"When has The Gourmet Pavilion ever charged you?" Sean Quinn retorted lightly.
That did seem to be the case.
Wait a minute. Stella Lockwood suddenly looked up, her gaze sharpening. 'This has a deeper meaning!' she thought. She quickly asked, "That card... you didn't give it to me on purpose, did you?"
"Mhm..." He nodded, but immediately wished he could take the sound back.
Stella Lockwood was instantly confused. 'Does that mean he started paying attention to me six years ago? I was only sixteen back then, still in high school. How could he have noticed me?'
Sean Quinn glanced at her, a little worried she might see through him.
"But how did you even know who I was back then?" Stella Lockwood frowned.
Sean Quinn sat to the side, phone in hand, and casually scrolled through it. He didn't answer, instead changing the subject. "What were you about to say? Did you have something to ask me?"
