Chapter 6 - The Kings

(Reaper, Vaibhav (White Dragon), and Lagoon sprint down the street, engines still echoing faintly from earlier. The morning air is tense, every step full of purpose.)

RING RING!! RING RING!!

(Reaper's phone vibrates violently in his pocket. He snatches it mid-run.)

Reaper (running, answering)

"Hello, Principal."

Principal (voice stern)

"You are not Sato right now… you are Reaper. Until you are Reaper, I'll say nothing. But I want Sato in perfect condition and present tomorrow at school. Today… you're on leave."

Reaper (smiling, cutting the call)

"Ok sir… I mean, senior."

(The three resume running, but suddenly halt — four imposing figures approach, walking with deadly confidence. The four Kings of Bulls.)

Reaper (to Vaibhav, smirking)

"Will we have to fight Kings too, or…?"

Vaibhav (grins, cracking his knuckles)

"I'm ready. 2v4? Bring it on."

(Lagoon hangs slightly behind, fidgeting nervously, while Reaper and Vaibhav prepare to charge. Suddenly —)

WHOOSH!!

(Four shadows descend from rooftops — the four Kings of Black Dragons land effortlessly in front of Reaper and Vaibhav, weapons in hand, eyes blazing.)

Kaido (King of Squad 1, growling)

"You go save Sanjana, Captain. We all want our rematch with them."

Tigress (King of Squad 2, smirking, never breaking eye contact with Vaibhav)

"Long time no see, Co-Leader."

Thunderclap (King of Squad 3, grinning at Lagoon)

"You are a man, but still hiding behind your back, Lagoon."

Wolfburn (King of Squad 4, smiling at Reaper)

"Go save our sister, Leader."

Reaper (smiling, eyes sharp)

"So you all came, huh."

Vaibhav (running beside Reaper, smirks at Tigress)

"Surprised, Tigress, that you still remember my name."

(The three of them charge forward. The Kings of Black Dragons launch themselves into battle — fists, kicks, and weapons colliding with the four Kings of Bulls in a brutal, high-speed clash. The street explodes into chaos as fists slam, sparks fly, and the roars of dragons echo against the alley walls.)

(Lagoon, despite trailing behind, trips over a stray brick — a chain reaction sends one of the Bull Kings tumbling into his own squad, leaving him confused but unharmed. True to form, plot armor and luck are on his side.)

Black Dragons – Kings

• Kaido – Squad 1, two-headed axe (limits full strength), wrestling expert.

• Tigress – Squad 2, twin daggers (limits full strength), female, Aikido expert.

• Thunderclap – Squad 3, spear (limits full strength), Muay Thai expert.

• Wolfburn – Squad 4, fists only, boxing expert.

Bulls – Kings (Rivals)

• Scarface – Fights Kaido, ultimate rival, uses brute strength, no actual scar.

• Knuckles – Fights Tigress, wears metal sheets on hands to block daggers, ultimate rival.

• Viper – Fights Thunderclap, wields katana, ultimate rival.

• Coconut – Fights Wolfburn, kickboxing expert, iron-hard head, ultimate rival.

[Street – Broad plaza inside Bulls territory. Morning heat rising off the concrete.]

Eight figures form a tight circle. Boots scrape. Fingers flex on steel and leather. The air crackles.

Thunderclap (raising a hand, stopping the surge)

"Wait. We're here for a rematch, right?"

Viper (sheathing his katana with a click)

"Yeah. So what?"

Thunderclap (level, unblinking)

"Then we spread. Pure one-on-one. No interference."

All Seven Kings (in unison)

"Ok."

They break formation, drifting into four kill-lanes:

• Kaido vs Scarface — axe hums low; knuckles crack like stones.

• Tigress vs Knuckles — dagger edges whisper; metal palms gleam.

• Thunderclap vs Viper — spear tip draws a line; katana answers.

• Wolfburn vs Coconut — boxer's stance set; kickboxer's heels bounce.

[CUT]

[Side street – Reaper, Vaibhav, Lagoon sprinting. Sirens far away. Morning crowds thin. The street split into two paths.]

Reaper (hands to face, steadying breath)

"Which path?!"

Vaibhav (White Dragon, breathing hard, scanning)

"Split up. I'll take the right. You go left, Reaper. Okay?"

Reaper (sharp grin already turning)

"Okay."

Lagoon (skidding, pointing between lanes)

"Uh—where do I go?"

Reaper (already tearing into the left lane)

"Wherever you want!"

Reaper vanishes down the left. Lagoon stands at the fork for a beat—eyes ping-ponging—then bolts after Vaibhav to the right.

Lagoon (muttering as he runs)

"Rule one: stick with the guy in white—can't jinx a lucky color."

Vaibhav (without looking back, faint smirk)

"Try to keep up, Lagoon."

Footfalls echo. The road splits their fates—left toward shadow and whispers, right toward guards and gates. The city holds its breath.
