After the direct encounter with L at the university, Light Yagami felt a new kind of pressure. L was no longer just a voice on a screen; he was a person sitting next to him. Every move Light made had to be perfect.
"He's watching me, Ryuk," Light thought, writing notes in his textbook. "He wants to see if I react to the news. He wants to see Kira's pride crack."
[Scene 2: The Shocking Broadcast]
Suddenly, a news flash interrupted every screen in Japan. A strange, gothic letter "K" appeared on the screen, accompanied by a distorted high-pitched voice.
"I am the real Kira," the voice claimed. "To show my power, I will now execute the criminals who were scheduled for trial tomorrow. Watch."
Light froze. What? I didn't do this! [Scene 3: Chaos at the Task Force]
At the police headquarters, L stared at the monitors, his thumb pressed against his lip. "This isn't Kira's style. The victims are dying of heart attacks, yes... but the timing is sloppy. It's too loud. Too desperate."
"Could there be... two Kiras?" Detective Matsuda whispered.
L's eyes sharpened. "If there is a second one, they are much more dangerous—and much more reckless."
[Scene 4: The Girl with the Red Eyes]
In a dimly lit room filled with gothic posters, a girl with blonde pigtails laughed. She was holding a second Death Note. Beside her, a dark, skeletal Shinigami named Rem watched in silence.
"I found him, Rem," Misa Amane said, her eyes glowing with a sinister red light. "I saw him on TV at the university ceremony. Light Yagami... his lifespan didn't appear above his head. He's the one. He's my God."
[Scene 5: The Message]
Misa picked up a pen and began writing a message to be sent to the TV station.
"I'm coming to find you, Light," she whispered. "With my eyes, we will kill L, and then... we will rule this world together."
