Chapter 35 - Krisha’s Assessment

Krisha attempted to explain on his behalf, when Felix immediately said, "I-It's actually been about to deliver here. I sent it to Embercrown Arsenal to repair and make a scabbard."

Felix actually contacted the Embercrown Arsenal last night and learned that registering as a Beast Tamer really required his summon. After he told them that he'll be registering today, there was quite a long silence that he almost ended the call until Master Vey himself said he would finish everything by today.

The examiner nodded. "Alright, we'll have to wait, then. Or better, we should proceed for Miss Krisha first."

"It would be better."

Krisha asked, "Why? How long will it take?"

Felix glanced at her and replied, "I don't know, but they said they will call me once it arrives. Master Vey seemed to have pulled out an all-nighter preparing for the materials. In fact, the sword's restoration as well as its scabbard creation should have been finished today according to them, but I believe it's unlikely."

"Them? You mean, the prettiest hostess?"

Felix rolled his eyes and remained silent.

Krisha suddenly giggled at Felix's reaction.

Afterwards, they proceeded to the Mental Stability Chamber, which was located at the Assessment Wing.

She and PengPeng were evaluated for their soul-wave synchronization consistency, emotional fluctuation impact on beast, energy leakage or instability, and early contract strain indicators, particularly on their souls.

It went successful, even the examiner praised her and PengPeng, for showing a potential that was similar to Beast King.

However, Krisha was displeased on the part that the examiner compared her to her father.

Sure, it was a good compliment, saying that she has the potential to surpass her father, but the fact that she also said, "The future of the city is bright because of the new mayor," made her displease.

As if they aren't expecting for Father to remarry and expects a son soon to succeed him.

However, she kept her thoughts to herself as they proceeded to the baseline five-aspect assessment.

The evaluation focused on Krisha—her strength, speed, stamina, mental state, and skill efficiency.

Since she did not possess an active skill yet, she was assessed based on her elemental affinity that she gained after summoning PengPeng.

It was all A+ grade, which was still not satisfying for her.

However, for the examiner, it was already shocking. She might have witnessed an A- grade in a single aspect, but for every aspect to be at A+ at that, she blinked her eyes and dazed at Krisha.

I might have witnessed something unprecedented.

Even so, she was speechless when she noticed that Krisha was quite disappointed.

So, she was aiming for an S-rank, huh? Only the Beast Tamer Monarch' potential could probably reach it.

The examiner shook her head as she said, "Let's proceed to the beast registry unit."

The beast was categorized under species identification, lineage probability index, growth classification, and development stage.

There was no combat ranking assigned, but instead, the beast received a growth monitoring status.

In other words, it was a periodic reassessment scheduled every half a year or every year.

PengPeng's identity was quite common, but the fact that he was summoned instead of coming from the space rift, had his parents' captured and groomed the chicks, made him unique.

As unique as his potential—Unique rank.

However, the highest that a Frostwing Penguin's race has achieved was Unique rank. For it to evolve required the Beast Tamer to ascend to Beast Tamer King rank—and there has been no Beast Tamer King or Beast Tamer Monarch that chose Frostwing Penguin as their beast pet.

Nevertheless, it was how a Beast Tamer grew. For them to communicate well and find out the evolutionary materials with the help of their beast pet depends on their capability.

That was why they were called Beast Tamer for a reason.

After Krisha registered PengPeng, they returned to the Administrative Tower, where the examiner had long scanned the papers on her clip board and sent it to the registration staff.

Once they returned to the receptionist, everything was settled and the receptionist had already received an identification card, which served as a license for Krisha as an official Beast Tamer.

There was also an Awakener Rank badge, which she immediately wore with a big smile.

She then turned towards Felix and said, "Still no information about your sword."

Felix smiled bitterly.

2 hours have already passed since Krisha registered and another 2 hours would be lunch.

Just as he did so, his phone finally rang.

He immediately answered it and the prettiest hostess' voice echoed from the phone.

"Master Vey is heading there."

Felix was frozen. He clearly did not expect for Master Vey to come by himself.

Before he could react, Master Vey's voice echoed behind him.

"Felix, your sword is here."

He quickly turned around and was about to greet him when his eyes were mesmerized by the sword on Master Vey's grasp.

He held the sword forward, as though Master Vey wanted to give it to him.

He did not even notice Master Vey's beast pets in their miniature version, staring at Felix's sword intently.

However, Krisha swept her gaze at them and was stunned.

Cindervault Salamander, Ironman Bulwark Lion, Glimmerwing Emberhawk, and Obsidian Echo Tortoise… It has been said that these four beasts helped Master Vey in creating swords.

After noticing them, staring intently at Felix's exquisite azure sword, she realized something. Understandable. After all, they helped restore the sword to its appearance.

Suddenly, Master Vey said, "Excuse my children. They are eager to be here while parting ways with your sword. They helped in restoring your sword, Felix."

Felix was startled awake. He glanced at Master Vey and finally noticed his beast pets on his shoulders.

He scratched his cheeks and said in an embarrassed tone, "Thank you for restoring my sword."

Master Vey's beast pets finally glanced at him and nodded as they vanished.

Master Vey smiled at Felix, but there were clear visible signs of exhaustion from his face.

Felix was quite touched.

He bowed deeply and said, "Thank you, Master Vey. I don't know what to say besides thank you to show how much I'm grateful for what you've done."
