The departure day hit fast.
Too fast.
Luggage sat near the entrance.
Tickets were somehow already printed.
Nanami looked like he had accepted his fate—but not happily.
And in the middle of it all—
Takeru stood with a clipboard.
Serious.
Focused.
Like this was the most important part of the entire trip.
"…Who wants what seat."
A pause.
Then, clearly:
"…No defaults here. Just choose. There is window, middle, aisle."
Silence.
Yuji blinked.
"…We're doing this now?"
Hakari grinned.
"…Oh yeah, this is serious business."
Maki crossed her arms.
"…Just don't make it complicated."
Gojo raised a hand immediately.
"…Window."
Takeru nodded and wrote it down instantly.
"…Confirmed."
Yuji pointed.
"…That was too fast—why did he get priority?!"
Hakari laughed.
"…Because he answered first. Skill issue."
Yuji groaned.
"…Fine—window too."
Takeru looked up.
"…One per row preference conflict. Reassign."
Yuji froze.
"…HUH?"
Hakari leaned in.
"…He's enforcing seat economy rules."
Maki stepped forward.
"…I don't care. Aisle."
Takeru nodded.
"…Approved."
Kirara spoke next, calm as always.
"…Window."
Takeru paused.
Looked at the list.
"…Available. Confirmed."
Hakari smirked.
"…I'll take aisle. Easy movement."
Takeru nodded again.
"…Confirmed."
Panda raised a paw.
"…I feel like I should get aisle for… obvious reasons."
Takeru looked at him.
Then wrote it down.
"…Logical. Approved."
Yuta hesitated slightly.
"…Um… middle is fine."
Everyone turned to him.
Yuji:
"…You picked middle willingly?"
Hakari:
"…That's crazy behavior."
Yuta smiled awkwardly.
"…It's okay…"
Inumaki raised a hand.
"…Salmon."
(window)
Takeru nodded.
"…Confirmed."
Megumi sighed.
"…Whatever's left."
Takeru immediately:
"…Middle."
Megumi closed his eyes.
"…Of course."
Nobara stepped forward.
"…Window. I'm not sitting between people."
Takeru checked the list.
Paused.
"…Last window taken."
Nobara's eye twitched.
"…Excuse me?"
Hakari whispered:
"…Oh this is about to escalate."
Maki glanced over.
"…Take aisle."
Nobara exhaled.
"…Fine. Aisle."
Takeru nodded.
"…Confirmed."
Then—
he looked up.
"…Nanami."
All eyes turned.
Nanami stood slightly apart, already looking like he regretted boarding the plane conceptually.
"…Aisle."
Takeru nodded immediately.
"…Assigned."
Yuji looked around.
Then back at Takeru.
"…So… what do you have?"
Takeru paused.
Looked at the list.
Then answered calmly:
"…Remaining seat."
Hakari burst out laughing.
"…HE MANAGED EVERYONE ELSE FIRST."
Gojo smirked.
"…Leader behavior."
Maki muttered.
"…Idiot behavior."
Takeru wrote the final assignment down.
Then looked up.
"…Seating complete."
A beat.
Then he added:
"…Boarding next."
Yuji groaned.
"…We're really doing this."
Hakari grinned.
"…Malaysia arc begins."
Nanami adjusted his tie.
"…I need that beach."
And Takeru—
completely satisfied—
stepped forward like everything was exactly according to plan.
