Bahanger's loud voice echoed through the battlefield. He had been considering how to dodge the massive worm's attacks, but Punk's Kinetic Energy Stagnation had neutralized the enemy's offensive perfectly.
Beside him, Kang Kai showed a rare flicker of excitement. He didn't speak, instead seizing the opportunity to rush toward the roaring rock worm.

Kang Kai leaped into the air and activated his most powerful fighting skill. His body spun at high speed, generating an overwhelming buzzing sound that filled the rocky battlefield. His dagger, breaking through the sound barrier, left faint distortions in the air, slicing through light and shadow.

His wild beard danced in the wind as he spun midair, bringing his heavy, qi-infused warhammer down toward the rock worm's gleaming tail.
The worm, sensing danger, twisted its massive body in an attempt to evade. At the same time, it opened its jaws wide, preparing another energy blast aimed directly at Kang Kai. But in its panic, it made one critical mistake—it forgot about the field-controlling mage lurking nearby.
In the midst of the battle, where ice and rock flew in every direction, where the worm's enraged howls mixed with Kang Kai's high-frequency slashes, no one noticed the terrifying dark-purple spell forming in Punk's hands.

The deafening explosion mixed with the sound of fracturing carapace as Bahanger's strike shattered the worm's massive tail. Half of it plummeted down the cliff, leaving behind a jagged, devastating wound.

The rock worm howled in agony. It was unable to fire its energy blast—the unstable light sphere flickered twice before dispersing into the cold air.
Unfortunately for Kang Kai, he had already stopped his Wheel Saw attack, cautious of the worm's energy buildup. His foot pushed off the blood-soaked carapace, propelling him away from the wound just in case.
While his attack hadn't been able to decapitate the beast, the perfectly coordinated strikes from the three official-level powerhouses had inflicted catastrophic damage. The rock worm's blood was now pooling on the battlefield, enough to fill a small pond.
Gone was its initial dominance. One eye had been destroyed, its neck bore a gaping wound, its tail was severed, and its lower body's carapace was riddled with cracks.
Meanwhile, the three warriors remained completely unscathed.
Realizing this, even a mindless, berserk creature could tell that it had no chance in a direct fight.
Its remaining eye flickered with hatred as it let out two enraged roars. Then, a pale yellow glow spread across its head. Lowering its body, it aimed at the cliffside. The glow intensified, rotating rapidly—this was its trump card, a desperate move to escape underground!
"Shit! It's trying to tunnel away!" Kang Kai shouted.
"Damn it, it's running!" Bahanger cursed.
Whether it planned to flee or prepare for a counterattack, Punk wasn't about to let it succeed.
Within two seconds, half of the rock worm's head had already vanished into the rock wall. The surrounding terrain rumbled and fractured, making it nearly impossible for Kang Kai and Bahanger to land steady attacks. The beast, though gravely wounded, still retained its formidable combat ability.
But while they were powerless to stop it, Punk was not.
Seeing the beast's massive form disappearing into the mountain, Punk's eyes turned cold. He swiftly pulled out a small vial of gray-black powder and, in mere seconds, completed an incredibly costly spell.
The powder shimmered like stardust as it absorbed mana, forming a swirling ribbon of energy. Both ends connected to an ink-colored energy cube in Punk's hands. As the spell reached completion, the frigid air of the canyon seemed to still, as though time itself had hesitated.
Fixing his gaze on the half-buried rock worm, Punk released the spell without mercy.
