Chapter 287 - 287

"It's alright, none of this is a problem. I can help you solve it," Eddie said with a wicked smile.

Aunt Beatrice was silent for a moment. "You are a good person. I'm a bit drunk. Can you help me to my room? I won't see you out. Just close the door for me later."

"Of course, I'd be delighted. Later, I still need to visit the family of another colleague. If I have time, let's have dinner together tomorrow," Eddie said with a wicked smile, like a weasel, nobody knew what he was plotting.

Four hours later, Eddie brought Jessica and Lisa to another small Western-style house. This was Richard's home. Richard was killed while investigating a Black market merchant in the Amazon Rainforest, leaving behind only a three-year-old daughter and a beautiful wife.

At Foster's house, Aunt Beatrice slowly woke up and looked at a business card next to her. It had a phone number, which was Eddie's contact information.

Ding-dong, Eddie pressed the doorbell. "I'm Eddie, Richard's colleague. I'm here on behalf of BSAA and TerraSave to deliver some things to you."

Soon, a blonde, blue-eyed white woman opened the door, a typical beauty from the European and American federations. Her skin was very fair, and her expression was a bit wary. "May I see your ID?"

Eddie showed his ID and the gifts. Only then did the beautiful white woman relax, apologizing, "Sorry, Richard always told me to be careful, for fear that someone might seek revenge."

"It's never wrong to be careful. This is a gift for you. I hope it helps you," Eddie handed over a box of supplies, which contained some cash.

"Thank you. Please come in for a cup of tea. Let me thank you. You are too thoughtful," the white woman said with a sweet smile.

Their fingertips brushed against each other inadvertently. The woman took the business card, nodded with a serious expression, "I will. My name is Cameron. If I need anything, I'll call you."

"Then that's all for now. Don't be shy, you can't handle this kind of thing alone. Oh, by the way, do you have a boyfriend?" Eddie suddenly asked.

Cameron smiled and shook her head. "No, being alone is fine. I still have a daughter to raise and I don't want to bring her a bad father."

"You are a great mother, and you are very beautiful. I'm leaving now. Contact me if anything happens," Eddie waved his hand, preparing to leave.

"Then can I not contact you if nothing happens?" Cameron suddenly asked.

Eddie was a bit surprised, he didn't expect to be approached by a woman! "Of course, but remember to bring your ID card."

Cameron chuckled, leaning against the door. "Why?"

"Because you need an ID card to open a hotel room, haha, just kidding. Oh, by the way, this is the weapon I've always used. I'll give it to you for self-defense. Here are two boxes of bullets, that should be enough for you. Call me anytime if you have any news," Eddie handed over the pistol, then waved his hand and left coolly.

The reason he didn't stay was entirely because Aunt Beatrice had put him into'saint mode,' making him completely uninterested in beautiful women. At least until he recovered, he didn't feel much for pretty women.

Back in his apartment on English Island, Jill had already returned home and prepared dinner, still busy in the kitchen, seemingly stewing soup.

Only Wolf Mother Ruper sniffed, her expression a bit strange, and pointed to the bathroom, "You should go clean yourself up first."

This was said very subtly. The perfume scent on him was clearly not one that the women she knew would use. Wolf Mother wouldn't mind, but Jill, she wasn't so sure.

A month later, during this period, both the European Union and Tsarist Russia were searching for Umbrella's traces. Foster's case last time proved the evidence that the virus could strengthen the human body, all of which were Umbrella's experimental results. Finding Umbrella would lead to relevant data.

This news was also known to the family. After a series of concessions and dirty deals, they also obtained Foster's remains, making good progress in their longevity plan.

Eddie no longer provided data but continued to immerse himself in his fear experiments.

On Goddess Island, the mature woman Ada had returned. Every half month, she would come back, rest for half a month, and work for half a month.

With his daughter here, Eddie wasn't worried about Ada running away. Women, once they have children, easily become devoted.

Alex, wearing high heels and a pristine white women's suit, stood with her arms crossed in front of the laboratory. There was also an instrument on her left wrist that detected heart rate power, used to try and fuse with the fear virus.

Queen Alexia was undergoing fear detection in her room. This time, the room had been reinforced. Frightened by the horror movie, Alexia was constantly flailing at the air, trying to ward off the terrifying things.

Eddie watched from outside, feeling a bit comical. "You guys try once a day?"

Alex shook her head, a playful smile on her lips. "Of course not. We only try when you're home. If we lose control, aren't you still here?"

"What do you take me for, woman!" Eddie pretended to be fierce and leaned closer.

Alex gently stroked the golden hair by her ear, exuding an intellectual and mature charm. "Of course, a professional doctor. What else did you think? A tool? We wouldn't treat our husband as a tool."

The aura and composure of the strong woman left Eddie stunned. This was his wife!

Twenty minutes later, Alexia turned off the instrument herself and walked out. Her eyes were red, and she grabbed Eddie and walked towards the medical lounge. "Help me stabilize."

Eddie was a bit helpless. He was almost becoming a firefighter. "Jessica, why don't you try? Don't worry, if you have any problems, just come find me!"

Jessica nodded and walked into the fear test chamber in high heels. She put on the instrument helmet, her expression unperturbed.

This was Jessica's first time undergoing the test, and the duration she lasted surprised Alex. So far, she had the best score, able to last half an hour. Any longer, and Alex would feel nauseous and want to vomit.

Two hours later, Eddie returned to the laboratory with goji berry water, humming a tune. Jessica's test was still ongoing, and her expression remained stable from beginning to end.

Alex monitored Jessica's heart rate in front of the computer and found that this sister had maintained a very calm state of mind from the beginning. No matter what horror movie it was, it couldn't scare her. This was a realistic, immersive environment; normal people would be afraid!

After five hours of extreme testing, Jessica remained unmoved.

When the test ended, Eddie walked in and helped Jessica, noticing a trace of happy smile flash in the beautiful eyes of the female bodyguard. "What's wrong, Jessica? Are you alright!"

Jessica shook her head, gently stroking the man's hair and head, and softly said, "I'm fine, don't worry, I'm very well. I'm so happy to see you again, Eddie, I love you."

This sudden confession truly made Eddie feel a bit flattered. "I love you too, Jessica, don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. We will live a very, very long time together, don't worry, let's go, it's time for dinner."

"Husband, I want to have a child with you, what do you think?" Jessica said, shaking her head.

Eddie stopped in his tracks and smiled, "Of course, that's up to fate. We're still young. We can live a long time, it's alright, everything is normal."

Outside the laboratory, Alex looked at Jessica with a beaming smile. "Your psychological fortitude is truly formidable. Perhaps this is the benefit of your simplicity. Living only for one man is very interesting."

"Thank you," Jessica's expression returned to calm. Only when facing Eddie would she display her feminine charm and smile; at other times, she was cold to everyone, perhaps with the exception of Lisa.

Chapter 473: Aunt Wei's Immortality Virus

Alex rolled her eyes, a very playful expression, and lifted the man's chin. "You, you're such a little husband. I'm not as foolish as you imagine, I know my limits."

After dinner, Eddie yawned. Today's continuous battles had made him a bit sleepy. However, after dinner, his physical strength had fully recovered, he just felt a bit sore in his lower back.

Jessica softly said, "Husband, do you need my help with that fear experiment? I think I can do it."

Eddie shook his head, "No, unless I've tried it first, I won't let you take the risk."

"Alright, I was just suggesting," Jessica said, then returned to her original position, resuming her bodyguard duties.

The next day, Eddie received a call from his wife, Sienna. "Good morning, wife, is something wrong?"

Sienna was on an island, preparing to leave. "I've found Umbrella's hiding island. I've already sent you the coordinates, and I copied a copy of the data."

"Are you alright? This will be very dangerous!" Eddie immediately sat up.

Sienna giggled, "I'm fine, Caroline came with me. Those idiots couldn't find us at all. They are using the local residents to develop this island. This is Umbrella's new biochemical weapon production island, perhaps you can use it for something."
