Humaira entered the room quietly. She looked at him with tired eyes.
Humaira:
"Will you never stop searching for him?"
She walked closer.
"Everything between you ended 150 years ago. Why are you still chasing him?"
Siyam didn't look at her.
Siyam:
"I did not betray him.... I never did."
His voice was low. And slowly clenched his fist.
"I only tried to stop him. If I didn't… nothing would be left today. I had no choice… but to kill him."
Humaira frowned.
Humaira:
"If you killed him… then why are you still searching for him like this?"
Siyam finally looked at her. His eyes were serious.
Siyam:
"Think about it… Someone who killed one hundred thousand Heavenly soldiers alone… The strongest man in the continent…"
He paused.
"Do you really think… someone like him would die that easily?"
Humaira stayed silent.
Siyam (slowly):
"You never saw Sameer… My power is nothing compared to him."
He looked down.
"He was a genius… Our leader… A quiet, kind boy…"
Humaira looked shocked.
Humaira:
"That doesn't sound like Sameer at all… Tell me everything."
Before Siyam could answer-
A bird suddenly landed near the window. The bird's eyes were glowing with a faint golden light, carrying the seal of the Royal Court. Siyam noticed something tied to its leg - a letter. He picked it up and began reading.
Humaira, noticing the seriousness on his face, stepped closer.
Humaira:
"Who sent it? And why?"
Siyam, looking surprised, said:
"The Royal Court has sent an urgent notice. It must be very important. Otherwise, they wouldn't call us like this. And the King knows we are not engaged in anything right now."
Humaira asked again, and Siyam hurriedly prepared to leave.
Siyam:
"If we leave now, we can reach the Royal Court by tomorrow morning without stopping to rest."
Humaira:
"Do I have to go with you too?"
Siyam:
"The letter says so. Let's go and see what is happening. They wouldn't call us for something ordinary."
Siyam and Humaira prepared and started their journey. On the way, Humaira asked about Sameer's past.
Siyam stayed silent for a moment, then spoke:
"Which Angel's blessing do you use? Which power are you using?"
Humaira:
"I am a healer, so I use the power of the 'Angel of Light' — Fira."
Siyam sighed:
"I know. I use the power of the 'Angel of Mischief' — Susan. But do you know which power Sameer used?"
Humaira shook her head:
"No, I don't know."
Siyam spoke with a slightly worried voice:
"Sameer used the power of a Demi-God called 'Negate.'"
Humaira could not understand the name. Siyam explained:
"Negate was not a full god. Not a devil, not an angel. He was not even supposed to exist. Yet, he was born."
Siyam looked outside at the sky.
"It looks like it might rain. We'll take a bit longer to reach if we wait. I will tell you what I know about Negate… Only what Sameer told me during our time together."
He continued:
"Before the Supreme God created everything, he made Heaven and Hell. Angels and Devils were given kingdoms. The powers we use today come from those angels.
Angels with
2 wings — normal angels
4 wings — strong angels
6 wings — soldiers
8 wings — commanders
10 wings — royal angels
12 wings — Angel King
The same hierarchy exists for Devils, but their strength comes from horns. Only those who complete 1,000 missions perfectly, without failure, can reach the royal rank. Even then, they must carry the king's power patiently. Otherwise, the rank cannot be obtained."
Humaira looked surprised:
"I knew some things, like the Light and Dark Swords, but not all of this."
Siyam smiled faintly:
"I didn't know either. Sameer was a treasure of knowledge. He told me all this during a mission. Now I am sharing his story with you. Actually… it all started with a mission that was never meant to happen."
