"Hemophilia, in medical terms it is a bleeding disorder where blood does not clot properly due to a deficiency of clotting factors like proteins but Xavier does not only have a deficiency..."
An old man in a white lab coat spoke empathically, his wrinkled face downcast as he flipped through an assortment of paper and continued.
"There seems to be a total and utter lack of any clotting factors, what little proteins are used to repair his hole mana veins, which are constantly destroying themselves. His condition is very much like you Madam Elise. "
He stopped fingers, pinching them together to pull out a report, on the top there was a name:
'Xavier Mary Flores'.
The doctor looked at the paper grimly, his eyes scanning the paper and focusing on a single line.
'Conditions: Severe Hemophilia, and Angina.'
He let out a shallow breath putting two fingers on his creased eyebrows.
"Will my child at least, live past 12?"
A young woman's soft voice rang out, her soothing and calm voice betrayed itself as Elise took a shaky breath. Her fragile pale face was stoic but hesitantly resigned.
"It doesn't look good. We will have to run some tests and see, make sure you visit our clinic for daily checkups, but I'm afraid no one with this sort of severe hemophilia has ever lived past 30, I recommend, you keep him inside, and limit any tense or straining activity."
"Can my child, at least go outside and be a normal person?"
Elise asked, drawing more in more shaky breaths, each one more unstable than the last, her face was morphed in dismay.
After all she already knew the answer.
"I'm so sorry Madam Elise."
The doctor had a pained expression on his face, failing to meet the young mother's eyes.
This was an expression he had already seen too well, from his years of being a doctor and from Elise's mother herself.
Tears were already trickling down Elise's face.
"Wi...will he at leas...at least grow u...up to have a different life th...an me?"
She stuttered between sentences, her voice threatened to break.
The old man didn't even have the heart to talk.
*Sob*
"WHY?"
"NOO.*Sob*"
Knowing her child might die before her frightened Elise. She cursed the world for bringing in this fragile child. One that might break with just a single touch. One that would suffer for every moment he is living. She cursed herself because It was her sin, her greed, her greed to love something to hold something with all the time she had left, she would live knowing that she brought suffering to her own child.
What mother would want that?
She felt a mix of emotions, all swirling for domination.
for, sadness, to resignation, to embarrassment, to
anger
In broken sobs she screamed, she screamed at the empty mansion so large but only her footsteps were heard, She screamed at the empty bed, where a pillow was but never a person. She screamed at the shelf in mansion, filled with frames of a pregnant woman, smiling emptily, sitting all alone.
"WHERE *Sob* YOU DAMIAN, WHY ARE *Sob* NEVER HERE, WHAT DO *Sob* WANT FROM ME."
She ran out of breath as she heaved weakly, falling to the ground, her soft black hair folding on the ground.
"Why... did you marry me?"

A boy sat outside on a chair, his pale face made him look like a cute porcelain doll. The chair's were next to a window, behind them was a window into a small white office, with a small bronze plaque at the bottom corner.
'Doctor Arthur : PHD in Hematology.'
Xavier sat quietly, then he pulled his legs up on the chair, he rested in a fetal position.
*Sob*
"WHHY"
He heard sobs in the background, the voice of a woman screaming and crying, muted by the glass pane.
Yet every word the woman said echoed throughout the office, the bystanders waiting for their appointments could hear every word, some turned away and some had faces of concern, staring at this little boy who was no more than 5.
Xavier muttered slowly under his breath, stretch every syllable.
"Mooommmy."
The hospital felt extra lonely that day.

Xavier opened his eyes, a surging pain brought him back to reality.
*Beep Beep*
The world around him was moving in a series of passing lights blurred in straight white lines. he the ground under him shift.
Xavier tried to open his mouth, but he couldn't, he physically couldn't.
"ADMINISTER ANESTHESIA, THE SUBJECT, CANNOT BE AWAKE WHEN THIS OPERATION IS PERFORMED!'
'Huh?'
A blue hand reached forward and touched Xavier's face, a cold mask like object was placed, covering where his nose and mouth was. All of a sudden he felt weak. The conversations around his became very unclear and muttered. His mouth was filled with the taste of metal.
"THIS SUBJECT IS A VERY FRAGILE CA..., WE HAVE TO PRY HIM OP.., THIS IS TOP PRIOR.."
'Huh?'
"But sir, how...the...poison?"
'Poison?'
Xavier felt his eyelids shut.
His consciousness was fading.
