After Iris Churchill and Byron Fisher broke up, they rarely met in private. So, what he'd said was understandable. But Sean Quinn felt there was a hidden meaning behind his words.
"Can we see Zoe's pocket watch?"
"It's right in the drawer."
Zoe Fisher glanced at the nearby drawer.
Sean Quinn immediately pulled it open. Sure enough, a butterfly-shaped pocket watch lay in the top drawer. Inside, one half held the watch face while the other held an embedded photograph of a smiling family of three.
An idea struck him. He carefully pried up the glass cover and removed the photo. Beneath it was a lead shim. After he broke the shim free and inspected it, he saw an Internal Storage Card adhered to the back.
Stella Lockwood saw it too. Her gaze intensified, and a thrill of joy rose in her heart. 'The second Internal Storage Card is finally found.'
