Chapter 4 - The Royal Reunion

Siyam cleared his throat and continued:

"Back then, royal angels competed to reach the king's rank first. One genius prince, chosen by the king himself, was very close to completing his final mission. He would become king afterward. His name was Solis. He was very excited about his final mission. The Supreme God, however, had a much bigger plan.

The border between Heaven and Hell is called Oblivion. A small bridge leads to a gate of the Universe. People from Heaven and Hell usually ignored this place. Meanwhile, the Devil King's favorite princess, Amber, awaited her final mission to become queen. Their missions were opposite but connected to the Supreme God's order. They did not know who they would compete against."

Suddenly, the carriage shook violently as it hit something. They got out and were surprised to see the carriage stuck in a ditch.

Siyam:

"It is almost evening. Let's camp here tonight. Tomorrow morning we can continue."

Everyone agreed.

The camp was prepared. Siyam stood a little away, watching the sunset, thinking of Sameer. He once said that they would watch a sunset like this together, with no war, only peace.

Humaira stood beside him, quietly enjoying the view. Siyam muttered to himself:

"I don't know why I betrayed him back then."

Humaira wanted to comfort him but stayed quiet, knowing he still blamed himself for that day.

Once the camp was ready, everyone sat around the fire, urging Siyam to continue the story. Siyam was surprised at their curiosity about Sameer. He began to tell the story without overthinking.

"The Supreme God assigned the royal angel prince Solis and the devil princess Amber a mission - opposite tasks for opposite humans. Solis was to make Kyra fall in love with Jack. Amber was to make Jack hate Kyra. Neither knew who was working against them.

They went on their missions, and competition between them grew extremely fierce. Kyra loved Jack immensely, while Jack despised Kyra. Neither would give up. Yet, during the mission, the most unexpected thing happened - Solis and Amber began to fall in love with each other instead of focusing on their mission. Their love grew so strong that they forgot one was an angel and the other a devil.

They eventually lived among humans. Amber gave birth to a son, who was different from all others. Half angel, half devil. This had never happened before. They loved their child deeply. The child's body was not physical - no bones or flesh. His body was like black smoke, covered with angel wings and devil horns. Though he looked like a devil, his heart was as pure as an angel's. They named him Negate, the ray of light hidden within darkness."

Siyam looked around - everyone was asleep except Humaira. He was so absorbed in the story that he almost forgot the time. Humaira, still awake, whispered:

"I don't want to miss any part of Sameer's past."

Siyam smiled faintly and pulled her close, lying down beside her.

The next morning, sunlight woke Siyam. Birds chirped, and he enjoyed lying on the soft grass - something he hadn't done in years. Humaira gave him a light breakfast, and they continued their journey to the Royal Court.

Siyam stayed silent, thinking about Sameer. Humaira sensed this and did not ask questions.

After a while, they reached the palace. They were welcomed by servants and butlers.

A butler approached Humaira:

"Welcome, Princess Humaira. The King is waiting to meet you. And Hero Siyam, today you are our honored guest. The King calls you not as my son-in-law, but as the hero of the kingdom."

Siyam:

"Nice to meet you. I know why the King has summoned me. Perhaps he still cannot accept me as his son-in-law."

Humaira:

"I don't want to meet the King about this. My father will start talking about it."

The Queen herself arrived to see her only child. She hugged Humaira warmly. Everyone else lowered their heads in respect. The Queen smiled at Siyam and welcomed him inside.

Inside, Siyam's eyes turned slightly red as he saw…

A knight standing near the royal throne. Wearing the royal armor…

With a familiar smirk on his face.

Their eyes met for a moment -

And in that silence…

A war silently began.

The same person…

Siyam once wished to kill with his own hands.
