The unlocking of the Magic mod gave Zenith a brand-new power. It wasn't just items. Originally, on his inventory interface, he could only see his health, hunger, and experience levels. But now, in the top left corner of the interface, a brand-new stat had appeared: Mana.
His initial maximum Mana was only 100 points, but as he continuously used magecraft, this cap would steadily increase.
Fortunately, the mod also provided items capable of storing Mana, so his MP bar wouldn't be as pitifully short as Kakashi's.
"Speaking of which, Shirou Emiya is also seventeen. Why is every single male protagonist a minor?"
As for how to find him, it was much easier than finding Jotaro back then. Zenith remembered the school Shirou Emiya attended; he just had to wait secretly at the school gates when the time came.
Unlike Jotaro, Shirou Emiya during this period—or rather, always—was a standard good guy, one whose ideal was to become an ally of justice.
Drinking a Potion of Invisibility, Zenith followed Shirou Emiya all the way back to his house to memorize the route. There was no Saber, and he didn't see Rin Tohsaka. It seemed the plot hadn't started yet.
That left plenty of room to operate. Shirou Emiya looked a bit dense, but he was actually quite smart. Zenith prepared to create a flawless identity for himself to make it easier to approach the boy.
Paving the way with gold, Zenith declared himself an investor coming to Japan, specifically targeting Fuyuki City.
He planned to build a 100-story landmark building in Fuyuki City called the Fuyuki Tower, while also opening factories in the surrounding area. It was estimated to provide over twenty thousand jobs for the entire city.
With the funds in place, massive advertising campaigns were launched the very next day. Zenith transformed into a renowned entrepreneur, an investment tycoon, and an international friend promoting bilateral relations.
And then, Shirou Emiya was left in shock.
"What? You're saying you're my uncle?! My family actually has relatives in China? How did I not know about this?"
"Of course you didn't know, my child." Zenith patted Shirou Emiya on the shoulder. "You were still young back then. You were just a kid when your biological parents perished in that disaster. It took me a tremendous amount of effort to finally find you."
Shirou Emiya eyed Zenith up and down suspiciously. "But you only look like you're in your twenties..."
Zenith gave him a *'you just don't get it, do you'* look, explaining that this was simply how rich people were—the wealthier they were, the better they maintained their youth.
Although he still had many doubts, he ultimately chose to believe it. After all, Zenith was simply too famous right now. Recently, television commercials and billboards all over the streets were plastered with this man's bust. He really couldn't think of anything he possessed that would be worth Zenith scamming him for.
Zenith successfully promoted himself up a generation, and then, under the guise of fostering their uncle-nephew relationship, naturally moved into Shirou's house.
"Shirou, I'm hungry."
Shirou Emiya, who had just returned from school, went to the kitchen to cook with a helpless expression. Generally speaking, shouldn't rich people like him be incredibly busy?! He heard that the construction of Fuyuki Tower and the surrounding factories had already begun. They had hired entirely Chinese construction teams, and their infrastructure speed was terrifyingly fast. By now, various construction sites surrounded by blue corrugated iron sheets could already be seen.
To be honest, Zenith still wasn't quite used to eating Japanese cuisine. "It would be great if you knew how to make Chinese food. I suggest you sign up for a culinary class when you have the time."
His fists clenched! The longer they spent together, the more Shirou Emiya felt that his uncle was a weirdo. "Uncle, I'm still a second-year high school student!"
"You're a growing boy. Having a special skill makes it easier for girls to like you. If you want to capture a woman's heart, you must first capture her stomach."
Zenith offered his own insights, though Shirou Emiya already had his own special skill: the high jump. To this day, it was unknown exactly how many people had watched Shirou Emiya do the high jump, but every girl who saw it ended up completely mesmerized, leaving Zenith incredibly sour with jealousy.
"Speaking of which, Shirou, what is your ideal?" Having lived together for so many days, Zenith was ready to get to the main topic. The main reason was that he had recently sensed many massive mana sources suddenly appearing and disappearing. Although he wasn't entirely sure, there was an eighty percent chance those were the mana fluctuations from summoning Heroic Spirits.
This Holy Grail War was probably about to begin. He needed to act quickly and give Shirou Emiya a wave of buffs.
"My ideal?" Shirou Emiya paused. This was the first time his uncle had asked such a serious question, and for a moment, he wasn't quite used to it. However, regarding this question, he had always held onto his own persistence and obsession, never wavering.
"I want to become an ally of justice."
"That's a very grand ideal. It won't be easy to achieve."
Zenith sighed with feigned emotion. Shirou Emiya was a stubborn idealist. His childhood experiences had given him an almost twisted sense of justice and a spirit of self-sacrifice, always prioritizing others over himself. In fact, becoming an ally of justice was initially just to fulfill the ideal of his adoptive father, Kiritsugu Emiya.
"But as your uncle, I can still give you a little help. I've noticed that you've been secretly training your magecraft abilities every night, right?"
"Uncle, you?!"
Shirou Emiya looked astonished. He hadn't expected a famous entrepreneur like his uncle to know about magecraft.
The magecraft here, of course, didn't refer to street magic tricks, but rather a skill that accomplished conventional things through unconventional means.
It was like the standard magic in Western fantasy settings, such as casting fireballs or lightning—referring to abilities that could be achieved through conventional means under current societal conditions.
On the other hand, achieving results that were impossible with current conventional technology, and manifesting them through unconventional means, was called True Magic.
In ancient history, when humanity could not fly freely through their own abilities and technology, a flight spell was considered True Magic. In modern society, with airplanes, rockets, and various other methods to make people fly, the flight spell naturally degraded into mere magecraft.
On the path of magecraft, Shirou Emiya was still a half-baked amateur. Kiritsugu Emiya seemingly hadn't wanted Shirou to get too involved in this hidden world, giving him a lot of misleading guidance.
"Of course I know about the existence of magecraft, Shirou. Don't underestimate capitalists! However, the help I'm going to give you isn't magecraft, but another miraculous power: becoming a Stand User."
*Who on earth calls themselves a capitalist?* Shirou Emiya really wanted to retort but didn't know where to start. After all, the person in front of him was his elder.
"A Stand User?"
"Exactly!"
Before Shirou Emiya could react, Zenith had already pulled out a Stand Arrow and stabbed it into him. This wasn't the original Arrow from the JoJo universe, but the Stand Arrow from his mod.
Zenith had already tested this beforehand. He could grant Stands from the mod to others using this method, and the awakened Stand would be randomly drawn from the mod's inherent pool of Stands.
As the master of the Minecraft Overworld, Zenith could naturally see the effect the mod triggered on Shirou Emiya. Gold Experience. The Stand Shirou Emiya awakened was Gold Experience.
"Young man, do you want to become a Gang-Star?!"
