Location: The Grocery Store.
Mood: I just wanted eggs.
9 AM: Went to the supermarket. I love Saturday mornings because the "Main Character" types are either in the Gym or can't get out of bed after a tryst.
9:15 AM: Aisle 4 (Baking) was blocked. An Alpha was hovering over an Omega who had "struggled" to reach a bag of flour. The Omega was blushing so hard I thought he might spontaneously combust.
9:16 AM: They were doing the "intense, unblinking stare" thing. I waited three seconds, realised they weren't going to move, and just reached between them to get my eggs. My hand passed right through the "zone of tension." Neither of them even blinked. To them, I was basically a sentient shopping cart.
9:20 AM: As I walked away, I heard the Alpha whisper something about "destiny." I checked the price of the eggs. $5.99. Destiny is getting expensive.
11:30 AM: Home. It's quiet. Being a Beta is essentially being invisible to the plot. It's glorious.
