Like the world had layers he could now see through.
"…It's happening again," he muttered.
The air in front of him trembled.

Aren stood up immediately.

Outside his room, chaos began.

Aren rushed to the window.
And froze.
The sky was wrong.

Not bright.
It was breaking.
Cracks of light spread across it like shattered glass.
"…This isn't normal…" he whispered.
The system responded instantly.

Aren's eyes widened.
"…First shift?"
A massive shadow appeared far above the academy.
Not a creature.
Not a storm.
Something that didn't belong in reality.
Students were panicking below.
Teachers trying to control the situation.

The shadow moved.
Slowly.

It turned.
Directly toward Aren's location.
Aren stepped back.
"…It's looking at me…"

His heart tightened.

The shadow grew closer.
The pressure in the air increased.

Aren clenched his fists.

He didn't panic.

He stepped forward.

Toward it.
"…Then I'll find out why."

Aren's vision flickered white for a moment.
His body felt light.
Strange.

The shadow descended further.
