The school gates were crowded with students heading home.
Chiaki stayed close to Adrian as they walked out together. Her arm is linked with his as she chatted about random things.
As they reached the main entrance, Adrian spotted Natsuha waiting. The moment she saw him, her face brightened with a warm, genuine smile… until her eyes landed on Chiaki walking beside him, arm linked with his.
Her smile stiffened before slowly fading.
At first, Natsuha tried to play it cool, assuming they were just walking together and would split up soon. But Chiaki didn't split up. She kept walking until she was standing right in front of Natsuha.
"So this is the Natsuha you've been caring so much about?" Chiaki said, her gaze swept over Natsuha from head to toe. "Heh. I don't know what you see in her. She seems pretty plain and boring to me."
Natsuha's expression changed in an instant, her eyes narrowing sharply.
"What did you just say, you bitch?!"
Both girls stepped forward at the same time, closing the distance until their chests collided.
Natsuha's large breasts pressed firmly against Chiaki's more moderate ones, the soft flesh visibly squishing and straining against their school uniforms. Neither of them backed down even an inch. They glared at each other intensely, faces mere inches apart.
The sudden outburst drew the attention of every nearby student. People stopped in their tracks as murmurs rippled through the crowd.
Chiaki's eye twitched as her gaze flicked downward. She then looks back up with a mocking grin spreading across her lips.
"Oh wait… you do have something good going for you. Those fat tits must be useful for something."
Natsuha's face burned with anger. "You slutty whore–!"
Adrian's eyes widened. The situation was spiraling out of control faster than he expected. He quickly stepped between them and raised his hands.
"Hey, both of you, calm down–"
Natsuha turned on him too, her eyes shimmering with restrained anger.
"Didn't we just talk about this, Adrian?!" she yelled, voice cracking. "Why did you bring one of her friends here?! You know I didn't want to meet them!"
Tears began to spill down her cheeks. Adrian instinctively reached out to wipe them away, but Natsuha slapped his hand away sharply.
"I'll go home on my own! I don't need you!" She turned around and ran off, getting past the crowd of students as her shoulders shook from emotion.
The crowd, as if snapping out of a trance, slowly began to disperse. They whisper among themselves and exchange awkward glances as they walk away.
A few lingering students kept glancing at Adrian with weird looks before finally heading off .
"Natsuha–!" Adrian called out and immediately tried to chase after her, but Chiaki grabbed his arm firmly, holding him back.
"Don't." She said seriously, looking him straight in the eyes.
For a split second, clear annoyance flashed across Adrian's face before he quickly masked it. He let out a heavy sigh.
"Why?" he asked, voice low. "Why did you do that? I told you she was going through something bad."
Chiaki rolled her eyes, still holding his arm. "Uh-huh. And you're the only one she can cry to about her issues? What, is she some orphan like Nagisa too?
Adrian paused, seriously considering telling her what Nagisa had done out of spite, but he ultimately shook his head and held his tongue.
"Sigh… what's done is done," he muttered, rubbing his temple. "I don't think we can hang out right now. I don't want to put my sour mood on you."
Chiaki shrugged, though a hint of disappointment flashed across her face. "Yeah, yeah," she said, waving her hand lazily. "Just be careful not to get too attached to that cow-tits girl."
She leaned in a little closer, lowering her voice with a wry smile. "She was snooping around from when the four of us left school together. Who knows if she's just some crazy bitch putting on an act to get close to you."
Chiaki poked his chest lightly with her finger. "You're new here so you might not know, but plenty of guys in this city have been stabbed by obsessive girls before."
She gave his chest one last poke before stepping back. "Anyway, see ya. We really should hang out properly next time. Just the two of us." Chiaki said with a playful wink.
Adrian forced an awkward smile and waved. "Yeah… see you."
Chiaki waved her hand lazily over her shoulder without looking back as she walked away, her light brown hair bouncing with each step.
The moment she disappeared around the corner, Adrian's smile dropped completely. He stood there for a long moment, hand covering his face as he let out a deep, exhausted sigh.
"Fucking hell…"
He massaged his temples, trying to push away the incoming headache, then started walking home alone.

Back at his apartment Adrian tossed his bag onto the living room floor without care and slumped face-first onto his bed, without changing out of his uniform.
"Fuuuuuuuck…" he groaned loudly into the pillow, voice muffled.
He lay there motionless for several minutes, letting the frustration settle. Eventually, he rolled over onto his back and stared at the ceiling.
'This wasn't supposed to happen this fast…'
He had hoped introducing Chiaki and Natsuha would be awkward at first, but ultimately helpful in slowly getting Natsuha, have a favorable opinion about Nagisa and also, to get used to the idea that he had other girls around. Instead, things exploded immediately.
He hadn't expected Chiaki to antagonize Natsuha so aggressively. She had been so playful and teasing with him that he assumed she would act the same way toward others.
Adrian let out another long sigh.
'Letting Chiaki meet her was clearly a mistake. I should've waited a bit longer…'
He sat up on the edge of the bed and ran a hand through his hair.
"Think…" he muttered to himself. "I need to think. What should I do…?"
He opened his phone and clicked Nagisa's socials, intending to message her. But he stopped, gripping his phone, he calmed himself.
Adrian stood still for a moment, raising a hand to his chin as he frowned deeply in thought.
'No… I can't rush my plan,' he thought. 'The business is my priority right now. Without proper leverage, I won't be able to handle the massive repercussions if things go south.'
He opened the System window with a thought and checked his Villain Points balance.

'With this much… the renovations can finally be done properly,' he thought.
He stood up from the bed, stretched his arms, and walked over to the desk. He turned on the computer, the screen lighting up the dim room. As it booted up, Adrian leaned back in his chair, cracking his knuckles.
'Time to find a proper general contractor,' he mused. 'Someone reliable and someone who knows how to handle things discreetly.'
He cracked his neck once, then began typing, diving straight into the darker corners of the web searching for contractors known in underground circles for discretion, speed, and most importantly someone who doesn't meddle in other's business.

AN: I hoped I handled the switch up properly. Ngl My original 'Evil' vision for MC is someone who becomes a person who just do whatever he wants, wantonly.
Now, I felt that his current Evil is better fitting for him. A Villain who pretends to be good on the outside world while a known villain to his victims or the people he's made dealings with. Gu Changge archetype basically. Of course he's still weak, my set up will slowly be revealed in the future... hopefully.
Anyway's if you had opinions or critiques, do tell me. I plan to keep learning one step at a time.
