The cameras at the Chemical Factory were aimed at the surroundings, and nearby television channels were also hacked to broadcast the disaster.
Nikolai walked up to the Russian soldiers.
The soldiers immediately raised their guns. "Stop, hands up!"
Nikolai raised his hands level with his shoulders. "You have all forgotten that this is all a conspiracy by the Federal Agent. They are spreading a new type of virus on our territory and using our citizens to test its effects."
Bromski stepped forward. "Mr. Nikolai, you are under arrest. You can save anything you have to say for the court."
Nikolai shook his head. "It seems you don't even know your own place, you low-level humans. Umbrella isn't destroying the world; it is making the world evolve."
"This is the gospel for all mankind. Do you think this is a disaster? Those who adapt to the T-Virus can gain greater strength, longer life, and stronger physiques. This is the evolution of humanity. How can you see it as a disaster?"
"Stupid humans, today I will show you what true evolved humans look like!" Nikolai clapped his hands.
A tall figure appeared, muscles bulging. With every step, the sound of steel plates colliding echoed on the ground.
After this figure appeared, the BSAA members waiting for reinforcement here all exclaimed, "Richard!"
This person was the missing member who had previously investigated the biochemical attack incident in the Amazon Rainforest. No one expected him to reappear.
Richard still had a crew cut and clear eyes, not looking controlled. He was much taller than before, standing a full two meters high.
"Kill them!" Nikolai said, dropping a smoke bomb before disappearing.
Upon receiving the order, Richard took out the submachine gun from his back and instantly moved aside at extreme speed. Hiding behind a steel barrier, he used the submachine gun to accurately kill all the soldiers present.
Sirens blared loudly, and helicopters in the sky began providing support using large-caliber machine guns.
Unexpectedly, a Stinger Missile flew in from afar. The pilot desperately tried to dodge but was still hit, causing the helicopter to explode in mid-air.
A hideous-looking Nemesis appeared, viewing the soldiers below whether Russian soldiers, BSAA, or FBC members all as targets within its kill zone.
"Legion, attack!" Bromski shouted into the walkie-talkie.
The ground began to shake. Twenty heavy tanks drove over from a distance, firing shells as they advanced. They instantly blasted the Nemesis standing on the water tower into fragments that fell to the ground!
Indeed, flesh and blood had no way to contend with a steel torrent.
All of this was broadcast on television channels. Countless citizens watched the scene, roaring excitedly; seeing the damned monster killed was truly thrilling.
Soon, the Talos Tyrant, known as the King of the Battlefield, appeared. Carrying an Anti-tank Cannon over two meters long, it deployed ordnance towards the sky.
Anti-tank Landmines were placed one by one on the ground. At the same time, the Talos Tyrant began changing ammunition, loading offensive shells.
Boom! The shell fired by the tank flew over with whistling wind and scorching heat waves. The Talos Tyrant neither dodged nor flinched, using its massive left hand to forcefully swipe the shell, batting it away.
Bang! A water tower was hit by the shell, scattering water everywhere. The fact that the shell, which should have hit the Talos Tyrant, was deflected was utterly despair-inducing.
The citizens in front of their televisions were in an uproar. If it could withstand a tank shell, what could possibly defeat this kind of monster?
Chapter 468: Claire Speaking Up For Her Husband
"Honey, that Talos Tyrant is really powerful, isn't it? I think it will be hard to eliminate unless they deploy bombers." Jill watched the scene outside intently.
Not receiving a reply, Jill turned around and was instantly speechless. Her husband was still busy. At such a serious moment, couldn't he focus on something proper?
Wolf Mother chuckled, "It will take at least half an hour. Let's just watch the show." Karena was already accustomed to, and even slightly indulged, her husband's unreliable behavior.
The massive battle outside was still underway. The Talos Tyrant demonstrated its power as a top-tier Tyrant.
It moved flexibly, carrying a five-ton cannon as if it weighed nothing. It knew how to use cover to evade attacks and switched between different weapons based on the battle situation.
Bullets only sparked harmlessly against its armor, unable to penetrate the defense. Even if one miraculously hit the eye, the entire head was covered in steel, and the eye area had bulletproof glass that could not be pierced.
An asymmetrical slaughter began. The Talos Tyrant was so agile that even tanks couldn't keep up. If a tank failed to turn in time, it was struck by a shell.
The shells were precisely calculated, flying directly down the tank's barrel, causing the tank to explode with one shot. The visual effect was stunning.
Both the Russian commanders and the citizens watching on television felt a wave of powerlessness. This kind of monster was truly unstoppable by humans; it was too difficult, almost despair-inducing.
A bomber squadron dispatched by the Air Force Base appeared, using precise bombing techniques to blast a Talos Tyrant hiding behind a large water tower into the air.
While still airborne, it was hit by a second missile, resulting in its steel armor being shattered.
A third missile followed immediately, blowing the Tyrant directly into two halves. The upper half fell in front of the Chemical Factory's Electronic Control Room, and the other half landed in a burning fire pit.
Chris and Rachel's group, who were beneath the Chemical Factory, finally arrived at the Main Control Room, only to find nothing. The files were burned, and the computers contained no data, having all been formatted. Their trip was in vain!
The sound of footsteps approached, and Chris raised his gun in alert.
The ones who appeared were Agent Leon and his partner Kevin. "Don't shoot, we're friendly."
"Leon? Why are you here?" Chris asked suspiciously.
"We received news that someone was planning to kidnap the President's Daughter, so we rushed over to investigate. We found that Sergei had connections with the Greyhound Organization; that terrorist organization is preparing a secret conspiracy attack!" Leon explained.
Since someone else's daughter was involved, this matter became very tricky.
"Did you find any evidence?" Rachel asked, crossing her arms, exuding mature femininity.
"No, but we found some partial information. Sergei had communication with Umbrella Traitor William Birkin. Their evacuation point is on an island in the South Pacific!" Kevin stated seriously.
"That's like looking for a needle in a haystack. The Pacific Ocean is huge; who knows which island it is on?" Rachel scoffed.
Just as everyone was discussing, the ground began to shake, indicating a battle was taking place above.
Rachel received a message and frowned. "There's a battle raging above. The Talos Tyrant is up there, and this place might collapse. We need to leave quickly."
Right after she spoke, they heard the Self-destruct Sequence begin its countdown. The group hurriedly started to evacuate.
Rachel and Sheila evacuated very quickly, far ahead of the others. Both women had been enhanced and had teamed up many times to fight Eddie, only to be defeated and rendered unable to walk for a day.
By the time Rachel and the others reached the surface, the Underground Laboratory had started exploding. Only one unlucky person was caught by a zombie while leaving; a wave of fire rushed over, instantly turning him into barbecue.
After escaping the Underground Laboratory, the buildings on the surface had also been mostly destroyed.
On the snowy ground, more than ten tanks lay scattered, bombed into paralysis, along with the wreckage of three helicopters. Even two Fighter Jets had been shot down, showing how intense the battle was.
A massive, forty-meter-tall Mountain of Flesh Monster appeared before them. This was the Nemesis Parasite, which had been blown to pieces, beginning to mutate by frantically devouring corpses.
It had devoured the corpse of a Talos Tyrant, and combined with the new T-Abyss Virus infection, this resulted in the mutation.
The Nemesis, now a hybrid of two viruses, became even more ferocious. Its command was to kill all living things it saw and devour everything it could consume.
Chris was preparing to detour to meet up with the troops when he saw his sister, Claire, around the corner.
