Red blood smeared the log as a large pool of blood filled the ground. The mouth of the enraged man gaped open as his body trembled like a fish devoid of water.
"How...could...this be? I am going to killed by a mere teen?! Even when I slaughtered ...so many"
The abomination stared directly at the boy hoping to find joy and hope gained by killing him.
But,
There was nothing in those dark pearls. There was nothing, absolute nothingness. The boy stared at him and gritted his teeth.
"Ah... "
Before he could say anything, the last flicker of life left his body. His lips turned into a crooked smile replaying Relief... and regret.
Silence prevailed in the tense environment for a long time.
Everyone was speechless and moreover, petrified. The young girl was expecting to turn into fleshy goo but nothing happened.
Her boyish hair swayed slightly as water dripped from her chin. Her eyes contracted as the sight before her wasn't what she expected.
There in the rain,
Stood the young boy drenched
And,
Corpse of the monster that slaughtered almost all of them.

The woman's face became deadly pale as bead of sweat made it's way through the chin.
Her fingers dug into her palm as she bit her lip.
"What are you doing?! Kill the insect!!!"
The loud and thunderous shout of their master ejected them from their trance as a soldier readied her weapons. Her eyes burning full of fury and hatred
But to whom?
Towards the young boy that was trying to survive?
Regardless, she marched with the same emotions but with a little pity in them. She swung her axe into a ready position.
'Don't falter...'
#
The boy stood deep in thought, his long hair hiding his eyes.
Standing over the corpse of the man the young teen did nothing. He wasn't aware that he was going to die soon.
He had killed a man... not indirectly but he instigated it. By his own plan. He expected to feel resentment and anger but didn't.
The feeling was strangely hypnotic and euphoric as the nameless one felt himself succumbing to the primal desire to kill his enemies.
The rain had stopped considerably.
The sound of something heavy being lifted merged with resonance of breathing.
As the axe was flung down something happened.
The female warrior stopped as a bead of cold sweat fell down on to the ground. It was like as if an invisible barrier stopped her, restricting any kind of movement.
Others seemed to feel it to, the expression of every soldier mortified, their fists clenched.
The noble woman felt it too, but she started to tremble... very much so.
On the top of the mansion, a large figure was seen,
A Draconic type creature was levitating in the sky, it's red ruby eyes seemingly capable of piercing any illusion or treachery glowed as the sunlight revealed the silhouette.
The draconic creature had beautiful black scales weaving into a beautiful pattern. The head closely resembled a dragon but the body showed a mix of a tiger and a horse. Radiant and white strands of hair covered the neck area as a strange symbol was etched on the forehead of the creature.
The woman grew deathly pale as she started to suffocate. Other soldiers also shared the same fate but with less impact.
"I've seen what you were doing. Care to explain?"
The voice of the creature sounded feminine and gentle like a flowing river, but the woman started to stutter. The head butler was visibly shaken and flinched after hearing the voice of the beast.
"H-hail! the lady of the south, Black dragon!"
All the warriors present in the courtyard knelt down in an orderly manner, one after another all singing the same chant.
The Beast looked annoyed as it's eyes glowed even redder.
Suddenly, The head butler beside the noble lady burst like a balloon, literally. Mist of blood rose as hot blood painted the fabric of the woman red.
The nameless one didn't pay any attention to what was happening after him because something else gripped his heart.
Fragmented memories of Someone's life entered through his mind like a storm.

"Mommy? What is that necklace?"
A child playfully climbed on her mother's shoulders.
"It is my gift to you for your birthday! Never give it to others okay?"
The child gleamed and pinched her mother's cheeks.
Again,
The memories replayed again and again and again.
The same mother was lying on the ground wearing a bloodied and battered armor that was made of black adamantine. The steel cuisse was torn on one side. The smell of burned wood and flesh filled the air.
She limped over and laid down exhaling turbid air as her breathing became hoarser.
A girl was beside her, weeping uncontrollably as she held her mother's arms.
"My girl.. don't ever take off the necklace."
The entire life of the mother... or the necklace replayed over and over never stopping.
Sometimes, he was on the market as the girl was shopping.
When the girl was bullied,
When the mother went into battle,
When the girl played in the garden
and much much more.
It felt like he lived through a life... through the necklace thousands of time. The boy had started to forget who he really was and every time he went further and further.
He was almost convinced that he was a necklace... only supposed to follow it's master; the girl. Watching the mother and daughter die many times had broken his sanity even more so by the absurd number of battles the mother got into and how many frightening scars and wounds she received.
The one with no name had felt it every single time.
Every Battle, wound, defeat, win.
This was not something a normal human was supposed to endure much less a 15 year old boy.
Then he saw it.
The memory of Maya and the prisoner's time together in the mansion.
The suppressed memories had shown itself finally and with that he had remembered himself, the young boy standing the courtyard that had defeated the abomination.
The external memories and his real memories fought a bloody war in his mind.
One that was meant to destroy and one meant to save.
