A flash of light appeared in a dark alley in a rural area of Kuoh. The magic circle disappeared, and from it walked a tall boy with long blonde hair tied behind his neck and reaching his shoulders. He had pale green eyes and extremely handsome features. Said eyes scanned the area and landed on a homeless man sitting on the floor, resting his back against a wall.
The homeless man was looking at the boy wide eyed petrified in fear, then the boy's pupil changed into a glowing green spiral, curling inward like a hypnotic vortex, it flashed and the man calmed down, he completely forgot what had just transpired in front of him.
Adrien walked out of the alley, hands in his pocket and was greeted by the bustling noises of the city. "Good thing I placed a circle here, saved me the trouble of looking for the right coordinates."
Adrien who had hid his demonic energy completely, walked through the masses as one of their own. He grabbed a cab and went straight to Tokyo.
"Hello, It's my first time in Tokyo. Can you take me to the best hotel you know?", Adrien asked the taxi driver with a soft smile.
"Yes of course, right away", the driver said, "though I'm surprised you speak perfect Japanese for a foreigner."
"Yes I made sure I'm good enough before moving here." Adrien answered. Of course that was a lie, being a devil he could speak any language he wanted to.
As they drove, they talked for a while. The driver told Adrien about good places to visit and the best restaurants in the city. Adrien listened quietly, only speaking now and then.
They stopped in front a huge building, it was definitely a very luxurious hotel by the looks of things. Adrien thanked the driver and tipped him a hefty some, he walked inside the building into the lobby. A woman was sitting behind a reception desk, tapping on her computer.
Adrien approached her to book a suite. When she saw him, she was confused at first. Here was a boy no older than eighteen, with no luggage at all, and for a moment she thought he was there to beg. But that thought quickly disappeared when she noticed the expensive clothes he was wearing and the overall aura surrounding him.
"Welcome, sir," the receptionist said with a polite smile. "We currently have several luxury suites available. Our Executive Suite is priced at 290 000 yen per night, while our Presidential Suite is 370 000 yen per night. If you would like, I can also provide a brief overview of the amenities included with each option so you may choose the one that suits you best"
"Yes please, thank you for your help", Adrien replied politely.
The receptionist helped Adrien pick his suite, and Adrien reserved a Presidential Suite for 3 days on the 18th floor. But something bothered her, "Eumm... do you have luggage that we can help you with". She asked. Someone would at least have a small bag with him, but the boy in front of her had nothing on him.
"No, there's no need to, thank you again". Then Adrien put his hand in his pocket and took out a stack of money. What was strange was that the stack itself could never fit in his pocket, so from where did it even come from? The receptionist stared at Adrien's pocket, and before she could even realize what happened the boy had already disappeared, and in front of her was the cost of the 3 nights paid up front.
Adrien made his way to his suite, stopping in front of a large wooden door with the number 183 written on it in golden letters. He raised the key card and swiped it across the scanner beside the wall. A soft click followed, and the door unlocked.
The suite was spacious and refined, designed with a modern elegance that balanced comfort and luxury. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the city, letting warm daylight spill across polished marble floors and soft cream carpets. A king-sized bed stood at the center of the bedroom, dressed in crisp white sheets and framed by subtle golden lighting. The living area held a sleek sofa, a glass table, and a large flat-screen television mounted against a dark wooden wall. The bathroom was equally lavish, with a deep soaking tub, a rainfall shower, and silver fixtures that gave the entire space a clean, expensive feel.
Adrien walked through the room and plummeted on the bed, "Now where did I put it?" he said as he browsed his dimensional storage in his mind.
"Ahh here it is", a smartphone appeared in his hand in a spiraling vortex. It was the phone that he used in the human world. He went to an online shopping website and bought a laptop, another phone, and el cinco. Adrien had always enjoyed playing video games whenever he came to the human realm, so might as well buy a console.
After that, he started looking for apartments he could rent. Before long, he found an empty one in a residential building in Setagaya, Tokyo. It was exactly what he wanted: a high-middle-class apartment on the fourth floor of a nice building, and it was close to the school he planned to attend, Seijo High, a completely normal school.
He chose Seijo high because it was a normal school, he wanted to be as inconspicuous as possible. He messaged the owner of the apartment and offered 160 000 yen per month as rent. Then he took a book from his storage and started reading.
A few minutes later, the owner messaged him back and told him that someone offered 200 000 yen for the apartment. Adrien countered by offering 230 000 yen, then returned to his book. A few minutes later, and again the same family had offered 240 000 yen.
"Tsk, why the fuck am I in a bidding war for a fucking apartment!", Adrien was pissed and didn't want to waste any more time on this shit, so he offered 300 000 yen for it. Even though it was approximately double his original offer and way too over-priced for an apartment like that, he didn't give a shit, 300 000 yen wouldn't even count as pocket money for him.
Later he got the message that the other family had withdrawn from the bidding war. Apparently, they were a well-off family from out of town named Fujimiya.
Adrien spent that afternoon preparing, he sent his files to Seijo high. He would start as a second year student when the next semester start in 2 weeks. After all the preparations and paperwork were done, Adrien could finally relax. He approached the land phone and called reception, he ordered dinner, two servings of smoked salmon and two servings of white Rice.
Then Adrien took the remote and turned on his smart TV. He logged in his Crunchyroll account, and started browsing for any new Anime.
Just like his sister Seekvaira, Adrien loved to watch anime too, he was an otaku through and through. Seekvaira preferred mecha anime, but Adrien didn't have a favorite genre. He just watched what caught his interest.
"OH shit! My PEAK academia dropped season 8? and JJK Season 3 Part 1 is releasing episodes too?", Adrien was in for a feast. He spent that night binging his favorite shows like he always did in the human world.

Three days later, Adrien left for his new apartment. Before checking out of the hotel, he used his power on the receptionist, making her forget him completely and erase every bit of information about him from the hotel's system. He did the same to the staff who had brought his meals to the suite. Later on, both the receptionist and her supervisor were left utterly confused when they found that a huge amount of money had been paid for a suite that, somehow, had never even been registered as occupied.
The owner of the apartment had apparently left the key at his next-door neighbor's place. He arrived in front of the building, it was a quiet and well-kept residential apartment complex, simple but clearly meant for comfortable living. From the outside, it had a clean modern look, with pale walls, neat balconies, and a calm, upscale feel.
Adrien could have obviously bought a mansion or at least a luxurious apartment in a high class residential area, but he wanted to keep a low profile. Everything he had done, since arriving in the human world, was something he would never do.
'Never let them know your next move'
There was no way anyone would think that the troublemaker Adrien Agares would go to school and a normal one at that, he would never live in anything less than a mansion too. Adrien bought his laptop, his console and his new phone under the name 'Bob' without even a surname. He was trying to make it as hard as possible to find him, he wanted to stay low-key for at least a week.
Once a week passed he wouldn't mind anybody finding him, though he won't lead them in himself. Why a week? nothing really important, he just wanted to live peacefully for a weak binging anime.
"It's ironic, isn't it? I have to work so hard just to earn a little freedom. But if freedom only comes after chains, can I really call it freedom at all?", he muttered to himself as he made his way through a softly lit hall where his apartment was.
He went to his neighbor's house and knocked on the door.
'It's Saturday morning, so they should be home right?'
Just as he finished that thought a young woman opened the door, she had long blonde hair, golden eyes and a soft beautiful face. The girl was still in her pajamas, rubbing her eyes open.

Indeed the first girl is here, Shiina Mahiru from the Angel Next door.
The time of the story is in the current days in 2026 instead of 2009 when the light novel started, so there will be modern day stuff and gadgets. Adrien is also an Otaku and I have multiple Ideas I want to implement based on this.
