Damian Fairchild looked at Seraphina Quinn's shocked expression. "You seem awfully concerned with other people's business."
Seraphina Quinn pouted. "How is this other people's business? This is a major affair for the Quinn family."
Damian Fairchild said, "Let's have lunch together in a bit."
Seraphina Quinn instinctively wanted to refuse, but Damian Fairchild spoke first.
"You didn't want to move back in, and I respected your wishes. I'm just asking you to have lunch with me. Are you going to refuse that, too?"
His words made Seraphina Quinn feel a pang of guilt.
It was true that Damian Fairchild had used Annelise Winslow to threaten her. But in a way, if it weren't for him, she and Wyatt Quinn might have never found out about the child's existence.
So, the moment Damian Fairchild finished speaking, Seraphina Quinn quickly replied.
"That's not what I meant. I'm not unwilling to have lunch with you. I... I wanted to treat you."
