'Bring him in'
Mr Diego said as he turned to his bodyguard.
Everyone in the room knew Mr. Diego was furious so no one dared to talk.
His bodyguard walked in with a man, bagged and who looked tattered due to consistent beating. This was the man who embezzled the funds of Mr. Diego's company.
Everyone was shocked when the man came in. Murmurs everywhere untlil Mr. Diego slammed his hand on the table. Silence overcame the room.
The bagged man struggled and cried as he begged Mr.Diego to spare his life. He talked about him having 3 kids and a wife but Mr.Diego didn't care. He immediately ordered his bodyguard to give him his gun. After collecting it, he immediately shot him in his head. Everyone was scared but Mr. Diego ignored them and told his bodyguard to dispose of his body. Mr. Diego then turned around and left to his Company.
Racheal's house.
Racheal woke up at exactly 6am to get ready for work. She did her necessary things and wore her office work outfit and did her hair. She left her house at exactly 7am and got to ther office by 7:30am. She was nervous as this was her first day at work. She didn't know if they would be nice to her but she had no choice but to enter. She came into the office and went straight to to the receptionist. She talked to the receptionist explaining to her that she was a new employee. As she was discussing, the secretary came up at her back and tapped her. Racheal turned back and saw the woman. She was unusually happy to see her but she didn't want to show it. She greeted the secretary formally and she led him to Mr. Diego's office.
Racheal: Why am I going to his office?
Secretary: He said I should bring you to his office immediately you come.
Racheal: Okay. By the way, what's your name?
Secretary: I'm Cersie Markhow.
Racheal: Nice name for a pretty lady.
Secretary: You're joking.
Racheal: But I'm serious.
Cersie didn't have the time to respond and she pushed me into his office.
'Good luck', Cersie said as she left me there.
I hesitated a little before i waked into the office a little. I turned to the right only to see Mr. Diego taking his shirt off. Omg his packss!! He looked so hot without a shirt. I blushed alot before I looked away.
Mr. Diego: Why did you look away? He asked smirking
Racheal: umm I'm sorry. Didn't know you were removing your shirt.
Mr Diego: It's fine, he said as he came to her back and hugged her.
Shock. That's what Racheal felt at the moment. His big and broad shoulders around her made her feel at home. He made her think of her mother. Racheal immediately pushed him away. Mr. Diego smiled and told her that she was the first to do something like that. Other girls would have taken advantage of the situation and had sex with him.
Mr. Diego: Sit down.
Racheal: Okay sir
As she sat down, they talked about work and her time frame. They also discussed about her salary and Racheal liked the amount.
She left the office blushing and kept thinking about the hug. She doesn't know why she feels so safe when she is around him. As she came out of the the office, Cersie mimicked the hug and Racheal blushed once again. They both laughed as Cersie led her to her section. Racheal sat down and was immediately given some files to rewrite. It was much but she was sure to finish it that day.
When she was half done, her hands were sore. She left for her lunch break, she bought tea and snack quickly and returned to her table. She was really determined to finish the writing that day. Fortunately, she finished at exactly her closing hours which was 7pm. She released a sigh of release. She submitted the paperwork to her section master and the man was really impressed of her work. He told her good job and wished her a Bright night. Racheal waved as she headed to her table and packed her stuffs.
As she turned around, she found Mr.Diego at her back. She was perplexed as she almost fell but Mr. Diego caught her. They stared at each other after some minutes but then he brought her up.
Mr. Diego: Am I that scary?
Racheal: No, I was just shocked
Mr. Diego: From now on, i want you to call me Diego.
Racheal: But you are my boss.
Mr. Diego: I see you as my friend already so call me Diego.
Racheal: Okay si.. sorry I mean Diego.
As she said that, they both laughed.
Diego: Are you heading home now?
Racheal: Yes I am
Diego: Can I drive you home?
Racheal: Noo dont worry about me. I can go by myself
Diego: Im your friend, I have the right to be worried and don't reject my offer.
Racheal: Okay fine, Diego. Can we go?
Diego: Of course, he said smiling.
They both headed to his car and he opened the door for her. Racheal smiled and thanked him. He got in and they drove off.
They both talked as they reached Racheal's house. Racheal was shocked and she asked him how he knew her house. Diego then told her that she doesn't need to know. They both laughed as Racheal got down and waved good bye to Diego. She thanked him for the ride and he drove off. Racheal got into her house and freshened up.
She decided to watch a move but after 30mins, she slept off on the couch.
