Chapter note: 1st person.
***
As I left the room I had the meeting in, I found myself being glared at by the people in the guild.
Seeing this, I glared back at them, not because I know I'm strong, but as a sign that I too have a pride of my own.
"The hell is your problem?" I yelled at them, leaving without letting any of them talk back.
With money in my hand, I didn't waste any seconds and went to the nearest clothing shop.
With 2 gold on me and the guild secretary dealing with that problem of mine, I felt I could now relax for once.
Getting to the shop, I entered and was blocked by the owner of it. The way he looked at me, I knew he was saying horrible things.
Not like I was going to go against it.
After all, if someone were to enter my shop while covered in blood, I too would not let them in...
Too bad, I'm no owner of any establishment.
Instead, seeing this, I pulled out the coin on me and smiled.
The owner, seeing what I carried, opened up and started recommending clothes to me, which I rejected all, as I didn't want any of them.
Moving to the discarded ones, worth around a silver or two, I started looking for clothes I wanted.
Something not too flashy but good-looking too.
And for the stat increase? I was not expecting much from it either.
The system only told me I can now access the items in this world, it did not tell me I can receive the stat increase from them.
After ten minutes of picking and looking for ones I wanted to buy, I gave the owner all of them and moved to the counter.
"Are you sure about this?" the owner said to me. "All of these barely only give you one point of stat, you know?"
Hearing that, I smiled, like I have always been doing since coming into this world.
"Yes, I'm not here for them, but for the clothes themselves." Handing out the gold coin to him.
Taking it from my hand, the owner started getting my change.
Before I knew it, I was already moving in the street, making my way to an alleyway.
Looking around, making sure none could see me, I placed down the paper bag where the things I bought were in.
Looking at the ring I got from the snail a few hours ago, I smiled. To think it was a treasure of its own.
Thanks to the secretary, I was able to know this ring's abilities and the skills it gives.
Now in this thought, I sighed. I really need to unlock the next feature.
Anyway, thanks to the secretary earlier, I learned this ring has a small space in it, allowing me to put things inside it.
Though the size is fairly small, its utilization is great.
Just by tapping my hand on the things I want to put inside it, they will disappear and be placed inside the ring.
Using this now, I recalled how she was willing to pay me half of what she offered for the skill book to have this.
Too bad for her, I didn't sell it. While good for me, now that I have a storage ring of my own, and even skills to use now.
With that done, I went towards the bathhouse next.
For the first time in this world, I didn't spend the entire day inside the dungeon and go hungry.
Instead, today I went and enjoyed the basic things people have been doing all this time.
Eating food until I couldn't anymore, cleaning myself till I didn't want to touch water anymore.
And soaking myself in the sun for hours, instead of being in the halls on the second floor.

Later that night, still in the horse stable I have always been sleeping in, I summoned the system once again.
And questioned myself, how much do I know about the structure of the system.
System has always been the same no matter what the genre of the story is.
Be it from Isekai, gate and hunter, cultivation, or even romcom series.
It has the name, level or realm in cultivation, skills or technique, titles, and stats section most of the time.
Sometimes, there are even talents, quests, and stores on them.
But, what do I really know about it?
As in each part of the system, what does it do and represent? Based on my understanding.
Skill — obviously the ability you can use to win against your opponent.
Stats — the overall rating of your power in the categories it has.
Level or realm — the system telling you how big the difference is between you and others.
Then, what about the name?
What does the name truly do in the system?
Telling you your name?
That's stupid and useless, as how would you even not know your name unless you have amnesia.
To me, what the name section in the system does is not a reminder of what your name is, but its ability to tell you information.
Not about yourself, but on what you'll have and get.
In the works I have read, each time the MCs took something in their hand, a status window would appear telling them what it was.
But to me, like what happened after the fight earlier, even though I had the system panel appear before me.
I still couldn't see what the skill book does.
So, by taking this theory of mine into my current situation.
If I were to unlock the name, and the system shows me my name on the panel.
I can then see the information of what I have in my hand.
[ Status. ]
Name:
Level: 1.
Class: Unavailable.
Stats: ??? Not available at the moment.
Skills: Nothing.
Titles: ? Impossible to have.
Talent:
Energy left: 59.4%.
I'm currently level 1, because I killed those exp slimes earlier.
For now, I plan to spend the next few days hunting on the first floor, to level up and gain access to the third floor.
So I can gather better quality mana crystals and feed them to the system and unlock the next feature.
And with the money I have, I can now buy a weapon to use and increase the efficiency of my hunting.
Yawning as my sleepiness got to me, I closed my eyes and let myself sleep for the night.
