Wyatt Quinn's words infuriated Damian Fairchild.
Before Seraphina Quinn could speak, he ground his back teeth and sneered:
"There's an old saying: it's better to tear down ten temples than to break up one marriage. Master Quinn, if you keep this up, don't blame me for disrespecting my elders on her account."
Wyatt Quinn's voice was cold. "And how exactly do you plan on being disrespectful?"
Seeing the atmosphere grow hostile again, Seraphina Quinn quickly interjected, speaking to Damian Fairchild, "Can you just say a little less?"
Damian Fairchild raised an eyebrow, his gaze unfathomable as he looked at her.
Seraphina looked at him. "Let me down. I want to talk to him alone."
Damian seemed thoughtful for a moment before finally letting Seraphina off his lap.
After that, Damian stood up and left.
Seeing this, Wyatt Quinn's brow furrowed so deeply it could have crushed a fly.
He stared at Seraphina Quinn without blinking.
