Both sides began a massacre in the rainforest. After the villagers died, Javier's subordinates threw a large number of bioweapons onto the field to intercept them. They ranged from cheap waste products to Hunters, and finally, two mass-produced Tyrants appeared.
After a long, bitter battle, General Morgan ordered the Thanatos Tyrant to join the fight, while also dispatching the Bionic Human Unit for support.
The Thanatos Tyrant's host body was a Black man, and after modification, it became even stronger. This time, there was still only one Thanatos Tyrant, as only one suitable host body could be found for its creation.
This demonstrated the power of the Family, which searched for death row inmate files in prisons. In the capitalist world, money truly can buy a life.
The appearance of the Thanatos Tyrant completely suppressed the bioweapons on the battlefield. Whether they were large spiders or small spiders, they were crushed under a single claw, and some small spiders were even eaten alive.
Sheila, standing behind, frowned slightly, feeling a sense of wavering for the first time, yet she continued to secretly collect combat data on the Thanatos Tyrant.
Captain Parker, however, was frowning. Obviously, fighting alongside bioweapons felt extremely strange. It wasn't just him; all the accompanying soldiers felt the same way.
At the private dam, Eddie Cai arrived at the laboratory. Javier was too busy to greet him, and the surrounding security had been significantly tightened.
Hilda, who had been stunned by electricity, was cleaned with disinfectant, and a large, rectangular cryo-chamber was prepared.
The cleaned Hilda seemed ready to attack again, but she was once more pinned down by Jessica's high heel. A burst of high-voltage electricity knocked her unconscious again.
Thud. Hilda was thrown into the rectangular cryo-chamber. Jessica picked up a syringe filled with dark green liquid, walked over, and injected her.
Soon, the monster form of Hilda began to smoke, then quickly became covered in mucus, forming a unique cocoon.
Hilda's treatment was only the first step: restoring her human form. What she used before was a variant strain developed by the San Francisco Branch, and the person who sold it to Javier was not Wesker, but Morpheus from the Atlantic Branch.
This was also why Morpheus came; mostly because he wanted to keep an eye on Leon, who interested him.
Alexia was looking at a tablet computer, which displayed information about the application of magnetic fields.
"Any thoughts?" Eddie Cai was a little tired, so he found a spot to rest and closed his eyes to recuperate.
"Perhaps we really can use our electrical abilities to influence magnetic fields. When we get back, we can run some good experiments. That woman's genes and blood are strange and worth researching." Alexia raised her chin toward Manuela.
"Alright, I'll rest for a bit then. I'm so sleepy," Eddie Cai yawned.
Alexia glanced at the man with her beautiful eyes. "Leaning on me, hmph, you're getting off easy."
When Eddie Cai heard such a good thing was available—being guarded by the Queen while resting—he thought that wasn't bad at all.
Inside the dam, Javier was dealing with a subordinate who had leaked information, when suddenly a gun was pointed at his head, the cold metallic sensation touching his skin.
A Black man was sneering, "Javier, your stupidity has led to us being besieged. You'd better stay put here and don't let your ideas kill you."
"Mensellu, you traitor! You eat my food and use my resources, yet you dare betray me?" Javier was furious.
Mensellu suddenly punched Javier, knocking him to the ground. "I haven't settled the score with you about my Wife yet, and you played with my mother and then killed her. Did you think I wouldn't know?"
"Hmph, shoot then." Javier didn't explain. They were just women; he didn't care at all.
"Is that so? I will make you watch as your women suffer miserably right in front of you. Your daughter is quite attractive, isn't she? Hahaha, it wouldn't be bad to have her bear me a son." Mensellu sneered maliciously.
"You beast, how dare you!" Javier was punched to the ground immediately after speaking, nearly passing out.
"Lock him up, and go open the laboratory." Mensellu instructed his subordinates.
Ten minutes later, the subordinates returned. "Boss, the laboratory door is locked down. We can't open it."
"What! Damn dog thing! Gather the others, we're having a meeting. I'm the Boss now." Mensellu didn't worry about it. It wouldn't be too late to seize the people after consolidating his control over the others.
In the outer rainforest, Chris and Leon successfully met up. They originally intended to aid the Federal Bio-Terrorism Commission, but discovering that these people were actually using bioweapons against bioweapons infuriated Chris.
Since the two sides couldn't agree, Chris followed behind, keeping them out of sight and out of mind.
With the addition of the Thanatos Tyrant, the advance speed was very fast. Plus, they had a captured subordinate acting as a guide, so they didn't need to take detours and headed straight for Javier's dam.
When the combined mixed unit arrived in front of the dam, large numbers of Zombies were roaming around, and armed militants were bombarding them with heavy fire from atop the dam.
For a time, the members of the Federal Bio-Terrorism Commission were suppressed and couldn't lift their heads. They couldn't use their heavy weapons here. If the dam exploded and caused a flood, the downstream areas would suffer heavy losses, potentially resulting in even more deaths.
Moreover, the local armed squad was still there, making such an action inappropriate.
"Send the Thanatos Tyrant to launch a surprise attack, otherwise, we won't have any chance." Sheila reluctantly suggested.
Parker also nodded. "This is Alpha Team. We have reached Drug Lord Javier's dam. Requesting Tyrant assistance!"
"Command received. You will follow the Thanatos Tyrant to launch the assault and conduct joint operations." General Morgan personally commanded from the Command Room. After this, his authority would certainly be further enhanced. At that point, his sphere of influence would spread globally!
On the other side, the imprisoned Javier was anxious. He felt a wave of relief upon learning that his daughter was temporarily safe after the lab was sealed. He had protected his Wife and daughter precisely because he was afraid of them being affected, but he still hadn't succeeded in the end.
Knocking on the iron door, Javier spoke to the outside. "You two, take me to my Villa. I can give you ten million each. Once you have it, you can leave and disappear. Neither Mensellu nor I will be able to find you. You can use those ten million to live lavishly. How about it?"
Money makes the world go round, and right now, the two guards outside were those two 'ghosts.'
Chapter 434: No One Cannot Be Cured
Javier's Villa was now occupied by the traitor Mensellu. Javier's excessive cold-bloodedness and his focus only on his immediate family, while giving him absolute authority, also planted the seeds of rebellion.
The reason a rabbit doesn't eat the grass near its burrow is that if something goes wrong, it becomes very embarrassing. Clearly, Javier didn't understand this principle, nor did he possess Eddie Cai's technology, so his downfall was inevitable.
In the Greenhouse Area of the Villa, there was a dedicated password lock. Inside, a special plant infected with the Veronica Virus was being cultivated. It was originally a Venus flytrap but gradually transformed into a Man-Eating Flower.
This unique plant was cultivated as a precaution, and it seemed it was genuinely needed now.
Eddie Cai only took an hour-long nap in the laboratory. Guarded by the Queen, he truly didn't want to wake up from his rest.
Seeing the man sit up, Alexia asked lightly, "Awake?" The feeling was somewhat like a spoiled Wife asking her husband.
Eddie Cai nodded. "Mhm, it's about time. Did someone cause trouble just now?"
Alexia nodded. "I used Hacking Technology to program the iron door shut. They can't get in."
She didn't bother January because January was still on maternity leave. Since they were sisters, she gave her a bit of vacation time.
Eddie Cai looked at the still beautiful and noble Alexia. "Wife, when did you learn Hacking Technology?"
Alexia lifted her head proudly. "I learned it ages ago. Did you think I was as stupid as you?"
"It doesn't matter if I'm stupid, as long as you and the children are smart," Eddie Cai chuckled mischievously.
Alexia rolled her eyes but didn't refute him. She genuinely wanted a child, preferably a daughter, because she didn't like men. Daughters tend to resemble their mothers, and she wanted a child to experience motherhood, which was also the second step in trying to escape the Ashford Family's curse.
Walking to the rectangular cryo-chamber, the huge cocoon began to crack after absorbing a large amount of Nutrient Fluid. Hilda molted from a monster back into a normal human, closely resembling the blonde, blue-eyed woman in the photo.
Hilda had a very long dream, sometimes lucid, sometimes hazy. She knew she had previously turned into a monster, but the tendency toward berserk rage made her unable to control herself.
The first person she saw was Eddie Cai. She felt a strange sense of familiarity, but she couldn't speak yet, having been silent for over ten years. Just like Jessica back then, she had forgotten how to talk.
