Yamanashi- Kyutetsu Middle School Classroom
Ding! Ding! Ding!
"That's the end of class remember those who haven't submitted their handout turn it in by tomorrow.....Oh what the hell who gives a damn, you all probably want to become heroes anyways." A tired looking teacher said with incredibly thick dark circles spoke before leaving the classroom.
As soon as the teacher left Shunji Torino became the middle of attention of all the students.
"Hey Shunji, you're applying for UA right?" A male students asked the boy named Shunji
"Isn't it obvious you idiot? Of course Shunji will be applying for UA! No other school is more worthy than UA!" A female student spoke with incredible eagerness about the topic.
"Hey, Shiketsu is just as good you know!" A dog faced boy said slightly agitated by the female students comments.
The whole classroom was filled with comments and arguments about what hero school Shunji likely applied for, before the boy named Shunji finally spoke up.
"Yeah, I decided to go to UA" The moment Shunji said those words the entire class cheered.
"I knew it!"
"You'll definitely pass Shunji!"
The whole class cheered encouragements for the boy
"Thanks for all your support everyone , I'll try my best to live up to your expectations, bye!" Shunji said with a small smile before he left the classroom.
After a while of running Shunji arrived in front of his home and entered inside.
"Oh you're back?" an short looking old man said while coming out of the kitchen. This man was Sorahiko Torino, a retired pro hero called Gran Torino.
"Yeah, I'm back grandpa" Shunji said before he quickly went to the kitchen to find a empty bag of frozen taiyaki. "Grandpa I keep telling you, you can't skip lunch for taiyaki!"
Gran Torino turned his head away to not meet Shunji's eyes. "Hm, I don't know what you're talking about?"
Shunji let out a sigh before he brought out a piece of cake from the fridge. "I'm going to pay respect..." Shunji spoke before walking towards the stairs.
Gran Torino hearing this followed behind Shunji upstairs, entering a room. Inside where to pictures one of a handsome looking man and one a kind looking women. Shunji quietly placed the piece of cake in front of the two pictures before kneeling down in front of the two pictures. "Mom, dad I'm back from school. Tomorrow I'll be graduating middle school and I'll finally be making it to UA..... I wish you could've seen me right now... I brought strawberry cake again, you two always liked it. Though maybe you got sick of it after I brought it to you too often. I miss you two."
Gran Torino stood nearby the door of the room. His precious grandson to was a poor child, at the age of 6 both his father and mother died by a villain attack. And at the thought of that incident Gran Torino clenched his fist.
"If only I was faster back then..." Gran Torino looked down on the floor and muttered his voice filled with rage. After all he had arrived barely a step too late and had seen the death of his own son and daughter-in-law.
"Grandpa it's okay you did your best back then." Gran Torino looked up hearing the sound of his grandson who wasn't even looking back, but Shunji's shoulder shaking was clearly noticeable to the experienced hero.
"....Training's after Dinner as usual, I'm not hungry so I'll wait for you outside" The elderly hero said before he left the room entirely and headed down towards the stairs.
U.A Office- Nezu P.O.V
I was sitting in my office table drinking some tea while going through a files of participants for the recommendation exam. But to be honest only one participant truly stood out to me.
"Shunji Torino, grandson of the now retired Gran Torino." I opened up his quirk file for the 3rd time today, after all he was the grandson of an old friend this was the least he could do.

Quirk File
Subject: Shunji Torino
Quirk: Firearms. Shunji Torino can transform a part of his body into any type of firearms, he is also capable of just creating firearms.
Strengths: The creation or transformation to a firearms seems to have no price. The firearm created by Shunji Torino somehow disintegrates within 48 hours without contact from the creator.
Weaknesses: Shunji is currently unable to transform or create more than 1 firearm at a time. Shunji must have a clear image and idea of what the fire arm is capable of before he is able to create it. Can only create lethal bullets
Note: After 11 years of developing his quirk under the supervision of Gran Torino, Shunji Torino has found out that touching a special type of bullet once allows him to create it. This ability was found out after Shunji made contact with a Nerf gun ammo and started being capable of producing them.

"Fascinating weapon type quirks aren't rare, but a quirk that allows someone to both create and transform their body? Now that's something I don't see often" I said to no one in particular. Most weapon related quirks altered some sort of body parts from a person and lasted as a permanent change. Such as Pro Hero Sawman
Situation where a person could change between weapons and ordinary body parts were rare. Lady Nagant was one of those rare few.
"Nagant..." It was a shame truly she would've been a wonderful hero if it wasn't for the HPSC pushing her too much she probably would've been ranked amongst the top 10 heroes by now.
I glanced back at the file of the boy named Shunji. "I wonder what kind of hero you will become..." I took a sip of my tea and close the files.
Torino House- 3rd P.O.V
The backyard of the Torino House was in simple words a disaster. Broken targe boards were scattered across the back yards, the floor full of used up ammo casings littered on the floor.
"Too slow kid!" The elderly hero dodged another rubber bullet shot by Shunji before dashing towards Shunji.
"Shoot" Shunji quickly rolled away from the attack and hid behind a tree. Shunji peeked out of the tree to figure out where his grandfather was at, but saw an empty field. Shunji raised both of his hands up knowing that he had already lost. "You're really too fast for me grandpa." Shunji looked back to see the old man on top of one of the tree branches.
"Hehehe, don't say that grandson, today you lasted 5 minutes more." Gran Torino said before he jumped down from the tree. "But really you have gotten much better Shunji, your aim is as good as always and your reaction speed and decision making became much sharper."
"And I still lost to you grandpa."
"Hehe, of course I was out their kicking evil butts before you were even born. So you think you're ready?" Gran Torino asked to Shunji who was in the middle of picking up parts of the destroyed target board.
"As ready as I'll ever be grandpa." Gran Torino watched with a satisfied smile.
"Good get to bed early today, you'll need it for the coming 10 months of intense training." Shunji nodded at Gran Torino's words and went back inside the house.
Gran Torino stood in the middle of the backyard and stared at the slight bruise on the back of his hand that Shunji didn't notice. "He'll be ready real soon."
