"Okay, I'll do whatever Miss Stella says." Shane Sanders couldn't believe it—Stella Lockwood thought so highly of him.
At the doorway, Sean Quinn's eyelid twitched. He was deeply annoyed to see Stella with her arm slung over another guy's shoulder. Even though he could tell she had no romantic interest in the young man, he just didn't like it one bit.
"Stella, go find Skylar for me. I want to talk to her later about your father's diary. There are a few details I'd like to verify…" He deliberately sent her away. "Lyric, I need to speak with you… Come to your older brother's study on the third floor."
With that, he turned and went upstairs.
Stella Lockwood could clearly sense that Sean Quinn was very unhappy. She instinctively withdrew her hand from the young man's shoulder.
Serena Lockwood noticed it too. She couldn't help but glance at Shane Sanders before following Sean. 'She had a feeling a certain someone was jealous of this kid. But isn't he gay? How could he be jealous?'
