" I need to understand why of all the places to be attacked in, its my private building which is practically on a different plane " lady Quinn looked more furious than ever walking towards her seat on the high council, her steps could b heard echoing through the entire building.
taking her seat she looked towards the top seat the president of this council sat nonchalantly as ever on the top seat.
the council represented different planets as each planet had its different council and this was the earth council consisting of twenty members and among them was lady Quinn , ten of the council members represented the ten original families and five represented the brink families while the remaining five council members represented the different factions of the planet and lady Quinn represented the druids clan .
" well I'd prefer you be calm about the matter , you're not the only one who was attacked and I think this has to do with the demon race grudge against us fr exterminating the dee clan and last I checked it was the idea of you druids so you should be the least to complain about whatever retaliation they're plotting or executing " Nero said sluggishly
Nero was the clan leader of the Black clan, a clan that was most reversed for their ability of theft as a member of the Black clan could use the abilities of anyone within a thirty mile radius and the range increased with age and to top it up, Nero black was the president of the earth council and if anything was to lead to a confrontation right now, he would use the abilities of every single person in the room .
the lower ranked Black clan members could only use one ability at a time but higher ranked members could use at least the ten abilities at a stretch although the only ability the blacks could never use was the demon magic which the Dee clan held .
the blacks also had their own special ability which was PUPPET summoning , where they'd summon beasts and magical creatures and control them using strings.
" so now you're blaming it on my clan right , well I don't have any time for bickering with you Nero , in just asking that you enact the full extermination law and kill the remaining members of that clan it'll cut off the connection between us and the demons completely" she stated bluntly casting her face away not to meet the gaze of Nero anymore
" well we can't do that , we've already indulged in your clan's madness before which cost us the most powerful earth clan that supported us during the war with the EXOs .
I don't know if you've noticed but their seat has remained vacant for all these years and the moment they revive their clan, they'll be welcomed back to the council" smiling weirdly as he could see the annoyance on councilwoman Quinn's face
it was already planned , everyone in the council was helping the dee clan to be revived and they'd do their best to stop the druids this time from carrying out any selfish massacre .
" haven't you noticed recently there's been a lot of replacements in the top offices lately? that's because we were trying to purge out you selfish druids from the high ranks and to promote the rejuvenation of the Dee clan ." it was someone else who spoke this time council man Andy Ray the leader of the original family Ray clan .
" you've all been fooled , I don't know who did it but trust me by the time you'd recognize it, it'll be too late and you'd wish you had listened to me " Quinn reaffirmed her point but nobody was willing to listen to her this time
" you said the same thing last time , in the end you used the combined power of the council to fulfill your selfish ambitions which will not repeat itself ..... I just want you to know that we've found out about your recent activities and you should stop hunting down those remaining Dee members or you'd not like the retaliation of the supreme council board " Nero spoke more sluggish expressing how severe the punishment would be
" the supreme council huh, you're definitely bluffing , the supreme council would never do that bec....." she wasn't even done speaking but she was interrupted by Nero
" because a member of the druids holds the position of the supreme president huh?..... you're so naive , he was impeached yesterday and replaced so please exercise caution or else" Nero wasn't sluggish this time but rather annoyed
" it has also come to my notice that you have the elders of the Dee clan imprisoned in secret locations and one of which was base 3 and one of them escaped right ?" he returned to being sluggish as he laughed at her failures
" what do you expect me to do with the information you provided me just now, you know doesn't mean you can do anything about it " she smuggishly spitted her words
" well just so you know , there have been a cross galaxy declaration and the dee family members are no longer fugitives , you thought you had them suppressed all this time but you were wrong they were simply waiting and this is the right time .
once they find out about this declaration they'll break free and reclaim all their properties which you coarsed alongside your clan members.
the planet your currently trying to completely inhabit , I'd advice you dont do that, also you should leave those two tier one cities which belonged to them I'm sure you've converted it to your secret base or something but trust me even if they don't try to reclaim it now they'd do so once they have enough power to
I've allowed you to parade your arrogance so much but it will not continue , everything you stole from them shall retrieve in a billion folds and we shall do nothing to intervene "
" I don't care about what you have to say , we dont need your support I'll make sure those demons don't exist even if its the last thing I do " angrily he stood up and left the council meeting
' how dare hey spit on my face ' she thought to herself as she stormed out of the building
