Chapter 72 - PART 73 — The First Kiss

The air hadn't changed.

But something between them had.

They were still standing close.

Too close.

After the ride.

After the hug.

After everything that was already too much for one day—

Neither of them stepped back.

Pixel's heartbeat hadn't slowed.

If anything—

it was louder now.

Because now—

there was no confusion left.

Just awareness.

Of him.

Of herself.

Of this.

Stephan looked at her.

Not casually.

Not lightly.

Deeply.

Like he was memorizing something.

"Why are you looking at me like that…" she whispered.

A faint smile.

"Like what?"

"Like something's about to happen."

Silence.

Because she wasn't wrong.

He stepped closer.

Slow.

Careful.

"Tell me to stop," he said softly.

That line again.

But this time—

it felt different.

Because now—

she knew her answer.

She shook her head.

"…Don't."

That was it.

His hand lifted.

Resting gently against her cheek.

Warm.

Steady.

And then—

he leaned in.

Their lips met.

Soft.

Light.

Like a question.

The world faded.

No sound.

No movement.

Just that one moment.

Her fingers slowly tightened around his shirt.

Pulling him closer.

And that small movement—

changed everything.

The kiss deepened.

No longer unsure.

More certain.

More real.

Her heart racing.

His matching it.

Everything felt new.

Too new.

Too intense.

And then—

"—ah."

Stephan pulled back slightly.

Pixel froze.

Her eyes widened instantly.

"Oh my god—did I—?"

There it was.

A small cut.

On his lower lip.

Barely there—

but enough.

"I'm so sorry!" she panicked.

"I didn't mean to—I don't even know how to kiss properly—"

Her words rushed out.

Fast.

Messy.

Her face completely flustered.

And Stephan?

He was smiling.

Actually smiling.

"It's fine."

"No it's not!"

She stepped closer.

"Does it hurt?"

He touched his lip lightly.

"…A little."

Her expression dropped immediately.

"I'm really sorry…"

He shook his head slowly.

"Relax."

A pause.

Then—

he looked at her.

Closer.

Softer.

"Your lips are too sweet."

Her breath stopped.

Because that wasn't teasing.

That felt real.

"Stephan…"

A faint smirk appeared.

"Maybe that's why I didn't mind."

Her cheeks flushed instantly.

"You're impossible."

He stepped closer again.

"If this is what happens…"

A pause.

His voice dropped slightly.

"…I wouldn't mind this kind of cut daily."

Her heart—

completely lost control.

"WHAT??"

"You heard me."

"You're literally injured!"

"And still standing."

That calm confidence.

That tone.

It made everything worse.

Better.

Both.

"I don't know how to do this properly," she admitted softly.

A small silence.

Then—

he leaned slightly closer.

Not kissing.

Just close enough.

"You will."

"How?"

His gaze didn't leave hers.

"…By practicing."

Her heartbeat spiked again.

"With me," he added.

That line—

landed deep.

Because now—

it wasn't teasing.

It was something real.

Later That Night — Stephan's Side

Stephan sat on his bed.

Phone in hand.

His fingers paused for a second.

Then—

he opened his camera.

Clicked a picture.

Casual.

But intentional.

His face slightly turned.

And that small cut—

clearly visible.

A few seconds later—

he posted it.

No explanation.

Just one line.

💬 "Worth it."

Notifications exploded instantly.

📱 Johan: BROOOOO WHAT HAPPENED 😭🔥📱 Hill: Nahhh this is CONFIRMED📱 Johan: HE FINALLY DID IT📱 Hill: Party. Tomorrow. No excuses.

Stephan smirked.

Didn't reply.

Because he didn't need to.

Everyone already understood.

Meanwhile — Pixel's Room

Pixel lay on her bed.

Still replaying everything.

That kiss.

That moment.

That mistake.

Her face turned red again.

"…I cut his lip??"

She covered her face.

"Great. Amazing. Perfect."

📱 Ping

Her phone lit up.

She opened it.

And froze.

Stephan's post.

Her eyes widened.

"No way…"

She zoomed in slightly.

That cut.

Her cut.

And that caption—

Worth it.

Her heart reacted instantly.

Because that wasn't just a post.

That was a statement.

Without saying her name—

he still said everything.

"…Idiot," she whispered.

But she smiled.

Because she liked it.

More than she should.

Ketty Enters — Chaos Begins

The door suddenly opened.

Ketty walked in.

Phone in hand.

Eyes wide.

SMIRKING.

"PIXELLLLL."

Pixel froze.

"…No."

Ketty jumped onto the bed.

"I JUST SAW THE POST."

"Ketty—"

"DON'T 'KETTY' ME."

She leaned closer.

"How was it??"

Pixel's brain stopped.

"What??"

"The kiss."

"Ketty!"

"Don't act innocent."

She narrowed her eyes.

"Did you cut him??"

Pixel froze.

"…Maybe."

Ketty screamed.

"I KNEW IT 😭🔥"

"STOPPP!"

"How was he??"

Pixel covered her face.

"I'm not answering that."

"YOU ARE."

"No."

"Yes."

"Ketty—"

"Was he good??"

Pixel turned red.

"…I don't know."

"YOU DON'T KNOW???"

"It was my first time!"

Ketty paused.

Then smiled softly.

"…Did you like it?"

Silence.

Pixel didn't answer immediately.

But her expression—

did.

Ketty's smile widened.

"Ohhh you're gone."

Pixel hid her face again.

"I hate you."

"You love me."

A pause.

Then—

Ketty leaned closer.

"Be honest."

"How did it feel?"

Pixel slowly lowered her hands.

Her voice softer now.

"…Scary."

A pause.

"…but nice."

Ketty's expression softened.

"That's how it's supposed to feel."

Pixel smiled slightly.

Because for the first time—

it didn't feel confusing.

It felt real.

Ending Hook

Because sometimes—

love doesn't stay hidden.

It shows up.

In small marks.

In teasing questions.

In quiet smiles you can't control.

And once it starts—

It becomes impossible to ignore.
