*As Diego walked out of the restaurant, leaving Racheal and Ben, he smirked.
His secretary being curious asked him what happened and all he said was 'The game is about to begin.
He then drove out to his house.*
The next morning.
Racheal woke up feeling blessed and happy. She loved Sunday for it was the day to praise the Lord. She got up from the bed, did the dishes and took her bath for church. She called up Taye* Her African friend who she loved going to church with*
Taye: Hey Racheal
Racheal: Hey wassup, what's going on todayy?
Taye: I'll soon come to your house, I'm still dressing for church.
Racheal: That's more like it. Don't be late.
Taye: Okayy.
Racheal hung out and she sat down to wonder why Taye had this aggressive and manly tone whenever she spoke to her. Most times, Taye would say that she got it form the community where she grew up in but she wasn't aggressive personally.
Racheal cleared all thought and got prepared for church. She left her hair down and coiled the tip. She wore a blue fitted gown and she put on some accessories and some light makeup.
'Beautiful', she said as she walked out of the room. Racheal had this habit of complimenting herself whenever she dresses up cause her mom did the same.
The word 'Mom' repeated severally in her head as she burst into tears. She missed her mom a lot. Before leaving to further her studies abroad, her mom prayed and did everything possible for her to have good accomodation. She really missed her mom and would love to see her again.
She cleaned up her tears as she stepped out of her house. She locked her door and slid her key into her bag. As she turned, she was spooked by the scary face of Taye. At that moment, Racheal thought of the face of a mokey and realized they both looked alike.
Unknowingly, Racheal started laughing uncontrollably and Taye was confused. Taye decided to brush it off by complementing her dress but Racheal laughed so hard that her tummy starting having some slight pain. At that point, she knew she had to force herself to stop and she finally did.
Taye shook her head and they both got into the car and drove off to church.
In church.
They both got to church and were welcomed by two members: Mr. Bliss and Mrs. Bliss. They were both sweet and adorable newly wedded couple and loved to welcome members into the church.
Racheal was led to her sit and then the service commenced from 8am - 10am.
After church, Racheal felt really hungry and decided to get a snack for herself near the church. She walked a few steps and finally saw a store. She walked into the store and was thinking of what to eat when man in mask barged into the store and started shouting that everyone get down on their knees.
Racheal upon hearing this was stunned and became really scared. The man had a gun in his hand, and was heavily built so anyone who dared to fight with him will either die or land in the hospital.
Racheal became a victim of armed robbery. The man brought all the customers in the store to a corner and took all their phone and expensive materials they had on. Luckily for Racheal, she hid her phone at a last shelf of the store. Everyone in the store panicked as they heard police sirens outside the store
The first policeman kept repeating that the armed robber reveals himself but the armed robber was keen on leaving that place with the money.
1hr later, the armed robber threatened to kill a customer if the police didn't allow him to leave the store with his money. Now this made Racheal freeze and become really scared. She prayed that she wasn't the one he was going to pick but she also prayed that he picked none of them. As she was about to open her eyes, she saw a gun near her head.
Rachael was filled with anxiety and fear. She started crying uncontrollably and prayed for the lord to help her. Immediately she prayed, she notice a dark presence moving at the back of the store and coming closer to where the armed robber was. After some time of roaming around, the presence swung a stick at the head of the robber and he fainted on the spot.
Racheal filled with relieve thanked God but also wanted to thank the man for saving her. Before she could open her eyes, the man disappeared. The police then barged in and took over the incident that just occured. As she was about to leave for home, she remembered her phone so she went to get them.
Racheal went home with the curiosity of who the man was.
At the back of the store.
A man stood in the dark, removing his clothes and throwing them away. And there stood , Mr, Diego.
First bodyguard: You know we could have saved her in your stead.
Mr Diego: No I wanted to save her myself. He said as he smirked and got into this car and drove off.
