Chapter 301 - 301

Half a month later, Eddie hummed a tune. He had invested in the Nordic region, building a huge aviation base there for aerospace industry research and development.

It was purely an investment with no expectation of return, as he had reached a certain level of wealth. Every region was scrambling for this kind of investment, which could also employ local residents and increase tax revenue. Why wouldn't they want it?

This was Alexia's plan; she was establishing a path of retreat for her family. By inventing a spaceship capable of long-distance travel, they would have a way to leave in case anything happened.

Preparing for a rainy day—that made some sense. But in Eddie's opinion, his wife was simply bored and looking for something to occupy herself with.

After returning to Goddess Island, Ada could no longer leave, not because she was pregnant with her second child, but because she had to prepare to pass the T-Phobos Test. Following Lisa, Alex successfully passed the T-Phobos experiment.

The final scene was suicide, and the sensation of a bullet piercing her head felt incredibly real. For a split second, Alex even thought she had died.

Eddie's figure quickly flashed through her mind, reminding Alex of the moments she shared with her husband. Furthermore, the face of her daughter, Elaine, appeared. Everything made Alex feel warm; the power of familial love uplifted her, allowing her to overcome her inner fear through sheer willpower.

Thus, Alex became the fourth person to pass the T-Phobos challenge. She was even faster than Alexia, and at the final moment, she injected a dose of the T-Phobos Virus, successfully becoming stronger—it was as simple as eating and drinking.

She became younger, more attractive, and had a better figure. Her physical functions were perfect; even if her internal organs were hit head-on by a large truck traveling at 300 kilometers per hour, she would not sustain significant damage.

The enhancement was perfect; even her ability to bear children was unharmed. Alex could even feel that if she didn't want a child, she definitely wouldn't get pregnant.

The enhancement provided by the T-Phobos Virus varied from person to person, always strengthening the areas that were already strong.

Alex's success also stirred Ada's competitive spirit. As the woman who had followed Eddie since Raccoon City, Ada did not want to fall behind others.

For a time, screams constantly echoed around Goddess Island.

Even if they were scared half to death, they had to persevere.

Eddie, meanwhile, was leisurely sunbathing on the beach, enjoying his carefree time.

The next step of the experiment was to research how to achieve infinite cell division without losing sanity and while maintaining a perfect physical form.

Annette's tests showed that when cancer cells replicated to a certain stage, they would become unconscious entities. They would divide purely for reproduction and would no longer cause disease in humans at that point.

This division count was roughly ten billion times, a process that would take at least a thousand years.

In a thousand years, cancer could automatically cure itself. Was this news worth celebrating? A normal person was lucky to live to a hundred years old; a thousand years meant the cancer cells wouldn't die off, but the person would die first.

Eddie was not in a hurry to conduct the experiment; he planned to wait until Carla returned before starting the research.

A month later, Eddie hummed a tune while rubbing his waist. He had been a bit overworked lately. Being a man was exhausting!

Just then, the phone rang. Eddie waved his hand, and the phone automatically flew over.

It was Leon calling. "Eddie, it's Leon. We have a problem."

"Hey, I've been hiding at home for over a month now, I'm practically suffering from kidney deficiency. And you're telling me I have a problem? I haven't robbed a bank, so what trouble could I possibly be in?" Eddie complained.

Leon choked upon hearing this. Damn it, would this guy die if he didn't brag? With so many beautiful women accompanying him, any other man would happily shorten his life by twenty or even thirty years!

"I'm not kidding. The President's daughter disappeared just a week ago," Leon said seriously.

"And why should I care?" Eddie leaned back on the sofa. His daughter, Kailie, obediently walked over with breakfast, took out a cigarette for her father and lit it, and lit one for herself too.

"Witnesses reported that Ashley had previously gone looking for you. Now the President suspects you are involved in this matter," Leon said helplessly. He knew Eddie was innocent, but as an employee, his words carried little weight!

Jill yawned as she emerged from the bedroom. Seeing her daughter's actions, she immediately swore. "Oh, fuck. Kailie, why are you smoking!"

Kailie blinked her eyes and pointed her delicate finger at Eddie.

Eddie covered the phone. "Herbal cigarettes are harmless. Kailie promised me she wouldn't smoke outside cigarettes or accept cigarettes from strangers. Let her try it. If she tries it and doesn't like it, she won't smoke. Don't let her feel curious; guide her, don't yell at the child!"

Kailie leaned against Eddie, giggling. "Hehe, thank you, Boss. The Boss is always good to me. Hmph, Mom, I'm not a little kid anymore, stop being so fierce to me!"

Jill was speechless. Her daughter was only four or five years old, yet she already looked like an eighteen-year-old girl. If she called her a child, her daughter was already so tall. If she said her daughter wasn't a child, her age was clearly there. It was truly frustrating.

"Alright, but you need to control yourself and not make Mommy worry. Mommy can only be happy if you are safe, understood?" Jill said earnestly to her daughter. "Come on, Kailie, let's go eat over there. Don't bother your father while he's on the phone."

Chapter 493: Lisa's Heart Knot Confessed

"Someone is targeting me? Who?" Eddie frowned. His wives, like Ada, who were skilled at gathering intelligence, were currently undergoing the T-Phobos Test and didn't have time to investigate. The opponent took advantage of this opportunity to throw dirt on him; the timing was indeed perfect.

As for whether someone on his own side was targeting him, Eddie dismissed the thought immediately. It was impossible; neither Monica, whom he rescued from the research facility beneath the Arklay Mountains, nor Ms. Yaxi and Marguerite, whom he acquired along the way, would do such a thing.

Then there must be an unseen mastermind. Was it Spencer, or Simmons? Or perhaps Wesker?

It seemed anyone was possible, yet no one was possible.

"I understand. When do we leave? I will go with you," Eddie asked.

"Within the next couple of days. I have an informant who said he saw traces of Ashley in the suburbs of a kingdom on the Iberian Peninsula," Leon said.

"Then I'll wait for your news. Call me when the time comes, give me the coordinates, and I'll head over," Eddie said, hanging up the phone and tapping his fingers on the table.

The bedroom door opened, and Alex, like Jill, walked out yawning and sleepy-eyed, exuding a lazy, charming, mature aura. "Good morning, Husband. I can tell by your expression that something happened. Tell me about it, and I'll give you some advice."

Alex, strengthened by the virus, didn't even need to brush her teeth, and naturally, she had no bad breath. This small change saved a lot of trouble. It sounded incredible, but the virus was truly that powerful.

"Good morning, Auntie. I made a serving of breakfast for you too!" Kailie said, pointing to the large amount of food on the dining table.

Alex smiled brightly. "Thank you, darling. I'll eat later. Could you get me a cup of black tea?"

"Purified water is better in the morning!" Kailie snapped her fingers, and a glass of water automatically flew over.

Jill was surprised. "Kailie, when did you learn that trick?"

"Hehe, I learned it a long time ago. Dad taught me. Hmph, unlike you, you're busy working all day and never spend time with me," Kailie protested discontentedly.

Jill felt a little guilty. She gently stroked her daughter's blonde hair and said, "Darling, Mommy will spend time with you every day from now on. I'm sorry."

"Oh, it's not necessary. We'd get tired of being together every day. Just spend time with me when you can. Work is endless, and Dad makes money to support us anyway, so what are you afraid of?" Kailie said, grinning.

"You, ah, won't say that once you get married," Jill said with a smile, her beautiful eyes showing reluctance.

Kailie raised her head proudly. "No way! I'm not going to marry anyone. I'll live with Daddy, Mommy, and the Aunties forever. Those smelly men outside, I feel sick just looking at them."

Eddie overheard this and chuckled secretly. It seemed Alexia's and Excella's education was effective. They needed to show their daughters what scumbags looked like so they wouldn't be deceived.

Marrying off his daughters was impossible; he would never marry them off in this lifetime. His daughters were so filial, it would be a pity to marry them out. Freedom in singlehood, long live being single!

Two days later, Eddie arrived at the Iberian Peninsula with Lisa. Jessica did not come because the usually inseparable Jessica was pregnant and stayed behind on Goddess Island due to her pregnancy.

Since Jessica couldn't come, Lisa accompanied him. It was the same either way; all he needed was companionship and assistance, and he didn't actually need them to protect him.

In the past, Eddie genuinely relied on Jessica and Lisa for protection, but now he didn't need to; he could handle an entire elite legion force by himself.

The meeting point was a coastal city, filled with numerous hot women wearing bikinis. Women from these developed regions were truly bold, always courageous enough to show off their beauty.
