Chapter 42 - The One-sided Battle.

...,.....

Jujutsu Kaisen World.

[The Honored One: @Unlucky Reincarnator, weren't you curious about my new ability?]

Satoru sent a message to the group chat as he watched Toji walk out from the dust cloud, unscathed.

[Unlucky Reincarnator: Of course I am! It's simply cheating! You clearly acquired an ability before, so why do you gain another one—especially vector manipulation?!]

[The Honored One: It's basic vector manipulation.]

[Unlucky Reincarnator: Doesn't change a thing!]

[Ding!]

[The Multiversal Chat Group Admin—The Honored One has opened a live stream. Do you wish to join?]

[Y/N]

In her world, Mio tapped the 'Y' option without delay—and not only her. Tsunade, Claire, and Gintoki also joined the livestream.

"So it's really you. The so-called greatest sorcerer of the modern era—Gojo Satoru," Toji said, rolling his shoulders, inwardly shocked.

He had done his research on this Gojo Satoru and knew most of his abilities, especially the infamous 'Infinity,' which gave Gojo an impenetrable defense. That's why his first attack was with the 'Inverted Spear of Heaven'—a cursed tool that could nullify cursed techniques on contact. Yet it proved useless and was even rebounded.

'Troublesome,' Toji thought as he fell into a fighting stance. Though Gojo Satoru had become more troublesome, he didn't back down.

Boom!

The ground beneath Toji's feet caved in, cracks spreading as he shot forward, moving so fast he became a blur. But just as he reached within ten meters of Satoru, he plummeted downward just as fast.

Boom!

A thick dust cloud rose into the sky as a huge crater formed, with Toji standing at its center, staring at Satoru grimly.

[Slug Sannin: Is this the power of vector manipulation? Isn't this too overpowered?!]

[I Refuse to Marry: How did you do it?]

[The Honored One: I just added an opposite vector to his momentum, causing him to be repelled.]

[The Honored One: It might look simple, but it's actually complex. If I had been a bit slower and couldn't track his movement, I wouldn't be the one standing here right now.]

[Unlucky Reincarnator: But you have the Six Eyes, right?! Doesn't that mean all these complex moves would be simple for you?!]

[The Honored One: Yeah.]

There was silence in the group chat for a moment before Mio texted again.

[Unlucky Reincarnator: I have only one word for this—Overpowered! Overpowered!! Overpowered!!!!]

Toji's frown deepened as he stared at the hovering Satoru. Those piercing azure eyes, seemingly devoid of emotion, stared back mockingly. "This is bad!"

He now knew—the world had only just touched the tip of the iceberg on the power of the sorcerer named Gojo Satoru.

'Should I join him?' Toji thought, and the face of a blonde-haired man with stitches running across his forehead appeared in his mind.

This unknown first-grade sorcerer had met him before the start of the mission, hoping for an alliance. But Toji, being a lone wolf and finding the sorcerer sketchy, had naturally declined. Before leaving, however, the sorcerer had left a communication device—if Toji ever used it, it meant he agreed to the plan.

'Looks like it's come to this,' Toji thought as he activated the device.

Hundreds of meters away, Kenjaku, Hanami, and Jogo stood on a hill, surrounded by a multitude of cursed spirits.

Suddenly, a buzzing sound erupted from Kenjaku's trouser pocket. He took out the device, which was flashing red. A slow smile formed on his lips.

"The time has come."

...

Satoru stared at Toji, naturally noticing his movement, but he didn't stop him.

"Hmph. The rumors weren't exaggerated. You're tougher than they said," Toji grunted.

"Hmm, but yours seem exaggerated. The 'Sorcerer Killer'? You're extremely weak," Satoru retorted.

"The stronger one means nothing once you're dead," Toji shot back. Immediately, cursed spirits in the thousands—from fourth to first grade—surged from behind him.

Satoru smirked in disdain. He had naturally noticed the cursed spirits. Not only that, he had already sensed three more powerful presences behind them—one of whom he was very familiar with.

'So he finally came... Kenjaku, be prepared to die,' Satoru thought, his smirk widening.

[Unlucky Reincarnator: So many cursed spirits!]

[I'm a Samurai: Ugh, is that a poop I see there?! I'm gonna throw up!]

The cursed spirits rushed towards Satoru like dogs after fresh meat, yet when they got within ten meters of him, they all popped like balloons.

The first-grade curses didn't attack mindlessly. Instead, they used their cursed techniques from afar—poison mist, wind blades, lightning, and more—but none touched Satoru. All were easily deflected.

Boom!

Suddenly, a bright red magma ball hurtled toward Satoru, too fast for anyone to react.

Boom!!

A terrifying explosion raged through the area. The ground melted, and flames clung to it.

"I couldn't wait any longer! Gojo Satoru, fight me!" A voice filled with arrogance erupted from behind the cursed spirits as Jogo moved swiftly toward Satoru.

Toji Fushiguro, watching the battle, smirked coldly. "Guess they can handle it. I'll just complete my job."

Satoru, watching as Jogo's attacks missed, noticed Toji slipping away, causing him to frown slightly.

'I'll have to end this quickly,' Satoru thought as he rose into the sky, his thumb placed against his index finger.

Hollow Technique: Purple!

A purple sphere rapidly formed. Its sheer presence caused space to quiver. Kenjaku, who had been hiding, immediately noticed it. A single thought screamed in his mind—

Run!

Without hesitation, he abandoned his plan and fled. And he wasn't the only one. Tree roots burst from the ground, curling around Hanami and Jogo and dragging them underground.

Swoosh!

The purple sphere descended like a comet.

Boooom!!!

A cataclysmic explosion rang out, a fierce gale spreading and obliterating everything in its path.

[Blood Moon Valkyrie: Such immense power. I can see why you're the strongest in the group.]

[The Honored One: That was only five-tenths of my power.]

Satoru texted and closed the chat group.

Ever since he gained vector manipulation, even Satoru didn't know the full extent of his ultimate power.

[Live stream has ended!]

[Time: 8 minutes]

[Participant(s): 4]

'Toji Fushiguro... I'm coming for you,' Satoru thought and vanished.
