Chapter 335 - Unnamed

Chapter 335: Incompetent Heir, One-Stop Tutoring

Gines put away the key. "There's no time now. Let's go this afternoon!"

"Suit yourself."

"Aaron." Algol looked at him playfully, winking, "You and the Darwin Family girl... you have a history!"

"No, we're just ordinary siblings," Aaron said immediately.

"I understand, I understand," Algol said understandingly, "as long as you're not biological siblings."

Aaron paused, then rolled his eyes at Algol in annoyance, before dragging Leon to the next Chamber of Secrets.

He didn't want to explain, because the more he explained such things, the more troublesome they became.

"Looks like he's agreed by default," Algol murmured.

Aaron had just pushed open the second door when he heard his whisper, almost stumbling and falling to the ground.

"Lord Algol, I must remind you," Gines said hesitantly, "the Young Master is currently not interested in such matters, and is even quite resistant."

Algol, however, was unfazed. Who could say what the future held?

Entering the second Chamber of Secrets, Leon, like Aaronon his first visit, hugged a trash can and vomited.

"You can meet Ancestor Moer. His medical skills are truly unparalleled.

If you're interested, you can see how he dissects human bodies. His exquisite technique and meticulous attitude will definitely stay with you for a lifetime."

"Absolutely not necessary. I'm worried he'll dissect me," Leon quickly waved his hand. "Aaron, how many Chambers of Secrets does your family actually have?"

"In fact, I don't know either," Aaron said quite frankly. On the surface, their family had nearly two hundred Chambers of Secrets, but the true number could only be more, not less.

Vico had once produced a string of keys, but some of them he didn't recognize, and he had no idea what doors those keys could open.

Leon paused, and after a moment of thought, he understood Aaron's meaning.

"You're a somewhat unqualified heir."

"I'm special!" Aaron said helplessly. "Besides, I'm only the heir now, not the patriarch. Isn't it only natural that I don't know all the secrets?"

Hearing this, Leon chose to change the subject.

Among the four hidden families, Gaius was the most special. It wasn't his place to criticize how Uncle Vicoarranged his own son's life.

"May I ask, does every Chamber of Secrets have an ancestor guarding it?"

"Of course not. Currently, I only know of twenty-eight who can communicate normally."

Gollum!

Leon swallowed with difficulty.

"Um... let's just go straight to the Library!"

"Not touring anymore?"

"This isn't a tour, it's a visit," Leon said dejectedly. "And the people I'm visiting are all incredibly distinguished. I'm not Gaius, after all. Meeting one or two is fine, but meeting over twenty continuously is a bit much."

"So that's what you're worried about!" Aaron chuckled. "Except for Ancestor Wehert and Ancestor Flo, everyone else needs me to summon them to appear.

In other words, you only need to meet one or two."

"You didn't say that earlier."

"You didn't ask earlier!"

Next, Aaron took Leon to visit Vaughn's music classroom, Sarks's kitchen, Lant's botanical garden, Diart's Library... It wasn't until the twenty-ninth room that Leon finally breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

He looked at Aaron with a complicated expression, sighing, "I originally thought the education I received since childhood was exaggerated enough, but compared to you, it's nothing."

Today, Leon's eyes were truly opened. Learning nearly thirty subjects in two summer vacations, he honestly couldn't imagine doing that.

"How did you keep going?"

"Talent, plus... human will."

Leon:..."Speak human, don't I know you?"

Aaron sighed deeply and pushed open the door to the thirtieth Chamber of Secrets, which was the wine cellar.

Smelling the various wine aromas filling the air, Leon's mouth twitched violently. "Drinking to drown your sorrows, your family's arrangements are too smooth, aren't they?"

"This kind of treatment is only for me," Aaron poured himself a glass of mead and took a big gulp. "My father and grandfather were a little less talented; they just needed to guard the family.

But I'm different. No one knows what world I'm going to.

All in all... when you're out in the world, the more skills you have, the better."

"Hahaha!" Leon covered his stomach and laughed, gloating, "This is the first time I've heard that being talented means suffering like this."

Hearing this, Aaron clenched his fist, suppressing the urge to hit someone. "The hardest days are over. It's much easier now than two years ago, at least I don't have to run away from home anymore."

"It's quite difficult," Leon said, exiting the wine cellar. "I don't know how to comfort you, or rather, I don't seem qualified to comfort you.

Although this path wasn't chosen by you, it's something others desperately seek. Though difficult, the future is bright.

If I could, I'd even want to switch with you."

"You wish! This is my family's privilege."

"Good that you know," Leon pouted. "I'm going to the Libraryfirst. I won't disturb your class."

Aaron took a deep breath, drained his mead, and then returned to Wehert's Chamber of Secrets.

He had mostly mastered the basic uses of elemental magicnow. This holiday, he needed to learn some higher-level property transformations, and it would be even better if he could learn some other functional magic circles.

However, his request was sternly rejected by Wehert. "You haven't even learned all of elemental magic, and you want to learn something else?"

"Ancestor, you're right to admonish me," Aaron said weakly, then changed the subject. "But you also know that elemental magic is primarily offensive magic..."

"That's because you only think about increasing power," Wehert said grumpily. "You only know some basic defensive and auxiliary moves. I'd be embarrassed to even say it out loud."

Aaron:..."Alright! I'll compromise.

This holiday, I will research other applications of elements."

"Is that what I meant?" Wehert said speechlessly. "In my era, an elemental magician who mastered one attribute could make a living for a lifetime. Don't you think you're too greedy?"

"Without greed, nothing can be accomplished," Aaronwhispered.

"What did you say?"

"No, nothing."

"Sigh!" Wehert sighed speechlessly. "I'll teach you one more at most, but don't push your luck.

Tell me, what do you want to get from me?"

"Sealing," Aaron said without hesitation. At this stage, sealing magic was of no help to him, but he instinctively felt that this magic would be of considerable use in the future.

Hearing this, the helplessness on Wehert's face turned into relief.

"I thought you'd ask me to teach you more destructive magic. It seems you have a bit more foresight than I thought."

Aaron scratched his head with an awkward smile. "So, Ancestor, you agree?"

"Agree, why wouldn't I agree?" Wehert said meaningfully, then slowly extended his right hand.

Five elemental magic circles of water, fire, earth, wind, and lightning formed a pentagram in mid-air, then an outer magic ring connected them, forming a pentagram array.

"Do you understand?"

"I understand," Aaron couldn't help but swallow. "I underestimated elemental magic."

"You still have a lot to learn," Wehert explained earnestly. "In my era, everyone had a different understanding of magic. There are thousands of different uses for elements of the same attribute, and this is just one of them."

"Ancestor, if I may ask, how long would it take me to master all elemental magic?

Of course, below Forbidden Magic."

"With your talent..." Wehert frowned in thought. After more than ten seconds, he held up three fingers.

"Three years."

Aaron breathed a sigh of relief. He could barely accept that time.

"Add a zero to the end."

"what the f..." Aaron almost couldn't catch his breath. "Thirty years."

"That's still a conservative estimate, and it's already quite remarkable."

"Heh heh!" Aaron squatted down, his pupils looking somewhat dim.

He could grit his teeth and persevere for three years, but thirty years... By then, he might have already broken through to godhood, and researching elemental magicwouldn't have much meaning anymore.

"Learning is endless, that's what it means," Wehertcomforted. "The power of elemental magic at the same level doesn't differ much. Simple application is enough."

Aaron forced a smile that was uglier than crying. "I can do simple application now."

"Really? Remarkable!" Wehert clapped. "But what you understand and what I'm saying might not be the same thing?

Can you cast instantly? Can you stack multiple spells? Can you do defense and support? Can you..."

"Can you stop talking?" Aaron endured three critical hits and immediately interrupted before the fourth critical hit began. "This holiday, I'll listen to everything you say, isn't that enough?"

Wehert immediately showed a 'teachable' smile. "Ancestor won't let you suffer either. As long as you perform well enough, I can teach you some other tricks."

"Really?"

"If you don't believe me, we can make a pact."

"There's no need for that. I still trust Ancestor's character," Aaron said with a forced smile.

Wehert shrugged and began to assign Aaron his tutoring tasks for the holiday.

Starting with the simplest elementary elemental magiccircles to solidify his foundation, in addition to that, Wehertwould spar with him for half an hour to an hour every day.

Every time Aaron came out of this Chamber of Secrets, he had various cuts and bruises on him.

This stunned Leon, who angrily wanted to go protest to Wehert.

But after learning how fierce this ancestor was in his lifetime, he decisively chose to be timid, indicating that he was powerless to help.

Lant seemed to have known he would get injured, so he prepared a large amount of elixirs while Aaron was studying botany with him, making it convenient for Aaron to be lively and energetic for another beating the next day.

It was then that Aaron finally understood Gines's 'good intentions'. No wonder only a few main courses were arranged for this holiday; it wasn't that he didn't want to arrange more, but Aaron's energy wouldn't support it.

Wehert's varied beatings, Lant's healing, then going to the Library to verify what he had learned, and finally, Flo's psychological counseling.

After this one-stop service, if there was still time, he could go to other Chambers of Secrets to rest and relieve stress.

It must be said, this schedule was truly professional. If he didn't feel his strength improving every day, he would definitely go all out and fight Gines. Is there such a butler who treats his Young Master like this?
