Stella's mind went blank. She had wanted to create an intimate scene, but she never expected this man who supposedly hated her to actually kiss her. 'This is completely different from his previous reactions...'
By the time she came to her senses, the kiss was over. He nonchalantly picked up his coffee and walked away, as if he hadn't just kissed her at all.
Stella covered her mouth, a little frustrated. She turned to watch him walk calmly to the sofa. 'This guy is so unpredictable. Didn't he say he hated me? That he wanted a divorce? That I wasn't allowed to seduce him? How could he just kiss me like that... He's such a hypocrite.'
'If *he* saw this, wouldn't he just explode with rage?'
She bit her lip. Instead of panicking, she asked, "You kissed me? Does this mean you still have feelings for me?"
Now seated on the sofa, Sean Quinn just stared coolly at a certain spot, his eyes defiant.
Yes, his gaze was pointed.
