More then 100 years have passed. Turi have been absorbing qi grains and cultivating in this desolate place for the five times of her life she lived in earth.
During this period she had multiple mental breakdowns from remembering her parents, family, loved ones and loneliness. But she had to get a hold of herself everytime because cultivating and getting back a human body is her only choice to leave this lonely place.
Since getting out of the blood pool Turi has been moving around the battlefield. Turi tried to absorb the qi grains from the air and soil but it wasn't a little bit effective. It's like extracting water from desert sand. The concentration of qi gains in the air and soil of the battlefield is incredibly scarce.
So her only option was getting qi grains from the blood and corpse of the cultivators scattered in the battlefield ground. At first she was a little hesitant about it but remembering that she was born in a blood pool took the hesitation away. And she wasn't eating the blood or fresh of the corpse, just taking away qi grains from them. It doesn't even makes any changes in the corpse too.
After convincing herself Turi started cultivating again. She has improved a lot in this hundred years. Her perception range is now 1 hundred kilometre around her.
Even though she has 10 leaves and one peony blossom on top, the colours have changed dramatically. Her flower petals are now of deep maroon colour with a border of metallic gold colour which extends towards the centre of the petals like glitter.
Her leaves, stem and roots are also in the same shade of metallic gold with different kinds of deep maroon colour intricate designs all over. Her whole plantself gives of a very luxurious vibe that she wants to use it as a decor.
But the most important news right now is that she is at a critical point of her cultivation. Turi has a gut feeling that if she can safely pass it, she can become a human again.
So she is currently preparing herself physically and mentally to take the final step.
After taking some time to stabilise herself she started her cultivation. With each new qi grain she absorbs it gets harder to absorb more. It's like pouring water to a already filled glass of water that might overflow at any moment.
Turi feels that she needs to do something to not to let it overflow. At first she thought she should do something like building a core inside her body like they do in novels. But it's not as easy as said. She can't put the sand grains together to make something solid no matter how much she tried. Maybe she don't know the right technique.
So after much deliberation, the method she thought of was to use the excessive qi grains she absorbs to shape her body to transform it into a human body. As her ultimate goal in past hundred of years was to become a human.
So she began to make a plan. She will cultivate a seed pod inside her flower and make the environment inside of the seed pod similar to a womb. She will grow her new body as a baby develops inside her mothers womb but the difference is that she wants to grow a adult body.
She is kinda excited. Her this method comes from her remembering of elfs born from a mother tree in the novels she read. She feels that it is the right method to obtain a body at her current situation.
She first expandeds her roots in different directions near the corpses in the battlefield to help her collect sufficient qi grains. Then she makes her flower big enough to have a giant seed pod to accommodate a adult human size body instead.
After it reached the right size she begans to form the embryo of her body as she read in biology book. She executes every step carefully to make it as precise as possible.
As time pass by Turi continues the process of nourishing her body for like 3 years. Three years later her body reached the size of a newborn baby. Turi takes a sign of relief. Now what left to was to let the body grow bigger and mature.
After two more years Turi finally finished nourishing her new body. She quickly transfers her consciousness into the new body. It's a really novel feeling to feel your own heartbeat again. It gives peace to her mind to be a human again.
Turi is currently inside her seedpod. She gradually breaks open her seedpod and set her foot on the ground for the first time since coming into this world. No matter how long she lives as an another being, it doesn't compare to be a human.
With her new body Turi also fulfilled some of her wish. Her new body is 185 cm tall. When she was in earth, her height was girl under 160 cm. Even if she wasn't particularly bothered about her height at that time, now that she got a chance to change, she naturally wanted to be taller.
Her body isn't very slender as she wants a healthy body with curves at the right places.
Her hair is really healthy. It's length is below the knee as she likes long hair. Her fair skin and black hair creates a sharp contrast.
She has black round eyes, sharp nose which goes well with her oval face. Turi tried to keep her face as close as possible to her old one. No matter how average her own face was , it was still the most familiar face to her and the one she was born with. It's an important part of her identity that she also doesn't want to lose in this unknown world.
Turi used her old body parts to make her clothes as she is naked after coming out of the seedpod. She used her petals to form a deep maroon coloured long sleeved modern version of chinese hanfu she used to watch in kdrama.
She turned her golden stem, leaves and roots along with rest of the petals to from her shoes and accessories. She really did dress up gorgeously as which girl doesn't like do dress up when she gets the chance.
With her new body she walks around the battlefield cheerfully. It really looks out of place in this gruesome place. Then she starts to test her speech.
" I...,I can talk now." Turi says smiling with tears in her eyes. It's really good to hear your own voice after so long.
"Now let's get out of this damn place first." Turi says after looking around at battlefield.
Turi chooses to walk towards the south as the air is much colder when it blows from north. So she guessed there might be snow in north.
It's best to walk towards south as she has most chances of meeting people there.
Turi isn't hundred percent sure about her choice but she still chooses to follow it. After taking one last look at her surroundings where she spent all of her plant life in this world she starts waking.
Turi has been walking for more then 5 years. At this point she is questioning about her choice. Did she really choose the right direction? Many times during her walk she thought of changing directions but she still choosed to follow cause it will be waste of her previous efforts.
She has long left out the battlefield one and half year ago but still there isn't any signs of living animals nearby. She can see some random shrubs and dead trees around her but no living animals. Not even any rats, birds or rabbits.
"Huhhhhhhh. Where's the end of this dead plain. When can I meet any people, there isn't even any ants nearby. Ugh okay, I will only walk for one more year in this direction. If I can't find any living things in this mean time I am gonna change the direction." Turi said with frustration.
But after nearly half a year Turi finally got the results of her hard work. She found the signs of insects and animals around her. As she keept walking she can see more movements around her. The animals here are mostly similar to the animals on earth.
She is now in a grassland. The plain stretches as far the eyes goes. She can't see the end the even with sensing the area of one hundred kilometres around her. But still there are many animals living in this area. It's still better then previous desolate places.
" Let's take a break here. I have been walking for ages. Never in my life I walked so much. I guess any human in earth also didn't. This place is huge. I could have reached from one end of earth to other from all this walking."
" Hmm, I should eat something first. I haven't tasted anything after coming here." Turi says as she catches a rabbit like animal from nearby grass. Although she can go by without eating, still she wants to eat something as she is a big foodie. She doesn't want to miss the chance she got.
" This thing is really fat. Must be eating grass from the moment it was born." Turi begains to clean the rabbit after she slaughtered it properly.
She light a small fire from her palm and started roasting the rabbit. Making fire out of thin air, you really have thank her all of these years of cultivation.
Turi didn't waste her last five years only by walking. After getting her body she started to experiment with her powers. Although she can't perform technics like those cultivators left marks in the battlefield, she is quite good at little tricks.
She used the little bit of knowledge she remembers that she learned in school.
She was burning pure oxygen from air using her cultivated powers.
She can also lift light objects as thinking of making them weightless by removing the work of gravitational force on them.
She can make ice by transferring heat from one item to its surrounding and making it extremely cold. Collect water from the air by gathering the water vapour etc.
" Wow it tastes amazing. If there was salt and paper it would even more better. Well I will find them someday hope so." Turi says as she takes huge bite from the roasted rabbit.
After eating and drinking enough water Turi decides to take a nap here. Let's continue the rest of the journey tomorrow.
