The trip through the Forest of Jura was largely uneventful. We could've flown but I wanted to see the forest much to Milims complaining.
Although it was our Uncle Veldora's Domain he didn't appear. I heard Velzard punished him recently. I guess she didn't do a full reset on him this time. However I could feel three sets of eyes on us. The larger presence was Veldora. The other was probably Velzard. The third I could barely sense, but it felt strong as well. I guess that's why hasn't showed hes afraid of his sister as usual. It should be noted that in raw power Veldora, although the youngest of the three siblings of my father, is the strongest.
However he has no skill, is belligerent and tries to solve all his problems through brute force. He couldn't even take a humanoid form and his magicule control was a mess. Velzard also hadn't shown either probably "visiting" uncle. As it was shown she was genuinely oblivious to her brother fear of her.
The three demoness accompanying us were on edge. The whole journey through the forest. We eventually crossed the the river acting as a border between the forest and our future domain.
We were a few Kilometers out by the time she appeared.
"Oh you must be my cute niece and nephew. You've probably heard of me from big brother, but I'll still introduce myself. I'm the frost dragon Velzard. You can call me Big sis or Big sis Velzard."
I immediately knew she would smack me if I called her aunt directly. I turned to look at Milim she looked incredibly confused. I guess she didn't pay attention to dad's stories.
Aunt Velzard was smiling sweetly at us. That felt weird.
"Forgive my sister she doesn't alway pay attention and is a little dumb sometimes. She probably wasn't paying attention when dad talked about our relatives."
Milim's confusion seemed to overlook me calling her dumb again. Also in some respects we are more siblings than aunt and nephew. After all our father created his siblings. So by technicality even though he called them his siblings. He was technically their father too.
"Ah I understand you uncle Veldora is like that too. Let me guess she's punch first ask questions later."
"Not really she's more playful and childish about it. Then you pissed me off now die. Although she is like that sometimes."
"Hey! Who you calling a child!?"
Oh she's back. I just gave her a dead pan stare.
"Sis we are children we are only 12 years old. I'm only like this because I knew someone would have to reign you in sometimes."
It was a slight lie, but not entirely. I acted similarly to Milim when I was younger, but quickly matured after our parents died. Reincarnation helped with that.
She looked away trying to whistle. I decided to ignore it this time. The three demoness were qiuet. They probably wanted to fight, but knew that was a suicidal idea.
"Anyway Primordial of Red Rouge sent me here saying you wanted to talk to me. Imagine my surprise when he appeared as a demon lord and incarnated."
Oh lord, this might be ugly I just she isn't completely obsessed with him yet.
"So big sis I'm sure you are aware of what happened. Milim and I didn't know any sealing techniques. So I made a deal with Rouge. He seals Gaia and in return I owe him a favor and convince you to… stop bothering him and let him do his job."
It was very sudden. Her aura burst forth for a brief second. Freezing a late amount of the terrain instantly. We were okay relatively, but hell is it cold. Her aura vanished but it was still cold. True dragons are fucking terrifying.
*sigh*
"Big sis?"
"Your right. I probably should stop bothering him. Honestly if Brother didn't appoint him mediator I would have no interest in him. But your right being the mediator is a very important job."
Holy fuck I honestly can't believe she agreed so easily. A few thousand years later she was so obsessed with him, she pretended to be mind controlled just to fight him. Well I guess that's over and done with.
I did wonder what changes this would bring. Personally I'm not too concerned with canon. If it happens it happens if so I'd be able to use the few notes I've taken. I don't have a perfect memory and I don't hav a bullshit Google skill like great sage. I also wonder how Guy will end up gaining His ultimate skill Lucifer, lord of pride. He got said skill from Velzard challenging him. Oh well not my problem. Personally I'd prefer if he didn't. the fact it can copy ultimate skills he had seen is utter bullshit.
We walked further into the land we would claim. Big sis Velzard decided to come with us. I stopped calling her aunt in my head I could vaguely feel her annoyance, as if I was thinking something rude. A woman's intuition is scary. Not to mention Velzards power although called the frost dragon. That's just the most basic form of her ability her true ability is to stop time. Although due to our father we possess the same "digital nature" that a true dragon would have so it's pointless against us.
We eventually reached the city of the forgotten dragon. Honestly was bullshitting if this place was here. It was unclear how long it existed. I only guessed it be here because of Father Middray's age. I also have no clue why it was named that either. Milim wouldn't care to do so she's to free spirited for that.
The dragon newts were waiting outside the city prostrating. Oh look it's Father Middray and Hermes. Two of Milim's most loyal subordinates.
"We greet the True dragon, Velzard." They shouted in unison
Big sis just giggled clearly amused by their devotion to worshiping the true dragons.
"It's fine I'm only here because of my niece and nephew."
I notice she did not tell them to rise or anything. Well they are equivalent to ants to her. Middray and Hermes looked up. the remaining stayed prostrated.
"Pardon my ignorance, but did you say niece and nephew?"
Ah right our existence is that widely known yet. Kinda makes me wonder how the elves knew. Oh well, they dead anyway.
"Yes, go on introduce yourselves you two."
Velzard pushed us forward. Milim looked nervous. Oh right leading people isn't her thing. Took Frey and Carrion both to get her to even try.
"My name is Calux Nava and this is my twin sister, Milim Nava. Our father was Veldenava. He took a human form because he fell in love. The result was us."
Hermes' eyes widened. Middray looked like he was about to squeal in excitement.
I felt her gratitude through our shared unique skill. It was an interesting thing as long as one of us were alive we could bring back the other. This applied to our subordinates we have connected to via the soul corridor as well. The first ability was unlikely to be used very few things can fight us let alone kill us. We probably couldn't beat any of the true dragons… except uncle maybe. The primordial, minus Rouge and Noire, would be difficult but not impossible. Rouge and Noire weren't beatable due to the experience gap on top of their power. After all even though we had some abilities due to our awakening. We had zero real combat training.
Well the next few centuries will be interesting. I hope.
Author's note: I hope it was obvious, but I'll say it anyway there's about to be some very large time skips over the next chapters. It's around 2500 years till the plot of tensura kicked off. Although canon will happen kinda, I mean some changes are going to be very obvious due to Calux and things he's already changed. If it wasn't obvious I have no set release schedule however I will let you all know before hand if I go on hiatus
