Mood: Refreshingly boring.
11:00 AM: Found a cafe that advertises "High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filtration." It's basically a sanctuary for Betas who don't want to be around someone's "angst" while eating a croissant.
12:30 PM: Watched a dramatic breakup happen through the window on the street outside. An Alpha was kneeling on the sidewalk, likely making a scene. I couldn't hear them through the soundproof glass, so it just looked like a very intense, silent interpretive dance.
01:00 PM: A couple of Betas at the table next to me were discussing their 401ks. I almost joined the conversation out of pure joy.
