with an electromagnetic shield, then attacked at high speed, using his claws to decapitate them.

Bullets, grenades, and even rocket launchers had no effect on him. Morpheus's left hand, indistinguishable from a human's, could even pick up firearms to attack, using human weapons to attack humans.

Not a single European Union special forces member present survived. Faced with an inhuman monster, an unkillable entity, even the bravest warriors could only become corpses.

"It's your turn, you little brats." Morpheus sneered, looking at Leon and the others.

"Bring it on, ma'am." Leon discarded his assault rifle; his bullets were depleted. Seeing that thermal weapons had no effect, he decided to use cold weapons.

"Hunnigan, find a boat, let Kevin and them leave. I'll hold this monster." Leon quietly spoke into his communicator.

Hunnigan, far away in the Federation Communications Department, was silent for a moment. "Actually, you can escape yourselves. The island will soon be cleansed by missiles, and the mission is no longer important."

"We can't escape. Someone has to stop this person." Leon finished speaking and pulled out a dagger, striking a few poses. "Kevin, go get reinforcements. I'll hold him."

"You're crazy. That guy is not easy to deal with. I've never abandoned my comrades, not even in Raccoon City." Kevin pulled out his Magnum and fired a few shots at Morpheus.

Morpheus used the properties of electricity to block the bullets. The Magnum rounds were twisted into iron flowers, proving how much lethality they would have caused to the human body upon impact, but it was all in vain—they couldn't hit anyone!

Whoosh! Morpheus slapped Kevin and Bruce, sending them flying over thirty meters, plunging them into the sea. If they hadn't been thrown, such force could have instantly shattered their bones.

"Did you just call me ma'am?" Morpheus's voice reverted to male.

"Aren't you?" Leon said, immediately lunging with his dagger.

Morpheus directly grabbed the dagger and twisted it with force, breaking the alloy-made blade. He grabbed Leon's neck and lifted him up. "Do you want to die?"

Morpheus chose not to kill Leon. Instead, while clear-headed, he used Leon as a hostage and quickly jumped down the cliff. In an internal cave, there was a branch connecting to the outside ocean.

Arriving at the submarine, Morpheus threw the unconscious Leon inside, and with his left hand, quickly controlled the submarine to submerge, heading for the distance.

Kevin and Bruce, who had been thrown, were rescued by nearby sailors and evacuated with the personnel.

The European Union had already obtained the research data from the island. Although much of it was unusable, the clone technology for bio-engineered cannon fodder was very useful, greatly reducing soldier casualties.

Chapter 416: Spectacular Missile Cleansing Scene

Just as he was about to ask, he heard a pleasant female voice. "Hi, Doctor Eddie, it's quite a coincidence to see you here."

He turned his head to see a female agent with short, peach-pink hair, dressed somewhat seductively, speaking to him. It was Sheila, who shared a name with his bodyguard, Jessica.

"Hello, are you here too? You're not going undercover on the island, are you?" Eddie asked with a smile.

"Doctor, you're joking. We are here to assist in dealing with the biochemical terrorism. The situation is getting worse and worse; these monsters have reached a size where regular weapons cannot deal with them, which is worrying." Sheila lowered her head, showing no hint of her inner thoughts.
