By the time Sean Quinn and Stella Lockwood rushed to the hospital, Byron Fisher had already been taken to the morgue, and Zoe Fisher was in emergency care.
Looking at the man covered by a white sheet, Stella Lockwood's heart felt heavy. She ached for Zoe Fisher, who had lost both her parents in just a few short days. When she woke up, how could she possibly bear such a devastating life change?
She couldn't help but think of her own twelve-year-old self, the pain of losing her closest family, a pain that lingered to this day, refusing to fade.
At this moment, she suddenly felt lost. If she and Sean Quinn hadn't found that clue, would these two people still be alive? Would Zoe Fisher not have become an orphan?
But if she didn't investigate, to whom could she appeal for justice for her father's death?
Sean Quinn, however, had a grave expression as he asked Morton Grant, "Tell me what happened at the scene..."
