Chapter 94 - Rain and Mud

The colours held me completely as they shifted and changed across the sky, red bleeding slowly into orange and then softening into yellow at the edges. There was something about the way the sun refused to go quietly, pushing every last bit of warmth and light it had into the sky above the trees before the night finally swallowed it whole. I watched until the moon and stars moved in and took their place and the last trace of gold was gone.
