It's been 2 days since the imp attack the village had Been busy One of the first changes even though it may seem cruel was they skinned and devoured the dead imps saving their hide for future weapons and clothing and their meat was tender and chewy and could supposedly increase fire power and its rumored greater imp meat can increase magical understanding slightly Daniel ate them because he wanted skills he got conversion from a greater imp and weak illusion from a regular imp it also increased his magicule count by a bit.
They had become slightly more proficient in combat and in order to keep a situation like what happened two days ago from occurring a small military camp was set up at the entrance with 18 soldiers stationed their oh and population was sky high originally it was 95 but now it's 120 so basically the females had layed eggs not too long ago and they hatched yesterday and of course they were given names aside from them Daniel wanted to expand as their Grove was no becoming severely over populated new houses we're starting to get conjointed it to save space and another thing he wanted to do was find some more subordinates.

Daniel confused suddenly looked at the Southern gate as a group of knight spiders were breaking through he decided to sit this one out.
As multiple greater kobolds rushed in to swing their spear's at The spiders legs hoping to chop one of them off bringing one of the spiders off-balance but there was only one problem with knight spider's their entire bodies were armored excluding their eyes suddenly soran ran up and swung he's great sword with all of his my chopping two legs of an knight spider off as it fell
Forward now that it had no front legs to balance its eyes locked onto soran as soran drove his sword through the spiders head killing it immediately.
The greater kobolds had also switched up their tactics and started using Their physical enhancement skill before striking allowing them to cut deeply into the spiders legs and One by one knight spider's fell luckily for the kobolds there weren't any casualties but some of them got bitten and had to be treated by the healer's with anti-venom herbs and now they procured enough food to last 1 week originally from what Daniel had learned from Soran is that when they were still regular kobolds all the monsters were either stronger or had better skills because of this they didn't feel safe going into the forest so the structure scavenging off of already killed animals and monsters I couldn't even take down a singular great tusked boar without losing a member but now that they were stronger they could start hunting soon as possible.
Daniel was brainstorming while watching from a hill as his subordinates treated the knight spiders like lobsters using their spears to stab into the flesh inside the armor and then pulling it out knight spider flesh what is naturally yellowish green in color mainly because their blood and body juices were paralytic but when cooked tasted like stake with roasted lemon zest and I had a small chance of giving paralysis resistance which would help the kobolds in the long run as the kobolds gathered massive amounts of wood before piling it all up together and lighting it on fire.
They then put the knight spider meat on sticks stabbed the sticks into the ground and let them eat roast around the bonfire and said bonfire was creating a smokestack going high into the air which would most likely be a bad idea and it was because suddenly there was this extremely loud roar Daniel Soren and the winged kobolds went over to the main gate to try and check it out and what Daniel saw caused him to be really surprised but in a really cool way.
The creature or creatures that was making the noise were tigers but they were different from regular human tigers Daniel heard soran scoff soran:"Damn dire-tigers" Daniel looked at him and said confused and in awe at the beasts below them Daniel:"dire tigers?" Soran hearing the curiosity in his masters of voice proceeded to explain soran:"the dire tiger pack The top two predators of the valorous forest there are the main reason why we stopped hunting yeah we were losing members but every time we did bring down some thing successfully with minimal casualties One of their members would swoop in and steal it" suddenly a tiger started stepping through the crowd unlike the other tigers who just like sabertooth tigers had fangs but these ones were small you could barely see them protruding out of their mouth's but this one is different.
This one had a pure black fur and a really shaggy mane and instead of 2 fangs he had blade's protruding from his forearm and going past his elbows this was a dire blade Tiger King as he made it to the front he looked up at soran and spoke dire blade tiger king:"listen up kobolds food is becoming scare something is chasing all of the animals and weaker eastward pasted the troll's territory so give us all of your food and leave we are taking over your territory for our own" now the previous soran Would've surrendered he knew would have been in no condition to fight an hi grade hazard class monster at his old age but now that he was evolved and stronger he definitely wasn't going to give up.
Before soran could retaliate Daniel jumped off the gate and slammed down in front of them Daniel:"sorry I don't appreciate you messing with my subordinates" the blade fire tiger king was startled a wyvern I just appeared before him Daniel immediately started producing wyvern haki scaring all of the tigers even the Leader himself but his people were starving and not listening to his instincts charged in Daniel immediately grabbed him by the throat lifting him up in slammed in back first into the ground shattering it as he actived his skill savage roar sort of like wyvern cry instead of summoning it induced fear it was extremely effective against opponents weaker than you put on people stronger than you it was more of a startle ability.
Immediately all of the dire-tigers submitted immediately Daniel snorted before speaking Daniel:"now listen up I'll give you a chance all of you become my subordinates we will let you win give you food shelter ect. But if you value your pride over the safety of your future generations then by all means leave and never return" the dire tigers now had a very hard choice to make it was either salvage their pride and reject the offer or become subordinates and obtain The resources needed to get through these harsh and very hard times that were suddenly sprung upon them.
Immediately the Tigers chose option two and after being adopted inside were all given names as the tigers went to set up their area in the cave ridden area of the inlet grove Daniel i've done this on purpose he didn't want to introduce the two enemies immediately especially at the dead of night not only would that startle them that would produce of fear factor but aside from them thanks to that blade dire tiger king he now had a new piece of information something was driving the wild monsters eastward so if he went west they would surely find the culprit behind the The mysteries before things got two out of hand cause one thing he didn't want was a disaster like the orc lord running around.
