All Masters and Servants stood in tense silence as Rin finished explaining the truth of the Holy Grail.
"The Grail can grant wishes," Rin said calmly, "but it is corrupted. Any wish made will be fulfilled in the worst possible way."
Her words crushed the hopes of several people present.
Saber clenched her fists. "Even so… I must obtain it."
Kiritsugu remained silent, but his gaze hardened.
Rin continued, "So instead of letting it bring disaster, I propose something simple—end this Holy Grail War tonight."
She raised her hand and pointed upward.
A massive floating fortress appeared briefly in the sky—the Hanging Gardens of Babylon—before vanishing again.
Everyone felt it.
An overwhelming amount of magical energy.
Kayneth's expression changed completely. "That… that level of magecraft…"
Waver swallowed nervously. "Rider… can we even fight that?"
Iskandar laughed loudly. "Now this is interesting!"
Gilgamesh simply smirked.
Only Saber remained focused. "Even if the Grail is corrupted… I will still pursue my wish."
Rin narrowed her eyes.
"Then answer me this, King Arthur," she said. "Why do you want the Grail?"
"To save my country," Saber replied firmly. "I will redo the past and choose a better king."
Rin sighed.
"That's just self-denial."
Saber frowned. "What do you mean?"
Instead of answering directly, Rin turned to Sakura.
Sakura nodded.
Berserker stepped forward—and then revealed his true identity.
"Lancelot…"
Saber's eyes widened.
Sakura used a Command Spell.
"Berserker, restore your sanity."
The madness faded.
Lancelot knelt before Saber.
"My King… please punish me."
Saber shook her head immediately. "I never blamed you."
Lancelot trembled.
Then he spoke slowly.
"Arthur… you never understood us."
The courtyard fell silent.
Saber froze.
Rin crossed her arms.
"This is your problem, King Arthur. You never saw your people as humans—only as responsibilities."
Saber tried to respond, but no words came out.
For the first time, doubt appeared in her eyes.
