Stella Lockwood and her mother hadn't been on good terms for a long time. She absolutely couldn't just show up at their door unannounced. That would be tantamount to declaring to everyone that she had ulterior motives.
"Okay, I got it."
"Alright, you go ahead and pack your things. I'll head out first..."
He turned and left the room, hurrying downstairs to find Serena Lockwood and deal with an important matter. On the way down, however, he overheard Shane Sanders saying, "Miss Serena, inspiration struck last night and I wrote a song, lyrics and music. Can I sing it for you and you can tell me what you think?"
"Sure, I'm free anyway. Go on, let's hear it," Serena Lockwood replied.
Shane Sanders cleared his throat and then said, "Miss Serena, do you have a guitar? I remember Flynn Lynch used to sing and dance before he passed away. I think he had a guitar. Could I borrow it?"
"You can forget about his guitar. My dad has one here... wait... I'll go get it for you..."
