Chapter 266 - 266

Three days later, Eddie, resting on the beach of Goddess Island, received a phone call, which Jessica, still wearing a bikini, handed to him. "What is it?"

On the other end of the line was General Morgan. "Hand over Manuela. She is infected with the Veronica Virus but hasn't mutated yet, making her excellent experimental material."

"What if I don't hand her over? Send troops to attack me? Or launch that Solar Satellite built by the Federation and the European Union to bomb me?" Eddie sneered, quickly revealing all of the opponent's trump cards.

"Hmph, you wouldn't want to see news reports across the world about a famous philanthropist harboring biological weapons," General Morgan threatened.

"I really don't mind. Please help me become famous. Oh, and send out the photos of me appearing in the Amazon Rainforest while you're at it, thank you." Eddie didn't care. Hand over Manuela? Are you kidding? That's his wife! Why would he hand her over? Only a lunatic would give away his own wife.

On this point, both Warren of Raccoon City and Kaplan of the family expressed confusion, as it seemed they had personally handed their wives over to a certain bastard, who even fathered a child with them. That was truly excessive.

General Morgan, on the other side, was somewhat exasperated. He had used every means of threat, but the other party acted like he couldn't care less. Furthermore, as one of the developers of the T-Virus vaccine, he really had no way to deal with him.

The G-Virus vaccine was still under development. That forbidden-zone-like virus was the source of all evil, and its power was too terrifying; a vaccine had to be developed to suppress it. All of this required Eddie's help.

Even Simmons, who hated Eddie to the extreme, couldn't use violent means to solve the problem and had to cooperate. General Morgan, a small fry, was even less qualified. This was something that made General Morgan furious yet helpless.

"Hmph, just you wait." General Morgan left a harsh threat before hanging up the call.

"Boring!" Eddie put his phone on the table, watching women like Jill and Claire playing in the water with their daughters on the beach.

In the laboratory, Manuela and Hilda were still undergoing further data collection. The door scanned open, and Eddie walked in, bringing Sheila, who was on leave from the Federation. With them were Rachel, the mysterious beauty whose bangs covered her eyes, and her daughter Mari.

Rachel had come for the second phase of reinforcement, having not had the opportunity before. She also brought her daughter back so the child could spend some quality time with her biological father.

" Mari, say 'Daddy'," Rachel said, holding her daughter and smiling.

The little girl was a bit timid. "Daddy, why couldn't I see Daddy before?"

"Because Daddy was very busy. From now on, you can spend time with Daddy often, and also with Mommy often. I'm sorry, my little princess," Eddie said apologetically, realizing he hadn't taken care of his daughter much.

"Okay, then Daddy has to spend more time with Mari. Mari will be very, very good." The girl, who already looked like a two-year-old, was actually only three months old. Her development speed was so fast that it was easy to overlook her true age.

Sheila watched with a strange expression. "It seems my guess was correct. Rachel really does have a secret relationship with you—she even bore your child."

"Aren't you the same now? You'll also bear my children in the future, so stop being jealous!" Eddie said, waving his hand.

"Bastard! I'm not jealous! I'm just stating the facts," Sheila retorted, stressing that she wasn't in a hurry to become a mother.

"Relax, relax, I know women don't always mean what they say. Go inside the Sterilization Chamber. You will witness true power and take the first step toward eternal life," Eddie said, pointing to the Sterilization Chamber in front of them.

Seeing Rachel walk forward without the slightest hesitation, Sheila followed suit. Don't doubt; just believe. Sometimes you have to take a gamble and satisfy a man's vanity by showing a little trust.

Chapter 441: Alex's Daughter

Krauser, whose left hand could not be restored, was quickly discharged from the Navy SEALs. Krauser was currently preparing to report to a regular military base.

Krauser, judged to be disabled, looked hatefully at the Navy SEALs headquarters. He would get his revenge one day.

Javier, the great drug lord, was eliminated, and his daughter was rescued. However, the news about Hilda did not leak out; no one knew that Hilda, who had supposedly died more than ten years ago, was actually still alive.

Although Simmons really wanted to get Manuela for research, he dared not offend Eddie. Having Javier's corpse available for study was still very beneficial for perfecting the Pupa Virus.

This Modified Veronica Virus focused heavily on infectivity. Its activity at room temperature was astonishing.

Looking at the small, twisted section of pitch-black tentacle in front of him, this was the Uroboros Virus collected during the battle. It didn't look as unsolvable as Uroboros itself.

The reason for collecting it was to learn more about new types of viruses.

A month later, Goddess Island welcomed a new life. Alex's forehead was damp with sweat, her blonde hair clinging to her temples, giving her a tragic beauty.

Giving birth was a very painful experience, but upon seeing her daughter, Alex felt it was all worth it. She finally had a perfect life and her own child. "Husband, what should we name the baby?"

Eddie thought for a moment. "How about Elaine? I'm not very good at naming things."

Alex nodded. "Simple is better. I hope she grows up happy and doesn't have to bear too many burdens."

"Of course. You rest for a bit; I'll take good care of the baby," Eddie said, smiling. Watching the stunning Alex give birth to his child made his vanity nearly explode.

Alex rolled her eyes at the man and handed the baby to Cindy. "I don't trust you one bit. Cindy, I'll trouble you."

Eddie rubbed his nose, feeling a bit depressed. He really wasn't very good at taking care of children.

Ada was also smiling on the side, holding her daughter Jordana. She was happy to see this scene of the family enjoying themselves. "Little darling, you'll have a lot of pressure later on. You'll have to look after all your younger sisters."

The little one let out a small sigh and continued to sleep soundly, looking extremely cute.

They could probably open a kindergarten on the island now, right? Fortunately, Katherine was a teacher, so there was no need to worry about others being surprised by the rapidly growing size of their daughters.

In order to conceal and protect their daughters, Jill and Wolf Mother, who worked outside, had to send their children back. The daughters changed daily, their intelligence and height growing proportionally. To prevent outsiders from treating the girls like monsters, it was better to bring them back.

On the beach, Manuela, who had just completed her treatment, was sitting here sunbathing with her mother Hilda. The climate here was similar to the Amazon Rainforest, the difference being that the ants here were controlled, and there were no other creatures on the island.

It was as if the animals and plants here were controlled by someone; Alexia was the Queen of the Island.

Only Alexia possessed this control ability; it was her unique power. It was fundamentally impossible to replicate the original version of the Veronica Virus again.

"Mom, this place is wonderful." Manuela looked at the sun, radiating a long-lost smile.

Hilda's beautiful eyes narrowed slightly. "We must repay Eddie. He is a good man."

"I know. I will work hard. Eddie's daughters also need someone to look after them," Manuela said, her face blooming into a smile. Interacting with children suited her best.

For someone pure and flawless, let her remain pure, staying home to assist her husband and teach their children.

Eddie hummed a tune. His recent life had been quite good; sometimes he could even "flip cards" at night. This kind of life couldn't be bought with money.

Alex walked in wearing high heels, still tall and beautiful. After ten months of pregnancy, her figure hadn't changed at all. "Husband, Albert sent me a message. Stewart received the information and wants to meet me to discuss some issues concerning Spencer."

"Are you going to see him?" Eddie raised an eyebrow.

Alex sat primly on the sofa. "Of course not. You go in my place. He's somewhat capable, but rather arrogant. I will stay here, assisting my husband and teaching our daughter, and continue researching the T-Phobos Virus. I believe this virus can lead us to another qualitative change."

Since the Goddess had spoken, how could Eddie refuse? "I can go, but I want a reward!"

Alex raised her delicate eyebrows, grabbed the man's collar, and said, "Alright, I've been holding back for a long time. It's time to teach you a lesson!" After speaking, she dragged Eddie off to the lounge.

Eastern Slav Republic in Eastern Europe—this was Svetlana's hometown. Svetlana was currently resting on Goddess Island during her pregnancy and didn't have the energy to focus on this area. With the birth of her daughter, her energy would also be consumed, leaving her no time to look after other matters.

In the cities of Eastern Slav Republic, the area was similar to cities in developed countries, ruled by oligarch groups composed of the region's wealthy elite.

In a Western restaurant, Eddie was sitting in a private room on the second floor, eating steak, while Jessica, Lisa, and Hilda stood behind him. Hilda, like Jessica originally, preferred to be with Eddie.

Manuela would be very safe on Goddess Island, so Hilda felt reassured. To repay Eddie, she proudly became a bodyguard, a twenty-four-hour personal bodyguard.

A man wearing sunglasses and a suit, with a slicked-back blonde hairstyle, walked in, heading directly toward the private room. He turned and tossed a tip to the waiter.
