Chapter 307 - 307

Eddie Cai nodded proudly, "Of course not. I can guarantee that point."

The three arrived at the castle hall, where an iron gate had just dropped, sealing off the surroundings.

On the second floor of the castle, five meters above the ground, a short, dark, chubby man—ahem, a short man whose face was covered in wrinkles and who was dressed in ancient noble attire—walked out.

Following him were two two-meter-tall bodyguards. Judging by their appearance hidden beneath their hoods, these two fellows were merely human-like monsters.

"Welcome to my territory, Mr. Eddie Cai." The dwarf wearing a pirate hat said in an arrogant tone.

"Don't mention it, shorty!" Eddie Cai took out a cigarette and lit it.

"Hmph! You are just as arrogant as the Pontiff described. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ramon Salazar. The Eighth Generation Head of the Family, and the master of this castle. You came to my territory, used my things, and beat my men. Do you think that's the end of it?" Salazar scoffed.

"Kid, I don't have time to play with you here. Look at yourself, you're already like this at such a young age. Aside from the sequelae and complications caused by your inbreeding, watching adult films every day isn't doing you any good either. I suggest you jump down now and die in front of me." Eddie Cai blew smoke rings.

"You hateful fellow! You need to understand that standing before you is the great Lord Salazar! How dare you speak to me like that? Do you want to die? Go, kill him for me! Let him witness the power of my Right Hand, ah haha!" Salazar finished speaking and left with his Left Hand.

The Right Hand was a guard wearing a red robe, holding a spear used by ancient soldiers.

It leaped down, landing in front of Eddie Cai, emitting an insect chirp, and charging forward at extreme speed.

Ashley was terrified, lowering her head and covering her eyes.

Eddie Cai, however, stepped forward directly, delivering a punch that sent the Right Hand flying.

The Right Hand, having been struck, screamed once, its clothing tearing apart to reveal its true form: a bipedal humanoid insect, possibly mixed with human DNA, possessing an extremely hideous appearance.

The area struck by Eddie Cai was covered in thick carapace, which was now cracked. This carapace, which could originally withstand a sniper rifle, couldn't endure a single punch from Eddie Cai.

It was unclear whether Eddie Cai was too strong or if the Right Hand was too weak.

The enraged Right Hand began screaming, calling for the surrounding Cultists to come out.

These Cultists all had pale skin, seemingly having become afraid of Daylight after being infected by the Plaga.

The Cultists carried ancient weapons, shields, flails, and so on. Their ranged weapon was the crossbow bolt; they seemed unfamiliar with modern weaponry.

Lisa snorted, stomping her high heel on the floor, causing invisible sound waves to spread out.

These pale-skinned Cultists roared, each one displaying extreme agitation. It was as if they had encountered something that made them anxious and uneasy, and soon the Las Plagas parasites inside their bodies ruptured.

Dying inside the body, the Cultists connected to them also perished together.

Their central nervous systems were connected to the Plaga; when the parasite died, they died. If they died, the parasite could still escape quickly, and if it found a host to parasitize before death, it wouldn't perish.

Sensing the sound waves that could kill it, the Right Hand roared, immediately retreated into the castle, vanishing without a trace, and began using sneak attacks instead of frontal combat.

Ashley exclaimed again, "This... you're so amazing, Eddie Cai!"

Eddie Cai continued smoking his cigarette. Even after exchanging a punch with the Right Hand, he remained calm and composed. "It's not that I'm amazing, it's Lisa's credit."

Lisa was expressionless. She stepped forward in her high heels and kicked open the tightly shut door, which was the path leading into the castle interior.

As soon as they entered, they saw several Parasitic Hounds charging toward them. Lisa extended her delicate hand, slightly clenching her fingers tipped with purple-black nail polish.

The sound waves reappeared, crushing the five Parasitic Hounds into fragments using air pressure!

Sound waves were Lisa's weapon, which she wielded with the same proficiency as Jessica. Strictly speaking, Lisa was even stronger. She could even promote her own evolution by consuming different bio-weapons, but she didn't feel the necessity, as she didn't want to become a monster.

This left Ashley, who was following behind, completely stunned. She had been feeling uneasy about her rash decision to join Eddie Cai's team. But at this moment, it was clear she had hit the jackpot!

However, when she thought about the rule forbidding her from having a boyfriend for a hundred years, Ashley rolled her eyes slightly. She could easily tell that the only person not restricted by this rule was Eddie Cai.

In other words, anything Eddie Cai did to her was permissible.

Ashley had no complaints; instead, she felt this was great. She would gain as much as she gave.

"Eddie Cai, can I become as strong as Lisa?" Ashley asked longingly.

"Of course. You can become as strong as her. Lisa won't stand still; by the time you catch up to her, her strength will be even greater than it is now," Eddie Cai said proudly.

"Then I look forward to it!" Ashley smiled brightly, linking arms with Eddie Cai, and walked step by step into the castle interior.

Chapter 501: The Consequences of Playing with a Pistol

Meanwhile, the BSAA had taken over global bio-terrorism attacks. After receiving news from the Western Federation, Chris also brought his people to the Iberian Peninsula, accompanied by another squad.

Chris led the Alpha Team, Sheva led the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance Team, and Josh was from Team C.

These were the current BSAA elite. Especially since they knew the whereabouts of the mastermind, these people, although affiliated with the United Nations, still had to strive to carry out the rescue.

Chris had always been strongly opposed to bio-weapons, and since there were rumors that his brother-in-law was involved this time, he rushed over immediately.

Leon and Kevin were still waiting here, while Alfred was hiding. He did not belong to the Special Service Group but was participating as Leon's friend.

The group gathered in the village. Chris quickly saw Dury, who had been burned until only half of him remained, and Enrico, who was only a head. "They were all killed in action?"

Leon held their dog tags. "Yes, the villagers here are very strange. They can distinguish outsiders and actively launch attacks. The Village Chief in this village is extremely strong, similar to the Tyrant we encountered previously. Submachine guns cause him no damage; he is incredibly powerful and can actively mutate into a monster!"

Chris and the others watched the previously recorded combat footage, a necessary measure when encountering new bio-weapons, allowing them to observe the monsters' weaknesses via video.

Sheva asked, "Where is Eddie Cai? Where did Eddie Cai go?"

"We are here to rescue Miss Ashley, the President's daughter. Eddie Cai has already rescued her, but he said that Ashley was injected with the parasite, which could lead to the host being controlled, so it must be removed as soon as possible." Kevin handed over the collected documents.

Boom! At that moment, a rocket launcher shot down the helicopter circling in the air.

Fortunately, only the tail was hit, and after an emergency landing, there wouldn't be too many casualties.

"What's going on?" Chris asked.

Bang! A sniper rifle shot rang out. A heroic young man used the sniper rifle to shoot the attacking villager in the head, killing him. "There are surviving villagers attacking the helicopter."

"Are we sure they are all controlled, parasitic villagers? Is there any way to save them?" Chris also found it difficult. If they killed so many villagers, it would be impossible to justify.

At this moment, Eddie Cai's phone rang. "Where are you? I have the Church of Light's experimental research data here. Hurry up and come to the castle behind the village. That noble is crazy; he's raising a lot of monsters in the castle, and I can't kill them all."

"Eddie Cai! Are you alright? Can these villagers still be saved? They are attacking us furiously!" Chris asked loudly.

"I'm perfectly fine; I wouldn't let Claire become a widow. They are beyond saving; they have already merged with the parasites. Hurry over; there are plenty of merits waiting for you here. Also, there's something wrong with that lake, so you'd better be careful." Eddie Cai hung up the phone after speaking.

Having received confirmation from Eddie Cai, the soldiers could now slaughter them without worry. Villagers? They were nothing more than monsters who could say, 'Despicable outsider.'

Soon, the group passed through the church and arrived at the large lake behind it. This lake was as large as fifty standard international football fields.

One soldier discovered many small fish along the shore; it was already approaching dusk.

While the others were looking for a boat, this soldier was using his small pistol to continuously shoot at the small fish, hoping to have some fresh grilled fish.
