Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Sun Over the Snow

With the data from Rick Prime and the stability of the Golden Fluid etched into his neural pathways, Alex began the labor of his own creation. He didn't just build a portal gun; he forged a multiversal anchor. In the quiet of his soul-bound space, he synthesized a quad-mix of portal fluids: the chaotic Lime of the Finite Curve, the restrictive Blue of the Federation, the liberated Gold of the outside, and a theoretical Black fluid derived from the Omega Device's erasure properties. He packed light, prioritizing utility over clutter. His subspace held twenty backup portal guns, ten thousand gallons of stabilized fluid, some advanced healing serums, some clone making mahines. To document his rise, he integrated a high-capacity tablet with an inbuilt multi-spectrum scanner.

Before departing, Alex underwent a rigorous metamorphosis. He spent months within his accelerated time-space mastering the fundamentals of human combat—Karate, Judo, Boxing—honing his reflexes until they were instinctive. He memorized "The Knowledge," a blueprint for jump-starting civilizations from the Stone Age to the Atomic Age. Finally, he gathered his inner circle. He didn't leave Beth, Space Beth, Summer, or Tricia Lange to the mercy of a Rick-less universe; he integrated them into his system space, offering them an eternal adventure. Changing his appearance to a handsome, nineteen-year-old Japanese youth with obsidian hair and eyes, he stood before the recording device "We're going on an adventure," he said, his voice a calm command. Then, he adjust dimension coordinate "DS-0001A" with a flash of quad-colored light, he stepped into the Taisho era.

The year was 1912. Alex, now using the alias Touya Mochizuki, tracked the scent of charcoal and winter to the Kamado household. He found Tanjuro Kamado, a man dancing with death and the Hinokami Kagura. Alex didn't wait for tragedy; he administered a high-grade healing serum, purging the illness from Tanjuro's lungs in exchange for the secrets of Sun Breathing. For two years, Alex mastered the breath that mimicked the star in his pocket. He scoured the mountains for the Blue Spider Lily, securing the prize Muzan had hunted for centuries. By 1914, his scanner picked up a massive surge of demonic energy. He arrived in a blizzard to find Kanae Kocho, the Flower Hashira, bleeding out beneath the sadistic grin of the Upper Moon Two, Doma.

Alex didn't exchange quips. He pulled the Sunlight Gun. A single pull of the trigger released a localized solar flare that turned the night into noon. Doma didn't even have time to scream; he was incinerated instantly, his cellular structure bypassed by the concentrated UV radiation. Kanae stared, her breath hitching as she stammered, "How... how!?" Alex ignored the question, handing her a flask of enriched water just as Shinobu and the Kakushi swarmed the clearing. Weapons were drawn, but Kanae's trembling hand stayed them. The next day, Alex stood before Kagaya Ubuyashiki and the assembled Hashira. He laid his cards on the table: "I am Touya Mochizuki. This is a Sunlight Gun. It has four shots left." The shock was palpable, but it turned to absolute silence when Alex offered the ultimate trade. "I want every breathing technique you possess. In exchange, I will give you the original Sun Breathing."

The deal was struck in blood and ink. Alex spent the next year absorbing the styles of Fire, Water, Wind, Rock, and Thunder, while his tablet recorded the nuances of the derivative forms. He gifted them "The Knowledge" translated into Japanese, a spark to ignite a scientific revolution. In 1915, using Tamayo's intel, the Corps laid an ambush at the Kamado home. When Muzan Kibutsuji arrived, expecting a simple slaughter, he found a wall of Hashira empowered by Sun Breathing and Strengthening Serum which make them peak of human capability. The battle was a cacophony of steel and elemental fury. Shinjuro Rengoku, Jigoro Kuwajima, and Sakonji Urokodaki fought alongside the current Hashira, a generational pincer movement that Muzan could not escape.

As the Flame Hashira and the veterans severed Muzan's limbs and Gyomei crushed his skull, Alex stepped forward (very fast before Muzan fully recovered). He fired the Sunlight Gun, the second of five shots, pinning the Demon King in a permanent dawn. As Muzan dissolved into ash, Alex moved with clinical speed, extracting a massive sample of the "Prime Demon" blood before it vanished. The battle was won, though the snow was stained red with the fallen.

As the sun rose naturally over the mountain, its golden light washing away the last traces of darkness, Alex stood amidst the quiet aftermath of a war that had ended centuries too soon. Kagaya Ubuyashiki wept softly, the weight of generations finally lifted, while the surviving Hashira stood in exhausted silence. Alex turned, his expression calm, almost detached, as if this victory were merely another completed equation. "My mission is complete," he stated, the portal gun humming faintly in his hand. The Corps moved instinctively—some stepping forward in gratitude, others in disbelief, unwilling to let the one who had rewritten their fate simply walk away.

Before anyone could speak, two figures stepped forward instead.

Kanae Kocho, pale but smiling gently, her eyes filled not with confusion but quiet resolve. Beside her stood Shinobu, her gaze sharp, analytical, already dissecting the impossible existence before her. "You're leaving," Kanae said softly, as if stating an obvious truth. Alex met her gaze but said nothing. Shinobu's lips curved into a faint, knowing smile. "Then take us with you."

A ripple of shock passed through the Hashira.

Kagaya's voice was calm, though heavy with emotion. "Kanae… Shinobu… are you certain?"

Kanae nodded. "The world you've given us no longer needs us in the same way. But there are other worlds… aren't there?" Her eyes returned to Alex. "Worlds still suffering."

Shinobu adjusted her sleeve, her voice light but unwavering. "And I'd very much like to study you."

For the first time, Alex paused—not out of hesitation, but calculation. Then, a faint smile appeared, subtle and cold, yet not unkind. "Very well," he said. "But understand this—where I go, there are no guarantees. Only variables." "That's more than enough," Shinobu replied instantly.

Kanae turned once more to the Corps, offering a final, serene smile. "Take care of this peaceful world… for us."

The quad-colored rift spiraled open, its light reflecting in their eyes like a doorway to infinity. Without another word, Kanae stepped forward, Shinobu following at her side. Alex glanced back only once, at the world he had optimized and left behind.

Then, together, the three vanished into the shifting colors of the Omniverse—leaving behind not just a saved world, but the beginning of something far more unpredictable.
