Ilaria
I froze without opening my eyes. I could feel that someone was watching me. I made sure I kept my breathing even and deep, so as not to appear awake. My head was foggy and I was attempting to climb out of the sleep haze still lingering. I very carefully slightly cracked my eye open.
Standing in front of me staring at me was an adorable cherub-like face. I reached out and snagged her pulling her into the bed with me releasing a peal of laughter. I knew Dragori had already left for the office, so I wasn't worried about waking him up as I tickled Nissa.
"Good morning, sweetheart, how long have you been standing there staring at me?" I was still pulling all of my senses back from sleep, and I yawned, and stretched.
"Forever mama. Ivanka was making breakfast and Hugo was making lists, so I came up to get you for breakfast mama." She looked very serious as she told me of her mission to awaken me for breakfast.
"Thank you sweetie, I do need some coffee to get me going. Then we can decide what we are going to be doing today," She smiled and launched herself off the bed, as soon as her feet hit the carpet she was rushing out the door.
I laughed and sat up taking an inventory of my still aching body. Dragori had come in at some point last night and awakened me with his mouth between my legs. Then he proceeded to fuck me senseless. Then after he'd come, he allowed me to clean up, then he grabbed me and pulled me against him to sleep.
He had awoken me this morning, but at least it wasn't with his dick. Damn, that man was insatiable, and my poor body needed a damn break. He had kissed me awake, and when I jerked to consciousness, he was looking at me with a smirk. He had said he was leaving for the office, and he would see me tonight. That Hugo had my credit card and I could shop for whatever online until he was able to take me on a proper shopping trip in a few days.
I had apparently fallen back to sleep but I saw the card laying on the nightstand beside the bed. I wasn't a big shopping person, so what he thought I wanted to shop for I don't know. They had told me to make a list of items for the studio, so it didn't sound like he wanted me to purchase those things. I needed to find out if Nissa needed anything, and then maybe that would be something I needed to shop for. We would see.
I walked into the kitchen now dressed respectably in a fuzzy robe. I went right to the coffee pot having already been shown everything yesterday. It felt like the last few days had actually been a month, not just a couple of days. Especially considering how much had changed.
"Good Morning Mrs. Volkov." I heard Ivanka behind me.
"Ivanka, no Mrs. Volkov anything. I am going to start ignoring you unless you call me Ilaria, the whole Mrs. thing freaks me out honestly." I turned to the fridge to get my creamer.
She was smiling hugely, "Very well as you wish Ilaria. I have omelets ready for breakfast, and they are on the island."
"Ah, thanks for getting Nissa all set up, I am still trying to find my footing in all of this. So, I need to start setting an alarm so I can be awake when she is." I was musing out loud.
"She is used to me fixing her breakfast, it is a usual occurrence, so do not worry yourself. I am just glad Naleena is finally gone to be honest."
"You and me both Ivanka, and I would hazard a guess to say that Nissa would agree as well." Ivanka nodded her agreement.
I walked over and kissed Nissa on the head then sat down beside her, "Well is breakfast to your liking?" I smiled as she was currently chewing a chipmunk cheek full of food.
She nodded as she wasn't able to talk with all that food, and I just giggled at her, "Be careful sweetheart, don't take too big a bite, you don't want to choke." she nodded again.
I fixed a plate of omelet and toast, and continued to sip my coffee. "Wow, these are really good Ivanka, not that I'm honestly surprised." she smiled her thanks.
Just then Hugo walked in, "Ah, Hugo, Dragori gave me a credit card this morning to shop, was there something specific I was supposed to be shopping for?"
"No mam, he just thought you might enjoy the activity." He smiled like I should have known that.
"Oh, okay, well shopping for nothing in particular has never really been on my to do list, so I think I will pass on that then. I do want to check out what educational supplies Naleena had that she was using with Nissa." Hugo nodded
"If you need anything simply let me know, and I will get it when I order our weekly grocery and staple items." I nodded, not sure I would know how to get whatever I needed anyway. This was a foreign country after all.
"So, what is the procedure for taking Nissa to the park or out for some reason?" Before anyone could answer me Samuel stepped around the corner.
"I'm afraid right now we are going to be staying here. Due to the incident the other day, we are keeping you both at home for the present time, Mr. Volkov's orders." He had a serious face like he expected me to argue.
I shrugged, "That's fine with me, I just didn't want to disrupt her schedule too much, but if that's not a usual thing, we have more than enough entertainment here." he tilted his head looking at me peculiarly.
I helped Nissa clean up after breakfast, then she led me to the room where Naleena had been having her lessons in the morning. The room was dark, drab, and barren. What the hell?
"This room is depressing, we will have to do something about this if you are expected to learn anything. Who can learn when they are so depressed from the environment. I will speak to Hugo immediately." Nissa ran up and hugged me, apparently she didn't like it either.
I took her out to the garden as the day was sunny and not too hot, we again talked about flowers, and I tried to be somewhat educational about it. Although with her only being 4 I wasn't extremely concerned about her being behind in anything.
Suddenly Samuel was right beside me, so I jumped and registered 2 things. First, his face was a dark mask of anger, and second, he had his hand on his gun behind his back, but was attempting to be subtle here with me and Nissa.
"Mam I need you to return to the house with Nissa please." I didn't argue with him, i just picked Nissa up and started calmly walking back to the house, scanning everything and everywhere the whole way inside.
